Almost everyone in the dwarf village wasn't safe from the contagious disease. Only a few people were still healthy from the epidemic. Lucius felt that he needed to inform Alex about the disease that was holding his people down from mining the manna stones. He then ordered one of his trusty dwarfs, named Brokk, to visit the Nousant Kingdom and tell what was happening there.

“You should go there, Brokk,” Lucius told him one day from a small hole in the door that led to his room. The chief decided to isolate himself to prevent the illness from spreading to the remaining healthy dwarfs. “I can’t go now, or I’ll risk myself dying on the journey.”

Soon, early in the morning while the sun just peeked out from the horizon, Brokk left the village with his loyal donkey and set out to the said kingdom.
