As a Father

Alex couldn’t lie to himself, admitting that he indeed missed his lover. Even though this Remina didn’t have the same memories like him, Alex’s heart still belongs to her.

He then half-whispered to Remina, “let’s go to the gazebo, shall we?”

Alex helped Remina to get into the gazebo that looked over to the pond. He then reached into his pocket and found a piece of bread inside. The hero then offered, “I happen to have some bread in my pocket. Do you want to feed the fish?”

Remina nodded and received some breadcrumbs that Alex gave. She then spreaded the crumbs to the water, causing tens of koi in the pond to swarm and took every crumb with nothing left. She giggled then looked at Alex. “Careful, they might splash.”

The man then gave some more of the bread to Remina. A slight graze was made when he handed the bread piece to the princess and Alex got butterflies inside his stomach. The memory of his time with Remina as a couple in the past life stil
