A BURIED SECRET

The chapel was more silent than the last time I visited here, and Alice and Alicia hold my two hands and dragged me towards some chairs that were arranged close to the partition made for the presiding father.

"Let's seat here and wait for Betty to finish her confession," Alice announced, carried me up and placed my buttocks on the wooden benches, and the two ladies sat at my two sides.

"Her confession is taking longer time than necessary," Alicia mumbled.

"Her sins are many. That's quite expected," I growled out with impatience.

"Don't be mean, Ugly-face. You are not God and not in the position to call someone a sinner or a Saint," Alice let out.

"But I am right."

"Shh! Betty is done with her confession. It's now your turn."

"You guys won't go with me?"

Alice shakes her head sideways and answered back, "no, Ugly-face. Confession is a personal issue. And it's between you, God and father... Please, excuse us."

"I have never done confession before. What is expected of me?"
