Chapter Seventeen- Kaoru’s perverted brother?

Min’s eyes were thumping like crazy and she had to stop doing what she was doing for a moment and knead her eyes to ease the pain. She looked for kaoru a bit and found her snoring while drooling on a bunch of documents scattered on the table.

She sighed, picking kaoru up she laid her down on a sofa, pecked her forehead and whispered a ‘Goodnight’ to her,

Hey don’t misunderstand, she was never this kind to anyone but Dong and Claire, but there was something about kaoru that made her want to treat her kindly, the sisterly way.

She sighed again, she had been doing that a lot these days, being the head of the regulators was NOT easy, she was starting to wonder how Akemi could do all this but still handle the stress of being a second –year.

‘I had that the second-years have it really hard as this is the year where everything gets serious, that girl sure is a monstrous workaholic,

Thinking about it, I finally see why Mrs. Kyu only gave me a one month requirement in being a temporary regulator. She wanted me to suffer and arrange this event, huh?I see, Her punishment is so… MEAN’

It’s been three weeks since the new regulators got down to business, they were very efficient, as a secret informant Margarita wasn’t wearing a badge, she kept hers hidden and managed to blend in perfectly with the crowd,

Since her purple hair was a bit too noticeable, she always wore a black wig when she was out to gather information.

Ha-neul as a researcher didn’t do much work, only a few things, like researching a student’s background e.t.c and she was surprisingly great at it.

Asahi and Aki weren’t for play, despite that cute look of Aki, one thing was sure, his strength was no joke, as the regulators, while others had no rights to use their powers, they did but for only the job.

Rowan was great at calculation, even a single mistake wasn’t found in his calculations and he was transparent.

Kaoru as the assistant had a lot of work second to min, she handled complaints, punishments, requests passed through her and could be signed if min’s attention wasn’t necessary and other things.

While min had the most work as the head, Signing documents, Meeting the principal for permission in certain students request, Calling on meetings for the club, Reporting some cases needed to handle by the upper heads and the rest of them,

By the time she did this along with school for Three weeks, her eyes had dark circles around them and she had to use points to buy ‘A skin nourishing’ ointment from the system.

Everything was great and the people who had underestimated and mocked them were severely slapped, the former regulators who knew how hard it was handling the club were very impressed and had to agree that they had underestimated Min.

Min being the mature girl she accepted their ‘Praises’ with a straight face and ‘modest’ smirk.

But life was a bitch and if there was good luck, there was bad luck.

Min wasn’t given the chance to act smug for long before fate slapped the smugness off,

One day, the principal came to their office with a professional smile that screamed trouble (more work).

“Review this document min” Mr. Yoshikazu said still holding his smile

Min with a suspicious look did just that and was stunned.

“You want US to make preparations for ‘Special Visitors’ that are coming for investigation?! Isn’t that the Student council’s job?!” Min yelled out in shock while still on her seat and squeezing hard on the document.

‘Looking the former calm girl becoming like this…., ah~, Stress does change someone~’

“Don’t forget student min, YOU ARE TALKING TO THE PRINCIPAL” Mr. Yoshikazu harshly reprimanded min with a stern look on his face.

Min’s eyes widened as she realized she had once again forgotten her manners and she weakly apologized while dropping the files, stress wasn’t really good for her nerves, AT ALL.

“It’s alright, I understand that this is your first time doing all this and it’s understandable that the stress will make you a bit… out of it, nevertheless, I’ll like you to know that the ‘Regulators’ are actually the student council” Mr. Yoshikazu said while straightening out the paper Min had just rumpled with a slight frown.

Min’s world started spinning and question marks appeared all around her head…

‘Student council? Is the regulator club? That makes sense, then, now… AM THE SCHOOL PREFECT?!’

“You looked shocked, you didn’t know? And here I thought you were smart” Mr. Yoshikazu said with a teasing smile playing on his face.

The statement stabbed min’s head and she finally realized why many people didn’t like their boss at work, they could insult you and all you could do was lower your head and grit your teeth in annoyance…

‘I’m not God okay?! Am still human! and with all these piles of work, what time do I have to consider that?!’

Mr. Yoshikazu was really enjoying bullying min, bringing down someone from his/her high and mighty seat to being his worker, ah, feeling so refreshed~.

And so Mr. Yoshikazu dumped all this work on Min and the regulators.

PRESENT…..

Min was drooling on the floor with an upturned butt and ruffled documents as a pillow while sleeping. Kaoru wasn’t any better, she was snoring with a wide open mouth with her upper body on the floor and her lower body on the ground.

Ha-Neul slammed the door open with a bunch of documents and aki beside her while shouting in excitement—

“Prefect, I’ve found it!”

Min who was dreaming about God knows what while drooling jumped right up and made a fighting pose with drowsy looking eyes as she was very guarded when sleeping, while due to the loudness of the door kaoru was startled in her sleep which made her land on the floor with a ‘Bam!’ her head taking the worst impact.

Min woke up with a dazed face while muttering-

“Eh? Shai? System?... the cake…??”

Meanwhile Kaoru was all like…

“Freeze, I’ve caught you now!” with half closed eyes and a pen which came from who knows where being used as a gun.

Ha-neul and Aki watched all this in silence until when min seemed to have gotten herself she stared at them and they stared back.

Min: ……………………………

Ha-neul: ………………………………

Aki: …………………………………….

Kaoru: ?????????????????????

*Bird chirps*

Min was EMBARRASSED, it had been such a long time she was this flustered, her cool image was shattered just like that--- SHE WAS CAUGHT DROOLING! Was this repercussion for what she did to Jean?

This was her worst embarrassment that had happened to her, she really wasn’t the type to drool, but with her sleeping posture, ahem! Which made it hard to breathe and what she was dreaming about, em, it was kinda normal she was drooling.

Kaoru was still a bit dazed and was rubbing her messy hair, obviously she was not a morning person.

Min was still tired, after deciding to retire to bed around 1 0’clock and take kaoru to her room, the system quest came before her eyes (she had previously snoozed it),

She had to do the quest or face the penalty and with her busy schedule, she wasn’t really sure where she was going to be and suddenly vanished without a trace, was em, well, she was good with the attention she was having now.

Ha-neul cleared her throat awkwardly, smartly ignoring what just transpired knowing how hard min and kaoru was working especially min,

She was very considerate, never dragging people into her problems and even when they willingly helped her, she sent them all out when they were looking tired.

She was sure Min had let Kaoru off and did most of the job last night, looking at the piles of documents and the decent but somewhat rough handwriting as if fast paced was enough to confirm her speculation.

“Prefect….” Ha-neul started, they started calling min that even though min didn't want it after being told by min what transpired between her and the principal.

“PLEASE, I hate that title” Said min with a gloomy face

“Okay, Min, I found a very important clue”

“You did?” Asked min with hopeful eyes

“Yes, aki?” Ha-neul said signaling aki

“Kaoru’s brother is among the people coming” Aki said bluntly with a straight face 

Kaoru who was yawning suddenly stood up with glittering eyes-

“Bro is coming?!”

“Seems like it” Min said with a slight chuckle

“Kaoru’s brother ‘Ryuu Kurio’, Black hair, Phoenix spring-green eyes, Tall, Good build…..” Ha-neul was listing his features with sparkling eyes and it was obvious as day that she was a fan, when min interrupted her.

“I don’t care if his hotness is like a blazing furnace, just get straight to the point” Min said straightforwardly in a dull tone.

Ha-neul pursed her lips while Kaoru pouted, she liked listening to people praise her older brother and was hoping for Min to do the same but Min seemed a bit irksome, these days….

Min: Well try a work promotion from Student to Prefect overnight! and still be happy! (ノಠ益ಠ)ノ彡┻━┻

Kaoru: Wuwuwu, you’re so mean min QAQ

Ha-neul enunciated that Kaoru’s brother must have come because he was curious to know who Kaoru had gotten as a friend and wanted to see that person.

Min rubbed her head, she wasn’t really against this, in fact they could use his affection for kaoru to develop the good will stats for them

It was just that, from the stories Kaoru had told her about her big brother after being friends for nearly a month now, she came to a conclusion that….

Kaoru’s big brother……WAS A HUGE PERV.
