Chap 65 : The Wrong Opponent

"What do you mean, Mr. Oddie?" Joe asked the same question that everyone in the meeting room was thinking.

"Well, I got the same plan from someone yesterday. Someone who came to me personally, and asked me to work with his company," Oddie explained.

"How could that happen? While this design is purely the result of my thoughts," Joe defends.

Oddie was silent, he didn't respond to Joe's defense, because he already felt disappointed by considering the man as a plagiarist.

"If this is the design you are referring to for the new project, then I choose to cancel our partnership, Mr. Joe. I can't work with someone who takes ideas from others," Oddie said. He got up from his seat, followed by the other investors.

"Wait! You can't do this, Mr. Oddie. You've signed a partnership between our companies, and You can't just cancel the agreement." Joe looked at Oddie with a deep gaze, as if giving a code that what he was saying now was the truth. "Have a seat, Mr. Oddie and to the other investors."
