Gods not Spirits.

After the delegation, Toda told his party to train anyway they deem fit, he left the group, moving alone he remembers the advice Gaius gave on conversing with his spirit, he stumbles upon a lake, he remembers that his first encounter with a spirit started with a lake and if he could recreate the scenario he might be able to converse with one of his. He walks up to the lake draws his blade, cuts his hand and drops blood into the wave suddenly the echo of the blood drop could be heard repeatedly, he closes his eyes and just thought of spirits, he didn’t know what they looked like at first, he then thought on the shapes of the orbs that entered his being, he could differentiate magical waves by their colours thanks to his appraisal skill, he thought of the first two to emerge from the lake, a green and a red, immediately he had those thought, he could hear two voices, a male and a female, the female spoke.

“I have been summoned here by you.” Toda looked for who is talking, he couldn’t find anyone and then the voice spoke out, “How did i return, it’s not possible, Erasmus dealt with the whole God race, even the father of the runes was taken out, we all depleted our power in the mortal realm, all but Erasmus gave what they had, i remember been killed by him.” The voice said, Toda was confused until he could see an orb emerge from the lake, the orb had a green magical wave, he tried conversing with the personage, “excuse me, but could you by any chance be my appointed spirit.” The orb spoke out, “Child you can see me now, did you say spirit, what form is this, i have dropped from my grace.” Toda didn’t know how to reply, he was about to speak when he was interrupted, “I am the Dryad Goddess, Elvira, one of the big seven.” Toda was left stunned, “So, you’re saying.” Before Toda could finish he was interrupted again, “Yes, i am not a spirit.” Toda was left stunned, “why then are you here, the whispering lake only contacts gods.” The orb left the lake and asked Toda, “i don’t know what a whispering lake is but, i was killed, a very long time ago, as a god I’m supposed to stay dead until someone with immeasurable power awakens me for strength, but the sword you have there, i can see it’s made by the gods, that sword had a magic weaved from my power drawn to it, seems it was cast by someone, the used spell is a ‘dryads’ call’ type.” Toda remembers the training and words out, “Gaius.”

Before the two could wrap up there was another voice, “Is that you Elvira? you are back, wait back, how is that possible, is that ‘EROS’, it can’t be Chronos was bested by Erasmus!!.”Another orb could be seen emerge from the lake, a red one, Elvira spoke out of surprise, “i know that loud tone, Azur, is that you.” The replied confirming the hunch Elvira had, “but how, was your magic also requested.” The voice replied, “No, that there sword was crafted from my blood.” Toda feeling left out gave out a cough, “I like that you met again, but what i don’t get is, why am i summoning gods instead of spirits?” the other orb spoke, “i am Azur, God of Dragons and Lord of Flames, i was slain by the Father of Arcanes, Erasmus, but you revived me, the sword you used to impale yourself was forged from my blood, i was summon by you and so you can use me as you deem fit, but i have just one request, help us take down Erasmus.” After his plea Toda asked the two if their real form were orb like, they replied him saying, “as we are we have fallen from grace, it will require the magical essence of our followers to regain a mortal form.” Toda asked how much magic essence is needed, they told him enough to power a whole mortal, Toda smiled saying the limit for mortals was 10,000 worth magical essence but those who wield sacred arms are an exception, Toda then came up with the idea, “so you’re saying, all you need for your form to be complete is magical essence fit for an average human, if so i can come up with something else, what if i ready a date to fill you both with my magical essence, let’s say once in a year, I’m sure i have enough to spare.”

The gods were shocked at his proposal, they asked him why he’s doing it, he smiled and said, “who knows, i just might find out the reason i was summoned here, plus, I’m one of the seven heroes, whether i like it or not I’ll face this Erasmus god you’re obsessed with.” The gods looked stunned, “you aren’t from this world, that explains it.” After all the explanations, Toda started drawing out his magic, he gave the Dryad goddess first, he stretched his hands, “use basic skill—(LINK).” His magic started coming out, “use unique skill—(impact scale), Output—50%.” He change the atmosphere with his magic, it was so intense Audrey and the others felt it, he directs the magic to Elvira, she felt the immense power entering her, after 10mins Toda got a message, ‘your Mp has been depleted, you now have 3500 mp.’ Toda stopped gifting magic, “right on point” he did the same for Azur, after the depleting his mp he was left with 1000 mp, he felt dizzy and almost fainted, he later got himself, he notices the orbs expanding, they then seemed like they were materialising, the glow of the orbs then shattered and underneath were two beautiful personage with charms befitting gods, their form looked faded but they were still visible, they thanked Toda and gave their words that anytime he called on them they’ll be ready to assist, Hunter suddenly appeared where Toda was and the gods vanished, Toda turned to him, “Hunter, anything wrong?” Hunter stood with shock on his face, “No master, we felt an intense power rush and thought you were in danger, everyone the master is here.” After those words the rest of the team appeared with worry on their faces.
