Repeatedly, Daisuke parried and punched until the Alpha was weakened. The fallen Alpha sighed heavily while Daisuke stood above, panting.

Around them lay corpses of Beta werewolves from the Alpha's pack. The fight had cleared the surrounding forest. The injured Alpha still glared rebelliously, growling softly.

In an instant, Daisuke plunged his blades into the werewolf's chest and withdrew them, causing profuse bleeding. The Jinro writhed, clutching its throat on the ground.

Meanwhile, Daisuke's injuries began to heal, his breathing returning to normal. Within minutes, all signs of exhaustion vanished, and he felt as vital as when the mission began.

"Damn," he thought, "this is my eighth defeated Alpha. Hopefully, the last one."

Given the situation, I don't think it would be safe for either of us to stay in this village any longer, especially since we are the ones responsible for all of this," Aya expressed her concern."We could go to another town," Daisuke suggested."I haven't ventured beyond the forbidden territories that surround this land, so it's easy for you to say, considering you fell from the sky and supposedly wiped out a powerful race in a single night," Asuka responded skeptically."It's not as simple as it sounds," Daisuke defended himself.
