That Thing

Arin looked back, he felt like someone is following him. But didn't saw anyone " it must be my imagination " he thinks himself but even while thinking that he still fear the rumour of that ghost.

He was going to his old apartment to pick up some of his stuff, he climbed the stairs to his apartment.

Then put the key on the keyhole and opened the door, while he doing that someone was watching him and ran towards him.

When Arin looked at that, the mysterious figure bumped into him Arin got startled and fall backwards.

For a moment his soul left his body and Arin looked at that figure and said. " Ren? Don't scare me like that. "

Hihihihi that kid named ren giggled and asked Arin " big brother where did you go few days ago? Ren was waiting for you "

Arin - Ren my dear, i was in my hometown. I am sorry for not being able to play with you.

( Ren is arin's neighbour and he's only 4 years old, because Arin was his neighbour they used to play a lot )

Ren looked at Arin and said " big bro can you play with me today? ". But Arin politely said that he have something to do and he is busy for someday, but when he became free he will definitely play with him.

Ren pouted and said that he hate Arin. After saying that ren kicked at arin's leg and ran inside his room.

Arin laughed and then entered his house.

In his there is nothing much to pickup, only his cloths, books and some other things. Arin sat down on the floor and began to pack the things one by one.

Once he done the packing job he then laid down on his hard bed for sometime and closed his eyes. He slowly fall asleep just like that.

While sleeping Arin saw a dream, the dream was about a lady with long black hair looking at someone suddenly it jumped onto Arin then began to chock him.

Arin suddenly woke up from the sleep and rubbed his neck, he then looked at the mirror to see is there any mark.

" I think I keep dreaming of this ghost because of what the cleaning staff said. I need to calm myself. " After that Arin pick up the bag in which he packed his things and go back to his hotel room.

On his way Arin felt like his shoulder Became heavy and he became more tired than usual.

When he passed in front of the small restaurant where he usually saw the kitten he didn't saw anything. But then suddenly he fell forward like somebody pushed him, but somehow he didn't fall infront of the truck.

The people gathered around him and asked what happened they gave him a bottle of water and one person asked if he wanted to go to the hospital.

And Arin said that he is he just need to rest for sometime.

He sat infront of the shop sometime then slowly got up then started to walk towards his hotel.

He arrived at the hotel but when he tried to enter the security guard stopped him and asked what do he want.

Arin - i want enter the hotel.

Security guard - This hotel is only for rich, poor beggers like you can't enter this.

Arin laughed and calmly said " what do you mean poor begger. "

Security guard - obviously you're a poor begger who want to live like a richman, does any richman wear tattered clothes with dirt on it.

Arin - so you assumed that I'm a begger just by looking my dress, ( Arin didn't say anything and show his room card to the security )

The security guard grabbed his collor and asked him where do you get it?

Arin - you can the manager where does i get the room card.

Security guard then Called Sera. " Ma'am can you please come here for a moment, one person is causing trouble. I think he stole or forge our hotels room card. "

Sera - I will come quickly, Don't let him go.

Sera towards the main gates while mumbling " who the heck done forgery or theft of room card as soon as hotel had a new management. "

She saw the security holding a person who wears a dirty dress by collor, she then asked them in bold voice. " What Is Happening Here "

The security then turn back and said " ma'am this person is causing trouble, i think he stole a room card "

" Sera, can i please go to my room " suddenly Arin talked, but then security grabbed him and shouted at him. " How dare you to call manager by her name ".

Only at that time Sera understood who is the person they are trying to frame for room card theft.

Sera started to talk with shivering voice. " Se.... Security, le....let g..go this per.... person. He is one of our important guest. "

The security looked at sera like does she lose her mind? How can a begger became an important guest? "

Security guard - Ma'am, are you sure this begger is an important guest?

Sera - who are you calling begger, if you want this job then quickly let him go and apologize to him quickly.

The security guard became confused but he understood that Sera is serious. He apologized to Arin, then Arin said to Sera. " I hope you won't treat a person badly just by their appearance in future. First if they had anything to say listen to them and don't call them beggers "

Sera started to sweat and then Arin said " i will let it slide this one time, don't repeat it "

Sera - Yes sir, we don't repeat this mistake ( Sera said that in a cracked voice )

After saying that Arin go to his room, while walking he was shaking like he is going to fall down.

But somehow he get inside of his room and then opend the mini fridge then drank a full bottle of water.

At that the security guard asked Sera who is that person, but Sera told him it's non of his business and don't repeat the mistakes.

It's been almost 1 hour arin changed his dress and started to watch V Screen, he Sawa person making a small shelf using small wooden planks and nail gun.

" I need to make this, it's not important but somehow I think atleast i can make this thing and even turn this crafting thing a hobby "

After that he go out to buy the thing he need, on his way he passed by the small restaurant there the black and white fur kitten was sitting. He ran towards it and asked. " Where have you been, i looked everywhere "

Arin then said that kitten to wait here and he to the restaurant to buy a fish fry, this time he bought a large fish fry and gave it to the kitten.

The cat looked at him and slowly

Started to eat the fish, before finishing the fish he started to stare at Arin like it saw something lurking behind Arin.

When Arin turned his head the kitten started to sharpen it's claws where Arin was sitting, it was also scratching on air like playing.

" What are you doing kitty " Arin asked to that kitten but he only got a mewing in return.

Arin stand up and said wait here i will come back and bring you to where I'm staying.

He then put that kitten safely in a cardboard box and go to the shop where they sell wooden planks and nail guns. After buying that he then bought a small cage for that kitty from the pet store.

The time was almost way past 7 pm, when he looked at the kitty in the cardboard box he didn't saw that kitten, he then put cage down and started to look there carefully he even asked the restaurant owner if he saw that kitten. there is no use they didn't saw that kitten.

He decided to go back to his hotel room.

When he go back he passed by an alleyway, where he heard a kittens cry. He ran towards where he heard the cry.

For his surprise that was not a kitten insted that was a rat a big rat.

He backed down upon seeing that rat, suddenly dozens of rats came out of nowhere and passed by him.

" What the hell is happening? Where did this many rats came from "

At that Arin heard a growling noise from his behind. He looked back and saw a pair of glowing eyes.

Arin slowly stepped back, he was shaking in fear but even while he muttered. " Wh...who...who is there? Do... Don't sc..scare me like this "

There is no answer from the opposite side, suddenly that thing jumped at Arin and grabbed his leg.

Arin fell down and he dropped his nail gun and wooden planks.

The thing that grabbed arin's leg was a giant rat human. That thing is like werewolf but instead of wolf it was a wererat.

Its body was covered in fur and there is rotten smell coming from that thing.

Arin kicked that wererats head and tried to get away but that thing sunk it's claw in arin's leg.

* Aaaaaa * arin cried out loud and tried to get away by crawling but that wererat was pulling him towards it.

At that time Arin's hand got on something. It was the wooden plank that Arin bought.

He grabbed it and hit the rat with it.and made small gap between them at that time his eyes was searching something else.

Finally he found what he was looking it was the nail gun he bought along with the wooden planks.

He picked up the nail gun, at that time the wererat tried to bite him.

Arin began to shoot the nails. But the nails didn't hit the target how many times he tried.

Arin's eyes started to fill with tears he saw his entire life flashing before him.

Arin closed his eyes and continues to shoot every last nail that left on that nail gun.
