A couple hours passed without any real activity, which was a rare occurrence for the group. Everyone seemed to be lost in their own thoughts, trying to figure out what would happen next. After an hour Michael decided it was time to leave.“Alright, we should probably get going soon. If mom sees us in here she's gonna get worried” he said, standing upZack nodded in agreement and grabbed his backpack, following Michael outside. limp body in his arms and carried it to the hallway where they had been staying.Michael let out a scream of frustration as he watched helplessly as the other boy carried Jenna. He immediately rushed forward, trying to get rid of the older boy before he hurt her even more. But the boy managed to get past him, running out of the school premises. Michael sighed deeply and ran his hand through his hair, feeling frustrated, anxious and worried about Jenna. Why would this happen? Did she do something to deserve that? Or was it just her luck to end up getting involved with these bullies? All these questions kept circling inside of his mind relentlessly.Suddenly the older boy stopped running. Michael almost slammed into him as he did, only managing to avoid bumping into him by the last second. His face was completely unreadable, except for his cold blue eyes, as the other two boys turned around to look at Michael and Jeremy, who were frozen in shock.“What the hell are you kids looking at?”

He could feel his own heartbeat pounding inside his chest, as he wondered how everything got to this point, and where did all of this even come from. Everything was so sudden. And scary. And painful. Did somebody really hate Jenna as much as they say? And why was she involved anyways? Why was the person targeting her? Was this some elaborate plan to get revenge for something? Jeremy felt himself getting confused again, which wasn't very often these days.Jeremy sighed and put the frame back on the table before walking upstairs and entering his room. As soon as he entered he threw himself onto his bed, pulling the covers over his body as he let out a sigh. For some unknown reason he suddenly began to feel extremely tired. It's not like he was exhausted, he didn't sleep well the night before because of his nightmare, and although the events that took place were horrible, they were nowhere near enough to drain him completely. The church bell rang loudly with the pitch shaking off debris across every piece of furniture, a man dressed in a black hat and a long black dress stood up while facing a stone carved in the shape of a cross. “Father I thank you for giving me another grace to witness a bloody new day" he whispered with his eyes closed and arms held out wide as if praying for the last few seconds that would lead up to him finally finding peace. He slowly opened his eyes. The sun was already down below the horizon, and suddenly the church bell began to ring louder, drawing attention to the growling coming from the doorstep. “Amen," he ended his prayer while removing his two pistols from their hostler tied around his waist before turning around. The zombies rushed towards him with the urge for his blood, but the man seemed determined not to let them through. The next morning Roy wakes up from bed feeling normal, strong, and healthy. He walks out of the tent only to see several soldiers and officers walking around the area. They were dressed in uniforms, and all seemed very busy.Roy notices a woman standing near the tent. She is talking animatedly to someone who is standing behind a wooden bench. As he gets closer he recognizes the woman. She’s wearing a blue dress, and she’s chatting away with one of the guards in Arabic, both of them laughing together while pointing to something in their hands. One of the guards places a hand on the woman’s hip, and they share another laugh while leaning into each other's embrace and resting against each other for a short moment, which ends in them embracing fully. Roy looks at them for a second before turning back towards his destination.
