Weeks ago, the dwarf village received a letter from the Nousant king that asked them to help mine the manna stones, the main material for the tower. At first, the dwarfs seemed disinterested because they had many things to do, but they agreed when knowing that the king promised to pay them bountiful money.

“There’s no way we’re going to reject this offer!” Lucius the chief dwarf spoke to his people, then declared that he would rally some of the best miners in the village to do the job.

All dwarfs were filled with joy and enthusiasm upon hearing the news. Just in a short amount of time, almost hundreds of dwarfs were volunteering to mine the magical stones. After a few periods of selection, seven dwarfs were chosen as the main miners. Doc, the absent-minded dwarf appointed himself to be the leader of the group which consisted of other six dwarfs. He was also responsible for reporting the mining progress to Lucius and ensuring the dwarf miners were doing their job.
