Chapter Four- That girl and her flames

Mrs. Kyu Yoong stared down at the little kid standing in front of her, looking with glittering eyes showing unbridled excitement and unexpectedly remembered her.

That girl was brazen, she was bold and fierce,

That girl gazed at her with eyes so fierce, with those phoenix-like eyes that her want to challenge her was ignited,

because her whole being had one question, would her eyes still hold the same fire when beaten?

That girl wasn't just an expert when using her flames, she was one with her flames, the heat from her flames scorched the lands and devoured all who came her way.

Even her enemies couldn't deny her flames were out-worldly, so erringly beautiful you couldn't take off your eyes even if they dried right up.

That girl who would let her flames burn her soul as far as she could keep and control it, the same girl died at the hands of her own flames to save the ones she loved.

'Now within myself I contemplate,

That girl whose eyes was phoenix-like, fierce like flames and screamed at you to prostrate in complete submission,

How did I see her eyes in this kid with round cute eyes, with a look of innocence mixed with a bit of childish mischievousness and screamed naivety of one who hasn't been tainted with filth of the world?'

Nevertheless that is not worth consideration because even if it's a hallucination I will guide this kid with my every being, the mistake I made with that girl I won't do the same again.

Saro-chan, i wonder how you're related to this kid,

Could it be you have given me a second chanc....e?

Then I'm very grateful if not for anything then maybe because out of them all I am the one who deserved it the least.'

Min had been standing in front of and staring at this stern aunty with pale skin, short bob icy blue hair and eyes for quite some time and was already tired of staring back at her eyes.

She couldn't help but admire the almond shaped blue eyes of hers which were very beautiful with a sense of familiarity....

'Hmm? familiar? I have a very good memory although it turns to a chicken's own when it comes to remembering people's names and faces especially name,

I had to go through a lot with dong and claire's name from before I completely remembered and I've already forgotten almost all my classmates names even though I just graduated,

Apart from that, isn't she from the magic world, so where have I seen her?'

"I'll take this kid, okay?"

The brunette who started feeling like she was turning into background decoration: ...phew, I thought I was gonna end up like those guys.

"Yes ma'am, Dabin Min, this is your new guardian, come along so I'll show you your room, you need to rest for tonight's speech and it's going to last till sunrise, I'll take my lea..."

"No" Mrs. kyu interrupted "she'll be living at my house"

The brunette was stunned that the strict and ice cold Mrs. kyu who adamantly refused to accept anyone as her personal disciple after what happened with that girl happened.....,

Anyways out of all groups it was an 'Outsider'?!

'What sort of luck does this kid have? (glances at min)'

Out of her shock the brunette was a bit frozen until Mrs. Kyu's impatient and loud voice broke her out of her trance.

"Why are you still hesitating?!"

"Sorry ma'am!"

The brunette speedily took min who was as confused as heck to her new home.

After they left, Mrs. kyu sat down, then frowned deeply while she muttered to herself

"Have I been so affected that I now do without thinking or is it old age? aye! I hope I don't regret taking this kid in"

Has my sister finally lost it?!, doesn't she know the nobles she refused to take in will bully the kid, even if she likes her, can't she be low key, sister,

The principal who had been blabbing due to sheer frustration finally looked at the brunette before his eyes

Principal: ...you're still here?

Brunette: You haven't dismissed me sir! QAQ

"You may take your leave and try to help that kid so to prevent the nobles from bullying her"

*Murmurs* 'Although yoong-ane should have thought about this and is probably handling it'

"Well bye, I'll visit Mrs. kyu myself''

"Yes sir!"

Few minutes later

"What do you mean to remind you of saro?! Is this some romance cliche where you're all like, time paused and I couldn't think of...."

"Okay enough, you really should cut down on those stupid romance movie you're always watching ya know? calm down I took her in and I'll take care of her, I took her in, I can always throw her out"

"That's just plain heartless!"

"So what should I do brother? Yes? Really, because of this your annoying attitude (plus your looks), people always mistake who's the female and who's the male between us, to worsen matters not only are we twins you even married a guy"

"You're going off track, oneesan!"

The principal took a deep breath to calm himself, this sister of his was really....!

"Forget it, just be prepared to take care of what you started and... AT LEAST AM NOT A SINGLE DOG LIKE A CERTAIN SOMEONE!"

Min lay down on the soft king-sized bed given to her and felt life couldn't be any better, she wondered whether food will be served after siesta.

'I hope so 'cause I can't handle all those crowd in the assembly with an empty stomach, the annoyance of having to endure an empty stomach and the annoying buzzing of others is more than enough to make anyone go crazy'

Min yawned and slept off nuzzling into the soft bed and warm blanket. Few minutes later after she had slept in, a shadow emerged and stared right at her.

"In what way did I see saro-chan in this kid? saro is always guarded in her sleep while this one sleeps like a log "

*Grunts annoyingly* and leaves.

Min the log: Saro? I wonder who that is, zzzzz....
