Hey guys ^-^ Just wanted to thank you all for reading my novel. I will try my best to stick to two chapters per week; however, seeing as I am quite a busy person, I might need to change it back to one chapter per week. But I will inform you in due time. Well, enough with all that, I enjoy writing the second volume of Code Name: Ryu. Give me your thoughts on the chapters and recommend it to your friends. Spread the Concept of journey {I think that's right}. Aid Haruki by following him on his journey, because the story gets even better. Like, comment and share. See you all next week.
So, I re-wrote all of the chapters(Hooray! Everybody cheers!!)But when I changed some chapters they saved as Author's Notes.(Author's hitting his head against a wall in embarrassment)As for the updated schedule:I will release the last few chapters of this volume at irregular time intervals. From that point forward, I will write all the chapters of the upcoming volumes and release one chapter daily. What I mean is there will be a break (OH NO!) until I finish Vol 3. Then I will release Vol. 3's chapters daily (YAY!!) I could do the weekly chapters but I want some time to craft it into something *AHEM* readable... So, this is the schedule I'm going with. That's all. Enjoy...
"This can't be... Where is the village?" "We looked everywhere, Haruki. Are you sure this was the right way?" asks Rai. "Of course, this is the right way," I roar. "Then where is the village!!" screams Elsie. I look around. The smell of the village still lingers in the air, like it's still here. But it's not. What's going on? "I-It... could be... an enemy's magic..." says Erika, shivering. "An enemy's magic?" I ask. "But when could we..." A light goes off in my head. "The barrier," I say, "That can be the only plausible explanation." "But didn't you cast a barrier of your own, Haruki?" asks Rai. "The enemy's barrier may have been more powerful than mine." "A barrier more powerful than yours?" questions Elsie. "I find that hard to believe, seeing as you defeated me using my magic before." "I know many magical spells; however, I do not have experience using them. I may have used too little mana in my spell. It could be that, or..." "Or?" "Or we are dealing with an expert in t
My mind goes blank, and I pass out. "Where am I?" I ask as I look around the void-like space. Seeing as no one is around, I guess this is something similar to when Elizabeth and I met. "K..." I hear a voice. It's faint, but it's there. "Who are you?" I ask the voice. "Let me out of here so I can save my friends." The voice does not respond. "DID YOU HEAR ME!!" I snap. "LET ME OUT, MY FRIENDS NEED ME!!" "N... Need... yo... you...?" asks the voice, static-like. "Do... you... th... think... y... you... can... sa... save... your... friends...? With... your power... you will... fail..." As frustrating as it is, this voice is right. Hafiz will not allow me to cast Healing Magic. And I'm not strong enough to break his barrier. "Then what do you suggest," I say, giving in the voice's intent. "U... Use... my... power..." "Your power? Are you speaking about my Fólkvangr Mode?" "Use... my... power..." says the voice once more. A projection of the battle appears in front of me. "Watch me..
I regain consciousness and jump up, panting heavily. I look down, "A bed?" I ask confused. I start looking around, "Is this... a home?" What happened? Why did I regain control of my body? What was that voice? Why did Hafiz tell me to leave Grand Order? Too many questions, and too few answers. The door to this small cottage opens. I jump off the bed and ready a fighting pose. An old man, carrying piles of wood enters and sees me up. He walks past me, as if he is completely ignoring my existence, and feeds the fireplace with the fresh wood. The room fills with a welcoming heat. The old man opens the pot - which was over the fire. A mouthwatering smell fills the air. He grabs a ladle and scoops some of the stew into a handcrafted wooden bowl. He places the bowl down and fills two more bowls. "Are you just going to stand there?" asks the old man. I sit at the table and start eating. After one bite tears fill my eyes. "What is this?" I ask, chomping down on the chunks of meat and gulping
"Village Chief!!! Village Chief!!!" "What? Why are you screaming?" "Ther... There's trouble!!" "Trouble? What could be so troublesome that you forget we are protected by King Heilder?" "A... A dragon... There's a dragon at the front gate!!" "A dragon? So, what? A mere dragon does not frighten me. We have our wonderful King..." "Oh?" I ask from outside the village chief's house. "No fear at all. I'm surprised." I rip the roof from his house. "So, you are the village chief," I say, looking at the priest from earlier. "Where are my friends?" "Your friends? Ah, you must be the visitor from earlier. Well, colour me surprised. I never expected you to be a dragon." "Enough small talk. Answer my question." "I am sorry, dragon whose name I know not. As I said earlier, your friends are not here." "He's lying," screams the little boy. "Tristan?" asks the village chief. "Where were you? We have been looking for you. Come here," he says spreading his arms and wearing a creepy smile, "I w
"An ape-like creature. Its ability to walk on two feet is not the only aspect it shares with humans. The Yeti can understand and converse with humans. Many speculate about the Yeti's favourite dish. Some believe it to be grass, others think snow. However, the truth is that the Yeti is a carnivorous beast who loves the taste of human flesh. With three humans trespassing in this pocket dimension, he is bound to reveal himself." "Two humans," I say, correcting her. "I am a dragon." "A dragon? I see. Now I understand the force behind your magic. But that does not change anything." "Why do you say that?" "The Yeti is the only one of its race. However, because of this, it has an immortal life and regeneration surpassing a hydra's. On top of this, the Yeti has complete mastery over Ice Magic. Even the god governing ice is helpless before its mighty magic. That is why Yeti is known to seek out dragons - who are known as the strongest race - and challenge them to battle. It has felled many
"Do you know where they are?" asks Tess as we run. "I can hear voices." "Do you believe your friend will reach us?" asks the Village Chief's voice. "I know Haruki will find us. And once he does, you will regret holding us as hostages." Rai? Thank god she's okay. "This way. We need to increase our speed," I say, punching through walls. "Even if he does show up, he will never defeat my Yeti." "Haruki is powerful. Your Yeti doesn't stand a chance." "You are adamant on your knight. I wonder... What face will you make when we present his corpse to you?" "Haruki will not fall to the likes of you." "Princess Rai, you are quite the feisty one. I was going to present you to King Heilder, but I think he will dislike your personality. Therefore, I shall take you as my own and present those knights to King Heilder. Now, princess, are you prepared? Do not worry. I have pleasured many in my time. You, princess, will be subservient to me." I feel my blood boiling. I punch through the final
It's been three weeks since we departed. Accompanied by Seanan and Doll, we travelled to the centre of Sakura Kingdom's technology, the City of Science, Lura. "Welcome to the heart of our trade, Lura," says the round gentleman before us. "I am the Duke of this town, Neko Lura, and also the head scientist of that factory over there." He points to the building at the centre of the town. He looks back at me and scans my body. "My, my. What a fine specimen you are." "Specimen?" I ask, baffled. "Neko, cease your rude remarks," demands Seanan. "This here is the hero, and king, of the Borneheimer Kingdom, Niklaus Borneheimer." "The Borneheimer Kingdom? Ah, that ancient Kingdom, huh? Don't worry, Hero Niklaus. I will not bore you with silly science talk." "Science? What's that?" "Oh my, your stupidity knows no bounds, does it?" "Neko!!" yells Seanan. "Hear me, Hero Niklaus," dramatizes Neko, ignoring Seanan's warning. "There are many idiots in this world. This includes our hero, Erika
After Haruki walked through the black door, we go back to Ragnarök, a year and ten months ago. "HARUKKII!!" Emygdius' voice roars throughout the forest, sending dragons and phoenixes flying in terror as Haruki disappears from Ragnarök. After getting blown away, he wastes no time returning to the spot where Haruki disappeared. He glares up to the sky, "Alvis!! Why did you stop me!?"Alvis Ragnarök appears from the bright evening sky, hovering. He raises his wooden staff and says, "Emygdius, you will stand down."Although frustrated, Emygdius has pledged his loyalty to Alvis, so he dares not disobey his orders. However, when Haruki is involved... "With all due respect, Alvis. Haruki is my only grandson, so I will not allow even you to stop me from rescuing him.""Emygdius, you already know, don't you? That boy is no one's child.""Shut up, Alvis. Don't say another word.""That boy is...""Alvis...""He is a false dragon.""SHUT UP!!!""Step down, Emygdius." Despite Alvis' warning, Emygdi
Brother? Who is—"Ah, I never introduced myself, did I? My name is Lucifer Morningstar. The second-born True God and your elder brother.""Elder... brother?""Yes. You were born from a portion of the True Gods' bodies. That makes you our youngest brother." He smiles at me and before I can say anything, he continues, "I would love to get to speak to this version of you longer but we have no time for chatter. You have been in Netherworld for about an hour, no?""I... I think so... yes.""Well, that's a problem.""How so?"Lucifer glares at Satan, "Did you not tell him?" Satan shudders as Lucifer's mana grows colder. He shakes his head. "Sigh, well, what's done is done.""What is it? Why do you have that grim look on your face?""Haruki, I don't want you to freak out.""What's going on?" My mana spikes as I lose control of my emotions. "What is it that you're not telling me?"Lucifer looks at me with a cautious stare. "Haruki, time runs differently in here than it does in Leagard. You ma
As I lie on the ground, exhausted, someone claps their hands. I lift my head to find someone dressed from head to toe in diamond knight's armour. He continues to clap his hands as I lift myself from the ground."What a wonderful spectacle," he says. "You outperformed Satan in quite a unique way." Deep inside the abyss of his mask, red eyes glare at Satan. "Do you yield, Satan?"The ice around Satan starts melting. After a few seconds, cracks appear in various spots around him and he breaks free from the spell. He looks at me and smiles, "Yes, I yield.""Good. Then, we can start making our way to the castle.""I'm sorry," I say, confused. "Who are you?"His eyes move to me. "I am The Greedy Mammon—one of the seven mortal sins.""I see..." I scan his body. From head to toe, he's covered in diamond. "Why—""Why am I covered head to toe in diamond armour, you ask?""Well, yes but—""No need to concern yourself with such measly worries. I wear this armour because it is the most expensive a

"How about we test it out here, then?""What? Are you serious?"He laughs. "Your mana is flaring again. Are you that excited?"Ever since I became an Acceelos, I had this gnawing feeling... "Are you sure you want to do this?" I ask him."Are you getting cold feet now, Haruki?""Cold feet? Are you joking?"... of wanting to fight someone powerful. "I'm hyped."Satan walks a long distance from me. "Well then, I think it's only appropriate that I take a proper form when I face you, don't you think?""A proper form?"Satan's mana leaks from his body like smoke. Red streaks? Red streaks of smoke rise from his pale, raisin skin."This pruned form is what the picture books in Leagard paint me as. It was also easier to move around in Leagard in this form. But that is far from what my true form is."His... true form...His body suddenly exudes smoke in excess. The smoke swirls around his body in a vicious storm—masking his body and presence. After a few seconds, a hole in the smoke storm hisse

'This feeling of bliss… It’s nostalgic.''This is the Path—a bridge between the realms. It induces serenity within your mind to distract you from your body being ripped to shreds and formed anew.''R-ripped to shreds?'‘Yes. It’s a gruesome process but the Path was designed to put your mind at ease through the transportation.’‘Wait? Won’t I be rejected from Netherworld like I was in Leagard? Am I going to disappear?’'Calm down, Haruki. You won’t disappear. There are two types of Paths: Legal and Illegal. You were forcefully sent to Leagard through an Illegal Path, which didn’t allow your body’s genetic code to integrate into the realm's network. This is a Legal Path. This gory process is a means for the realm to identify and integrate our genetic code.''I-I see.'Despite being ripped to shreds and restructured, Satan was right, I didn’t feel any pain or discomfort. The process went by in a flash. One second all I saw was an array of purple hues streaming before my eyes, the next I
This is Leviathan? She’s huge. “Haruki Ryu?” she repeats. “Hmm, rolls off the tongue much better than Code Name: Ryu, wouldn’t you say, Satan?” Satan? Her eyes fall on the demon. “So, you’re Satan?” He does not answer me. Instead, he says, “Leviathan, we want to enter Netherworld. Let us through.” “Of course, I’d be delighted to assist you. But are you here for that?” She looks at me. “Is that the only reason you came to meet me?” I shake my head, “No, I came to ask for your help.” “My help?” “There’s a man… Or, something that has taken over the Borneheimer Kingdom. We want your help in exterminating him.” “You want my help? You do know the power you possess right now is near-unrivalled. Whoever this mysterious being is, I doubt they could defeat you.” “So, that’s a no?” Leviathan remains silent. She thinks for a moment, then says, “I will help you. This man… No, this God is not someone you want to fight alone. Not when you’re still getting used to your newfound powers.” “G
After my fight with Behemoth, the demon and I took off to where he says Leviathan is. “You say that was a spur-of-the-moment spell?” he asks, surprised. “Yes,” I reply, thinking back on my studies in Ragnarök, “I did as you said and hit Behemoth with a spell more powerful than Judgement.” But then again, Judgement may have worked just as well. I definitely powered up. “You’re more of a monster than Lucifer said,” he whispers. “Lucifer? Come to think of it, who are you to Lucifer anyway? For him to send you must mean he trusts you quite a bit.” “Trust?” The demon snickers, “Trust, you say. Lucifer does not trust me. And I don’t trust him either. We’re at odds, you see.” “Then why would you take orders from him?” The demon remains silent. We fly for another minute before he responds, “Lucifer is the King. And as King, he has the final say.” I can’t feel any emotion in his words. His expression is tame. And I just noticed this, I can’t see his mana. My eyes sharpened with this new
