THE FEAR OF THE UNKNOWN

Jack called that he was sick and won't be able to come for his night duty, and that was the last we will hear of that tall, sneaky, son of a gun.

But because the harm is already done, I treated everyone with suspicion. And except for Alice, they all in return avoid me like a plague.

As for me, I have no time to bemoan my loneliness, and the threat of death and hell is all I think about.

If I failed to achieve my almost impossible aim, I will soon be back in the judgment room, then straight to hell fire.

Unfortunately for me, I didn't attend any religious gatherings during my previous time on earth, and the fear of the unknown is the greatest on my mind.

What did hell look like? Is it a place for torment, pains, cries and anguish, or a state of forever rest?

I have no idea, I have never been there. Nor I'm I ready to find out.

Lost in my thought, I was unaware of Alice as she glare at me, and it was when she touch my right arm that I jerk to consciousness.
