The slight shooting sound Echoes the alleyway there are nails everywhere.

Arin didn't open his eyes and keep shooting the wererat, after few minutes later he opened his eyes at that time what he saw was the dead body of the wererat lying there.

The head of that wererats body had a lot of nails pierced through, and there is even more nails on the floor.

At that time the body returned to its normal human form, Arin became even more scared when he saw that.

" Di...did i just kill a human being? What do I do? I need to do something " Arin became panicked scared. He began to hyper ventilate.

He slowly breaths while being calm himself down. He opened his tear filled eyes and then looked at that now became human dead body of the wererat and decided that he need to throw away the weapon he used to kill it.

Before escaping that Arin stand up and searched around the dead body, he saw that the rat was wearing a ripped pants.

Arin decided to check on its pants, what he saw on that wererats pants was a visiting card and a small slightly burned blood stained map.

Arin then picked up the nail gun and slowly get up from the ground where he was searching through the wererats pockets, then he dragged his wounded leg and starts to walk.

It took him quite while to arrive at the bridge while his lege where wounded, the bridge was connected between upper city and downtown.

Arin looked down from the bridge then he looked each side to make sure that there is no one is watching him.

After that he throw away the nail gun into the river. The nail gun made a splashing sound and then sunk deep under the river.

Arin then looked for a small clinic insted of a hospital, after quite a while later he found a clinic. Arin knocked on the clinic's door.

He heard some noise from inside and the door opend, an old man came out and asked him what he wanted. Arin showed him his leg and said " i need you to do a stitch this wound for me "

Old man - what the hell happened to your leg, it look like a bullet wound. But on a closer inspection it seems like something pierced through your flesh.

Arin - Yes you're correct a iron bar pierced through my leg while I was doing some work. Can you stitch this? I will pay you handsomely.

The old man decided to turn him down first but when he heard about the money he said that he will patch him up.

The old man slowly stitched arin's leg, Arin paid him 2000 zerx insted of the standard fees. Then said to keep the old man's mouth shut.

After that Arin go back to his room.

Arin's room, Arin lay down on the bed and started to remember the things happened on that day one by one. " First the rumours about the ghost, then the human rat monster. Do the things that the middle-aged aged man said to me on that day was true, i need to find him soon as possible " Arin slowly fall asleep while he was thinking due to tiredness and stress he had.

At that time someone was looking for a specific thing, finally they arrived at alleyway and found out the wererats corpse.

The man in charge of the small group picked up his wirless and said.

" Ms. Tera, we found the wererat come here quickly it's urgent "

The voice from other side said Roger.

It took Tera 30 minutes to arrive at the alleyway, as soon as she arrived she asked. " What happened to him "

The person who called Tera was Tomar, he said that the wererat was murdered brutally.

Tera - Huh?? Who in the world murdered something like this? Does he use any powers to murder it?

Tomar - No ma'am we didn't find any trace of powers around here other than the wererat.

Tera looked around there and found the nails and asked tomar " did you find the nail gun used for the murder? "

Tomar - no ma'am, we didn't find anything like that. On the contrary i think a civilian had done it.

Tera looked around once more and called another person to check the wererats pockets, but they didn't find anything tera's face becomes red from the anger and she said. " This is done by not an ordinary person, it is done by someone who knows about the existence of these creatures "

Tomar - ma'am why are you saying that?

Tera said to him while suppressing her anger " This damn thing stole the map of blackmarket and it had the contact info of a specific person in there as well, now both of that are gone. Do you think an ordinary person would steal a map and visiting card for almost sacrificing their lives "

Tomar didn't said anything and then a person from their group came and asked what do they do now?

Tera said to them " contact to headquarters and ask for a necromancer "

Tomar - are you going to read the memories of the wererat by using necromancer?

Tera - Yes, atleast we can figure out how he looks like.

After a while the necromancer arrived and Tera told him what to do, the necromancer gather the dark energy surrounding the air and chanted something then he placed his hand on the wererats head. It took sometime to over.

After reading the memory of dead the necromancer said to Tera " ma'am there is no use, it seems like something powerful hides the existence of the person who killed the wererat "

Tomar - what do you mean by that?

Necromancer - How do i say that? Haa its like the persons body is glitched. I think it is something more powerful than i can handle.

Tera - Are you saying that you're so weak that you can't even trace a person?

Tera insulted the necromancer by saying awful things at him. And the necromancer simply replied by saying.

" Ma'am let me tell you one thing, we spellcasters are something that recognised by xeno. Do you think that they will approve some weaklings or are you question the xeno? " When the necromancer said that there was a murky black aura surrounding him and he said again. " What you're saying is right right now i am weak to detect this person, you can bring it the heads and use some powerful spellcaster to trace it's memory. "

Tera didn't said anything at that another person came and said.

" Ma'am we found some blood, it seems like something walked from here "

Tera and tomar go to there and take a look, the blood spilling was stopped after a few meters.

Tera said to tomar take some sample from the blood after that they decided to take the wererats body to the headquarters.

( The organization where Tera, Tomar, necromancer and other personals that are present there are working is called XENO. It's a government organisation where they tries to capture, experiment and investigate about supernatural anomalies. They have various personals that have different kinds of abilities to help them to find these things. On the outer surface they are something that protects the civilians.

But they are more cruel than anything they will not mind if the anomalies is harmless or harmful. At this time they are trying to create their own artificial anomalies.

There is another organization that have friendly yet rival relationship with XENO, That organization is called Exorc's.

The Exorc's an organization formed by the oldest existing families in the world those who tried to master, control and even hunt these anomalies.

The Exorc's have members who can also use abilities just like the members of XENO.

They are not the only two organization in this world. There is multiple small and big organization hidden in this world of supernatural anomalies. )

The staff member called Larsen came to Tera and said that they found another blood sample other the wererat on it's claw.

Tera looked surprised and went with him, Anjelica greeted het and said. " Ma'am the sample mister tomar gave me and the sample we got from this wererats claw are from the same person. "

Tera - Then what are you waiting for? Search his data through DNA profiling, with that we can see the person who stole our visiting card.

Tera seems desperate to find the culprit, they did exactly like Tera asked they search the database for a matching DNA. ( Every countries governments of this world issued a new rule that their entire citizens need to take a identity card known as universal card or UX Card. In this UX Card contains the holders bio metric data and DNA profiles. With this they can found anyone with their DNA. )

" Ma'am.... Ma'am, y...you need to see this " Anjelica stutters while she said that, when Tera looked at where Anjelica pointed her finger. It was the computer monitor.

The computer was displaying an error message when they tried to find the owner of that DNA. Tera became furious and pledge that she will find the culprit no matter what.

At that the black and white fur cat was cleaning it's face on the roof of Xeno headquarters while looking down what's happening in there.

When Arin opened his eyes it was almost next day 10 O'clock, Arin jumped from his bed and then turned on TV and change it into news.

He was looking for is there any news about yesterday's incident. But there was nothing about it on the news.

He even thought that nothing like that happened on yesterday,but when he looked at his leg he accepted that the thing he remembers actually happened.

He tucked inside of his blanket for sometime then he decided that he need to find the middle-aged man who said to him about these kind of supernatural things.

Arin changed his dress and get out of the hotel, then he head towards where he met that middle-aged man.

Arin looked around there for a long time but didn't saw that man, he even asked almost everyone about that middle-aged man.

All his futile struggle to find that man becomes worthless, Arin then head back to the hotel.

On his way he remembered that he picked up something from that thing who attacked him yesterday, Arin ran to his hotel room and checked his pocket.

The thing he got from the monster was a slightly burned blood stained map and visiting card.

He looked at the map carefully, it had point where it marked as blackmarket.

And the visiting card had nothing special about it, that was just a tool shop's visiting card. But anyway he decided to keep that.

Arin then looked carefully at the map, he saw something writen on the other side of the paper.

That was some instructions about how to enter to the the blackmarket.

[ 1. Go to the place where marked on the map. Then knock on the door for four times and said the keyword * It rains beautifully *. Then a masked man wearing suite will come out.

2. Give the man the money he is asking, even if just 1 zerx or 10 million zerx. If you say anything else the money will be doubled. Fir 1 zerx it will be 1 million zerx and 10 million zerx it will become 20 million zerx. And yes you can use you card to pay the money.

3. After paying the masked man will give you a mask to cover the visiters ( your ) identity while you're in the black market.

4 . The money is security fees, they will protect you from unwanted conflicts in the blackmarket for one time, if you pay them more money they will do that more time. ]

Arin was dumbfounded after reading that instructions. " What the heck is that edgy thing? And what do they even sell there. "

At that time Arin got a mail from the dessert era game's developer's.

It said that the party on tomorrow will be a masquerade party so all the people who attended the party need to cover their face.

Arin looked at the date and saw that today was 18th June. He decided that he need to buy the things for party.

Arin's stomach made a sound due to hunger, he then go to the restaurant to eat.

He saw Sera and some other staff discussing something serious, he waited a few minutes after the other staff was gone he approached Sera.

Sera - Sir i need to talk to you. It's urgent can you please follow me to the office.

Arin noded and followed Sera to her office.
