TWO CAN PLAY THE GAME

After several visits to Mother Maggie's office, the place seemed to have lost its sacredness to me.

Nevertheless, the volume of my new crime made me gape at the wooden door as I knocked on it.

"Come inside," Mother Maggie's voice boomed from the closed door.

The inside was exactly the way I last saw it, dimly light, with several grey colour chairs and an old flat-screen TV.

Eight eyes gawked at me as I walked closer. So I sighed and sat on a seat some steps away.

Two among the eight eyes seemed to be curious, while the remaining six were filled with resentment against me. And without being told, I understand that Alice is the only one that will favour me among the juries that will be deciding my fate.

"What did you have to say about the desecration you committed on this holy ground," Mother Maggie asked.

"What desecration are you talking about?" I asked back, looking as innocent as I can.

"You were caught kissing someone a minute ago... Why did you commit such an abominable act
