Chapter Five- The principal's Speech

Min was woken up by a bird, a cute little bluebird perched on her head, being a very sensitive person, she stirred at the bed and glanced at the little thing, smiled at it a bit and slept back in,

Until the supposed 'cute' thing screamed with a human deep but loud bass voice into her ear, you heard right--

A HUMAN. BASS. VOICE.

Min was shocked shitless and she rolled out of bed in a fit of surprise and slammed face down but the bird ignored her and flew away after getting its job done.

'Fuck me, what a heartless bird, not even a sorry'

After getting up and grumbling, she threw on a shirt and trousers, took a chocolate bar from the many Dong bought for her in bulk and left her room only to be stopped by that grumpy aunty..., what was the name?, hm, seems I've forgotten.

"Go wear something formal from your wardrobe, throw away that bar and come eat" Mrs. kyu said

Min stared at her for quite some time before answering "Yes ma"

"Address me as Mrs. Kyu, okay?"

"Okay, Mrs. kyu"

Min entered her room and opened the wardrobe and was thoroughly blinded

'What is this? red, red, red and red, nothing else but red!, gowns, skirts, leggings, all girly stuff, seriously?!, I like red but WTF?!'

Min barely managed a short dress with a hose and topped it with some flats (also red) to please the grumpy aunty, looking at herself clothed with all red in the mirror she looked like some assassin, even more like some vampire except that the fangs and red eyes were missing .

She sighed, packed her hair (which reached her waist) in a loose bun and left to the dining room.

Mrs. Kyu looked pleased and ordered her to sit down, which she did and they ate dinner together.

Dinner was good, no... simply amazing!

The meal consisted of tempura, sashimi, pickles rice and miso soup, a true delicacy.

Min was really enjoying the food and wondered if Mrs. kyu cooked it.

It had everything in the right proportions and it was very delicious

‘The miso soup has a lot of tofu and veggies, although not too much and this rice, the amount of salt in it is just right, mine always had a problem of not enough salt'.

'This food is sooo good and very satisfying, I CAME TO THE RIGHT SCHOOL'

Min didn't exactly have bad eating manners but one thing was that her order of eating was a bit special,

She ate hazardously not caring which was the main one or the side dish, anyone she felt like or was within her reach she stuffed into her mouth.

Mrs. Kyu watched all this, bemused.

'Her etiquette is zero, guess I have to teach her that; although it's kinda cute seeing her stuff her mouth up like a hamster, so different from saro-chan but quite unique in her own way'

"What is your name again?" Mrs. Kyu asked casually while placing some more rice for min

"Dabin Min" min answered pleasantly surprised by her nice gesture even after her attitude last night

"Age?"

"15"

"Best color?"

"Spring Green"

"I guess I have to change your wardrobe and foot wears hm"

'You bet aunty' Min thought

"All green, or all varieties?"

"I'll l to go with variety with additions of a few trousers"

"Okay, but you're allowed to only wear it out of school activities, you can only appear formal in all school activities"

"Yes Mrs. kyu"

They ate while Mrs. Kyu explained some school rules to Min.

After eating Mrs. Kyu gave Min a phone (Since Min's own stopped working when she arrived at the school, for some reason) which Min thanked her for.

She escorted Min to the arena for the assembly but left a few meters before reaching the assembly to avoid any 'inconvenience'.

The arena was at the castle's huge hall which only took a while to reach (since they also live inside the castle).

"If you need anything, you call me, okay?"

"Yes, Mrs. kyu"

Mrs. Kyu left and Min sat down, crossed her legs and listened to music with her headphones, she didn't notice the 'unique' stares she got.

A girl approached her and tapped her prompting her to pause her music and take of her headphones

"Yes?" Min asked sizing her up lazily which seemed to annoy the girl off since she visibly frowned

'Seems like the spoilt brat type, huh?' Min thought

"Where did you get these clothes from?"

"Why should I tell you?"

"'Cause I asked you?" She replied arrogantly

Min's mischievous side that had since been dormant since she arrived at this strange new environment started tingling and her former passive look morphed to her signature smirk which screamed trouble

The girl: I suddenly feel chills...

"But I don't wanna answer you" she said with a nonchalant look

Looking at min smiling at her like she was some little kid throwing a tantrum, the girl finally lost what she wasn't even holding before

"LISTEN OUTSIDER! THIS IS SARO-SENPAI'S CLOTH THAT MRS. KYU NEVER GAVE ANYONE, WHY ARE YOU WEARING IT?!"

Since her voice was very loud, people started gathering, a black haired guy seemed to be approaching the girl to calm her down and was a little sympathetic for the cute looking outsider girl who seemed to have the same taste as saro,

Who the girl literally worshiped, he would have never expected the cutie to bluntly say--

"I stole it."

The boy:  eh?

Even the girl was stunned but this outsider didn't stop courting death because she continued-

"What are you going to do about it?"

Min threw the sentence along with the provocative smile on her lips.

As if it couldn't be worse, someone said in a low tone

"Burn~~"

The black haired guy didn't know when he stifled a laugh, followed by the crowd that burst out laughing, the girl was so embarrassed that she flushed red,

Annoyed she grasped min's collar and pulled her but min just kept smirking at her, the girl was debating to slap the stupid smirk off her face when a ruby eyed girl with black hair stopped her.

"Condole yourself Hwa-young, this is not time for fighting"

Hwa-young sneered and finally let go of min's collar, glared at her before glaring at this annoying cousin of hers,

Leaving with the black haired boy, she grabbed his hand and pulled him along,

The boy stared at min one last time then merely glanced at the ruby eyed girl before he got completely dragged off.

The ruby eyed girl looked at min and warned-

"You shouldn't play with fire"

"But it's my favorite sport" Min replied while fixing her cloth and then looked up at the girl with a smirk

The ruby eyed girl stared at her for a while before saying "You're bold and I like it but that doesn't mean I like you though",

She gave Min a small smile and left.

As soon as the ruby eyed girl left, min put on her headphones and played her song, ignoring the crowd, even the former passive face she had was restored, if not for her slightly ruffled clothes, what happened would seem like a dream.

It was like the min from the argument and the one listening to music was absolutely different. Some people from the crowd already took note of her without her knowledge,

Min didn't even know she had become somewhat popular because of the small play she put up today.

Minutes later a feminine looking man with medium-length azure hair and peach blossom azure eyes appeared on the platform with a bunch of senior students.

He stood on the podium, stared at the soon to be students chattering excitedly, a transparent azure magical energy appeared on his finger which he then tapped on the microphone.

After this was completed he took the microphone and shouted

"HELLO~!"

His voice was reverberating in everyone's ear even min who had a headphone on. This definitely got nearly everyone's attention and he seemed pleased with it.

After looking around for a while he started,

"Welcome nobles and outsiders to ITSUKI MAGIC ACADEMY, I am your principal and am known as Mr. Yoshikazu Itsuki but you can also call me Mr. Yoshikazu Gushiken (his husband's name), we apologize deeply to the Outsiders for all inconveniencies we've caused you and we hope to do all our best to make up for it"

"I'm guessing the outsiders have a lot of questions as to why they are here, there are a few reasons we decided to collaborate with earth's government to get you here and I'll mention a few, but before that it should be noted that you earthlings are now in another dimension where magical planets exist called 'The Magic Plane', and the planet you're in is one of the safest there is and it is named Asergeth—Magical earth…."

(Crowd Murmurs)

"In continuation, the reasons you were brought here is due to the fact that you have magic in you in the form of magical energy which even though amazing could turn detrimental at any time due to certain incidences;

Magical energy normally stays dormant in a person before being awakened by Spiritual or Soul energy, this energy is found in all magical planets although in many forms, it's basically exists like how oxygen does on earth and only on the magical plane although in some rare cases, traces are found in the normal plane due to various reasons like:

Powerful magical outburst leaving behind traces of soul energy, Magical items containing spiritual energy somehow appearing there et cetera. If by chance magical energy is awakened by mistake without ways to control it, not only can it endanger someone's life, it can also cause disasters on earth.

A most recent case is of a girl awakening the fire element and burning down her family's home, killing all her family members except from herself as she was the one using the power.

(Crowd gasps and shakes heads with folded arms).

In endangering someone's life, magical energy can do that when: One- When your power doesn't discriminate and can hurt its user and Two- The use of power without refilling spiritual energy naturally.

A life example in the first issue is of a boy losing his sanity due to the inability to control his psychic powers which awakened by chance.

For the second one, the use of Magic without spiritual energy is impossible, but what about those using their power without spiritual energy?

In reality, they use spiritual energy which is also soul energy, which means they use their soul energy but since there isn't any spirituality to refill it, it keeps on draining along with their life without their knowledge.

You ask why? Simple logistics, soul energy equals life energy, it's like an equation, Spiritual energy equals Soul energy which equals Life energy and that is the years of our life. This is what magic energy uses when magical energy isn't gotten naturally

Now the your consent wasn't asked, was to prevent you from doing anything stupid beforehand, like trying to forcefully awaken your powers or telling people....

It is also important to note that you can call your loved ones on earth but you'll also be given a new phone since your old phone can't communicate from one dimension to another and also to monitor your conversations so as to prevent you from spilling anything,

Please do not misunderstand, although it might be like an inversion of privacy, but it's for important reasons.

We again humbly apologize for all disturbance caused by us, we also promise to protect you from the dangers of this planet since we are the ones who brought you here. Thank you.

Continuing, some of you will criticize my explanation basing that it perspectisized itself in a way that this was done only for your own good, but to avoid being hypocritical, it is only right to tell you what we get out of this;

In exchange of our protection and care we beseech you that you try your best to improve your magic capability as we really are in need of young mages for various reasons, which will be told on later dates.

Books will be given to both Outsiders and nobles explaining everything you need to know about both the 'Magic plane', Asergeth, and this very school.

Now, as I step down, I'll call on the school prefect, Akemi Abe, to introduce themselves as they are to guide you during your various activities in this school.

As the principal stepped down from the podium, the crowd was clapping, cheering and jeering at him but finally calmed down when a new person took the stage.

A girl with peach colored hair and golden eyes came on stage and started her speech

"Hello everyone, we welcome you to a great high school life here in ITSUKI.

We are the regulators of this school and even though there are only eight of us, don't look down on us because we still do our jobs to the full extent.

If you're in a case of bullying, whether noble or outsider, we can help you take care of it, and have in mind that our punishments aren't light.

So please let all nobles and outsiders try their best to live in the spirit of harmony no matter how not compatible you are with the other person… (Creepy smile) or we'll have to force you....

(Half of crowd shivers),

We promise our best to make the school environment a harmonious place for both nobles and outsiders,

To join our club you have to at least be a Powerful Level C ability user and above.

My name is Akemi Abe and I'm the School prefect of ITSUKI ACADEMY and also the head of the regulators, I'll now call on my co-members to introduce themselves" she concluded

Gives a ruby haired and blue eyed girl-

"My name is Ichiki Chikasa and I'm the one you meet with me if you want us to take care of an issue for you, I hope we can get along well"

"My name is Radian Eguchi and I take the smacking down offenders, be careful 'cause I'm not merciful~.

(Gives a cheeky smile) I wish you a happy school life"

A violet haired boy with purple eyes said and most of the girls squealed since he was very good looking and looked hot when he smiled playfully but you would notice his eyes weren't as playful or joking as his smile if you looked close enough.

"Name is Satoshi Furukawa, I'm the club's adviser and akemi's assistant"

A black haired boy with glasses that was handsome with a Cold C.E.O demeanor said which got more girls squealing and he frowned at that although not visibly

And so they all went along introducing themselves:

Haruk Diago (spiky hair and brown eyes (assistant of smacking down offenders- male)), Sakura Hagihara (blonde long hair with green eyes (Secretary)- female) and Yiu Hamaguchi (Dark blue short hair and black eyes (assistant secretary)- female).

After the speech, the crowd was dismissed and the principal left, with the other regulators leaving only Akemi and Satoshi who was supervising students tidying the hall.

"Any senior student huh? What about Kaoru?"

"She might be special but she's no trouble"

"And what if she decides to?"

"We've discussed this satoshi and I've told you, kaoru might be troublesome but she's not the type to abuse her power because she can, she might be all naughty but she's a real cinnamon roll when you get to know her. Speaking of which here she comes"

A girl with messy short black hair and forest green almond shaped eyes with a wicked smile on her thin blood red lips giving her a certain gorgeousness,

Approach them with two roses in hand, a dark blue and a pink colored rose.

"For you akemi (Gives her the pink one) and for you satoshi (Gives him the blue one)"

Satoshi was reluctant to take the flower because he had a bad feeling about it but after akemi gave him a look,

He took it, as he was about to stuff it into his pocket when kaoru insisted they sniffed it with an even more wicked smile than before,

The feeling Satoshi had intensified and he wanted to kindly reject her...

But Akemi JUST had to sniff hers...

"It gives off a heavy floral but calming scent, is it a 'Breezeful Rose'?"

"Yeah, I thought you guys will need it after such a stressful day"

Akemi 'Awwed' and gave satoshi a look that literally screamed

'See!, a cinnamon roll'

Which blocked him of all chances of rejection,

Therefore he very reluctantly smelled the flower but contrary to expected, when he did, his hair stood up straight as if gelled thickly and all his face became very red.

Knowing he had been pranked he glared hard at kaoru annoyed before storming off, but of course that couldn't stop kaoru from throwing at him what she came for in the first place

"Oh! And am not a bully okay?! I only bully idiots like you! hmph!"

She then turned to face akemi who was glaring at her

"You knew he was allergic to that and that his allergies last for at least a week and at worst three weeks, yet you still gave him A 'Sting O' flames' rose, now who's gonna assist me? Did you think up to that stage?"

"Ah~, Sorry I'll go call one of your members for you…"

"They are all busy!"

"Oh…, well sorry,  I think... I should be leaving…"

"Don't you dare young lady or your mum is gonna be hearing how you 'STUDIED' well and passed your exams 'FAITHFULLY'"

"That's not fair akemi, you promised not to tell!" QAQ

"That was until you KOED! My assistant left more work for me but don't worry…"

Gives kaoru a onceover "You'll do".

"NO~~~~~!"

Akemi dragged a struggling kaoru away without care and thus kaoru paid heavily for her naughtiness by slaving off doing paperwork while regretting not pranking that idiot secretly or something.
