Chapter nine
"Killed me?" Maya askedDaxon grabs a hold of maya's neck and before she knew it he started choking her."Wh-what are you doing?" She manages to say."Do me a favour, say hello to my sister for me."With his other hand daxon put his hand in a shadow portal and brings out a knife.Maya struggles and tries to break free of his hold but daxon grip was just to strong for her to do so.He uses the knife and stabs her right in her heart.Maya starts coughing out blood as her eyes start rolling in the back of her head.A sick smile appeared on daxon face as he continues to choke her as her life slips away. Her eyes turn completely white as the life in her fades away.He threw her lifeless body on the floor as he stood up above her looking down with disgust on his face. His attention was quickly taken as there was a black hooded figure standing outside his window watching everything. Then before he could move the figure wasn't there again. He walks up to his window just to confirm but there was still no one there."Hmmm." He say as he shuts his window clip properly.*^^^*It was another morning for almiron and he was already up sitting on his bed.Not too long after his phone gets a couple of beeps before it finally rang. The call was coming from zayn, he grabbed his phone and answered the call and what he heard over the call completely broke his heart."W-What do you mean by shes dead." He asked with his voice trembling'I know this is hard for you to believe but they found her body on the streets and the authorities said she was stabbed to death.'"No..no." Almiron replied as tears started flowing down his face.'Look, I'm sorry but, its true. Shes gone. Theres nothing we can do. She was a dear friend of mine to and my heart is equally in pain ever since I found out.'There was no response from almiron as zayn could hear him grieving from the other side of the phone.'Almiron. If you need anything. You can call me, you don't have to face this alone, I'm just leaving the station for questioning I'll call you when I get home.'"Thanks Zayn." He replied as he hung up.Almiron looked at the phone and threw it across the room as it hit the wall.He then let's out a loud scream that could be heard all over the house before kneeling on the floor and continued cryingHis dad and a couple of maids quickly rushed in seeing almiron on the floor.Mr Jacob rushed towards his son and when he told him the news he gave almiron a consolation hug"Its ok." Mr jacob said to his son as he continued cryingAfter a couple of hours almiron calmed down and he was no longer crying.Mr jacob was still there with his son."Son. I understand your going through a lot of pain right now and I feel the same way, I'm also feeling a great amount of anger""I'm fine." Almiron interrupted him"Look its OK not to be fine""But I said I'm fine." Almiron said to him while getting up"I wanna wash up now, I need some time alone." He saidMr jacob just sighed before letting his son go to wash himself. When he left the room the maids had come in and was cleaning the floor."I'll pay for any damages." Almiron said as he walked towards the bathroom."Don't worry about that young master." Said one of the maids"We've done it before."Almiron smiled before heading into the bathroom and closed the door behind him. While in the bathroom he stood there in front of the mirror staring at his reflection with an angry face and all sauce of thoughts were flowing through his mind.He raised his left hand slightly while looking at his palm and stares back into the reflection of his eyes."I promise you this maya, I will find out who did this to you and I will have revenge." He says to himself as a dark aura starts forming around his hands. He then closes his hand into a fist and the dark aura disappears."I swear on it.""And if it's the last thing I do."*^^^*Later on almiron stepped out of the bathroom and immediately he heard a knock on his door.He walks over to open it finding one of the house maids there."Sorry to disturb you, but there's a detective in the living and he said he has some questions to ask u about Madam maya." She said with her head down.'That quick...' he thought to himselfHe let's out a small sigh and says."I'll soon be there."She excused herself and he slams the door shut.Moments later Almiron walks into the living and sighted his father having a chat with the detective. He then noticed that the detective handed a file to his dad and he knew that had to be maya’s fileAs soon as his father noticed him he immediately turns to the detective and says."I'll leave you two alone."He gets up and takes his leave while Almiron takes a seat."Hello Almiron, my name is detective lance. Im very sorry for your loss." He says"Thank you.""But im here to find out what happened. Can you tell me the last time you saw maya."" almost two days ago.""Where were you yesterday evening?""In school.""And after school?""I came straight home.""And no where else?""No.""What's up with all this weird questions, don't tell me you think I might have had something to do with the death of my cousin" He asked"Hmmm, in this world everyone is a suspect so you can't blame me.""Do you know anyone that might have had a problem with her?" He asked"No not at all.""And do yo-" He was interrupted by a call that came in"Give me a moment." He gets up and walks outside the front door. While the detective was on a call outside, almiron wondered who would want to kill maya because she was a very nice person and her personality was loved by all her friends. He asked himself if he knew anyone making an enemy of her but unfortunately she never mentioned any thing like that to him."I need to find out as soon as possible." He says to himself as he raises his palm and stares at it.Immediately a thought entered his head, he then remembered that he had previously raised a bird from the dead before.'What if I try raising her from the dead to find out everything I need to know?..'He thought to himself.Yes almiron had tried raising a bird from the dead before and it worked out perfectly even though the bird had lost its soul and was fully under the control of its new master almiron, raising a human would be more difficult than raising an animal.Humans tends to have more spiritual energy than that of an animal so it will take alot out of him to do so.Would he be able to do it?...That thought went on and on in his head for a while."I still have to try." He said to himselfImmediately he got up and decided to head over to the hospital that was holding maya’s body. The detective walked in and said"Are u going somewhere?""What if I am." He replied"Well I'll be back to ask more questions, right now I have something important to take care of." He saidHe starred at almiron a bit in the eye before saying."I'll see you soon."Almiron just starred back as he watched the detective take his leave."I don't have much time." He saidAfter the detective had left, almiron left the living room and went up to his dad room."I'm sure my father has her file and he must know where they took her."And indeed his father had her file as the detective had given him when he came over.Almiron grabbed her file and quickly opened it up."Let's see where you are.""Ah. Here it is. She's in the royal hospital.”He closes the file and puts it back in place.Almiron leaves the room and goes to his dad office."Hey dad.""What is it." He replied as he looks up from his work."I want to visit maya and say my last goodbyes.""Well. The detective just came and told me the same thing, its fine, but be careful when going.""I will." He saidAlmiron turned to leave"Oh and also make sure not to take anything, and be sure not to touch her."Almiron didn't respond as he closed the door behind him and went back into his room."Be sure not to touch her, huh..""Yeah. As if.." he said."I'm not gonna let you stay there in the morgue forever, let's just hope that there ain't any cops guarding you and preventing me from entering.""I'll see you soon." He said as he put on his shoes and walked out.As he got downstairs a maid called out to him"Young master, are you leaving already, do you need a driver?""No I don't, I'll drive myself."He leaves his house as he drives out of his gate with one goal in his mind which is to find out who killed his cousin.^___^Almiron gets to the hospital and walks straight to the receptionist and spoke with herThen a nurse took him over to where maya body was kept and he says."Yes that's her."He touches her cheek and immediately noticed how cold and lifeless she felt, and another thing he didn’t fail to noticed was the hand bruise on her neck signifying that whoever killed her must have choked her to death. After seeing this his heart became heavy as he starred at her lifeless body.He quickly turned to the nurse and asked her if she can give him a moment."Sure but don't take too long." The nurse said then walked out of the roomHe followed her from behind and locked the door then walked back to where maya was and said..........Chapter ten“I am so deeply sorry about what am about to do to you, I hope where ever you are you can forgive me.” He says to mayas lifeless body After saying that Almiron immediately puts his big thumb in his mouth then cuts himself open with his teeth. He then draws the fleur de lis symbol on the side of the young girls head which is where the brain is at.This will let him gain access to all of mayas memories and even her thoughts. After drawing it he starts mumbling and ancient resurrection spell as he called upon the forces of death to answer his call.“Gal ada mu ra luta.” While mumbling the spell this drew the attention of the undead.Spirits that were wondering around here on earth began to gather around him.A dark aura suddenly surrounded him as his eyes began to glow green.“Maya,” Almiron whispered, his voice barely more than a breath. “Can you hear me?”Then it happened Maya’s eyes sprung wide open as she started breathing again.Though she was able to move and she was
Chapter eleven Almiron made his way to the university cafeteria, his heart still racing from the encounter with Daxon. He needed to talk to Zayn, to explain everything that had happened and prepare him for the dangers that lay ahead. As he entered the bustling cafeteria, he spotted Zayn sitting at a table near the window, nursing a cup of coffee. Almiron hurried over, his mind racing with thoughts of how to broach the subject.“Hey, Zayn,” Almiron greeted him, sliding into the seat opposite. “Thanks for meeting me.”Zayn looked up, a puzzled expression on his face. “No problem, man. What’s up? You seem kinda on edge.”Almiron took a deep breath, steeling himself for what he was about to say. “Zayn, there’s something I need to tell you. It’s... it’s going to sound crazy, but please hear me out.”Zayn raised an eyebrow, his curiosity piqued. “Okay, shoot. What’s going on?”Almiron glanced around to make sure no one was listening before leaning in closer. “Last night, I raised Maya fr
Chapter twelve Zayn’s words lingered in Almiron’s mind as they left the university, the weight of their conversation heavy on his shoulders. He knew that if he wanted to stand a chance against Daxon, he needed to get better with his powers, to hone his skills until he could wield them with precision and control. As they walked through the streets, Zayn suddenly stopped and turned to Almiron, a determined look in his eyes.“I have an idea,” Zayn said, his voice filled with conviction. “If you want to beat Daxon, you need to get better with your powers. And I think I know just the place to train.”Almiron raised an eyebrow, intrigued by Zayn’s suggestion. “Where?”Zayn grinned mischievously. “The graveyard.”Almiron’s eyes widened in surprise. “The graveyard? Why there?”Zayn shrugged. “Think about it, Almiron. The graveyard is filled with death and darkness, the perfect environment for you to practice your necromancy. Plus, it’s away from prying eyes, so we won’t have to worry about
Chapter thirteen As Almiron woke up and got ready for another day at campus, he exchanged a warm greeting with his father before heading out the door. The morning sun cast a golden glow over the sprawling mansion as Almiron stepped outside, breathing in the crisp air of the new day.“Good morning, Father,” Almiron said with a smile as he passed by his father’s study.“Good morning, Almiron. Have a great day at campus,” his father replied, returning the smile.Almiron nodded, his mind already focused on the day ahead. He made his way to the waiting car, where his driver stood by the open door, ready to escort him to campus.“Good morning young master,” the driver greeted him with a nod.“Morning,” Almiron replied, sliding into the backseat of the luxurious car.“Campus, please,” he instructed the driver, settling back into his seat as the car pulled away from the mansion and onto the familiar streets of the city.As Almiron settled into the plush seat of his father’s luxurious car,
Chapter fourteen Just as the masked sniper left.Almiron staggered back to his mansion, his body aching from the wounds inflicted by Daxon’s dark shadows. His father rushed to his side, concern etched on his face as he took in Almiron’s injuries.“Almiron, what happened? Are you alright?” his father exclaimed, his voice filled with worry.Almiron forced a weak smile, trying to mask the pain that coursed through his body. “I’m fine, Father,” he replied, his voice strained. “It’s just a scratch. There was an incident with our driver. He was shot, and I got a few bruises in the process.”His father’s eyes widened with alarm. “Shot? Is he alright? And who would do such a thing?”Almiron nodded, weaving a convincing tale to explain away his injuries. “ Unfortunately he didn’t make it. As for who did it, I’m not sure. It happened so suddenly.”His father’s concern deepened, but he nodded in understanding. “Well, I’m just glad you’re safe, Almiron. We’ll get to the bottom of this.”Almir
Chapter fifteen It’s been almost a week since daxon died and Almiron had fully recovered from the bruises and wounds.Even though he still remembers every single event that happened that day Almiron tries he’s best to keep his mind off it. As Calvin turned to leave, a sense of déjà vu washed over Almiron. He remembered a similar encounter with Daxon, how their initial friction had escalated into a deadly rivalry. Determined not to repeat the same mistakes, Almiron took a deep breath and made a decision.“Hey, Calvin, wait up,” Almiron called out, his voice surprisingly calm.Calvin paused, turning back to look at Almiron with a raised eyebrow. “What’s up?” he asked, his tone cautious.Almiron stepped forward, extending his hand in a gesture of goodwill. “Listen, I know things got off to a rough start just now, but I don’t want any bad blood between us. Let’s start over, alright?”Calvin’s expression softened, a hint of surprise flickering in his eyes. Slowly, he reached out and
Chapter sixteen. As Almiron and Zayn entered the bustling cafeteria of the university, they couldn’t help but notice the familiar figure of Calvin and his group, the Eradicators, seated at a nearby table. The atmosphere in the cafeteria shifted subtly as their presence was felt, a tense undercurrent running through the air.Almiron and Zayn exchanged wary glances as they made their way towards an empty table, keeping a cautious eye on Calvin and his team. They knew that any interaction with the Eradicators could quickly escalate into conflict, and they wanted to avoid that at all costs. As Zayn was about to speak, his attention was suddenly captured by the arrival of a stunning new student. Jessica Jones, a recent transfer, entered the cafeteria, her presence drawing the eyes of everyone around her.Almiron couldn’t help but be captivated by Jessica’s beauty and poise as she made her way through the room. Her confidence was evident in every step she took, and Almiron found himself u
Chapter seventeen Two years ago, Calvin walked into a room where all four members of his team were seated, waiting for him. Their commandant stood at the head of the room, a stern expression on his face as he introduced everyone.“Calvin, meet your team,” the commandant said, gesturing to the individuals seated around the table. “This is Sarah, Marcus, Elena, and David.”Calvin nodded in acknowledgment, his eyes scanning each member of the team as he took in their expressions. He could tell that they were all highly trained and experienced, and he felt a surge of determination to lead them to success.“Sarah here is our expert in surveillance and reconnaissance,” the commandant continued, indicating the woman seated to his right. “Marcus is our weapons specialist, Elena specializes in hand-to-hand combat, and David is our tech expert.”Calvin nodded in turn to each member of the team, committing their names and specialties to memory. He knew that he had big shoes to fill as their n
