Chapter Fifty One: Something's Off

That afternoon a school bus bearing the 15 Science Class students of Grade 10 drove from the school, its destination being the haunted house in the woods outside of Crimson Springs. No art student had been chosen for the excursion. It was either they were too afraid or some other reason well-known to Pinmaker. As the school bus drove onto the highway the students chosen for the excursion couldn't help but begin to chat among themselves, wondering how the haunted house would look like. Miss Pinmaker who had also joined the excursion sat near the driver listening to their conversations with a complicated expression which no one could read.
