The man holding the young lady’s arm was the first to turn, “Who the hell are you?” He barked, his grip tightened on the woman’s arm

“Let them go, you are hurting her,” Asher warned.

The men exchanged glances at each other as their faces were filled with anger. It was obvious the man standing before them had a death wish.

Does he think he can handle five of them?

The man pointed his gun at Asher, “You should leave now you have the chance. I might forgive you and let it slide, but if you stand in our way, I will not think twice to kill you.” He gripped tightly to his gun.

“Don’t say I didn’t warn you, let them go.”

The men were boiling in rage; Asher wasn’t supposed to be in the picture. This was supposed to be an easy Job but With Asher stepping in, they seemed to be having a difficulty.

A cold glint flashed on his eyes, “I don’t care which family you are from, this is none of your business. Take one more step, and I will pull the trigger.”

Asher remained unfazed as he advanced. His movements were deliberate. The man kept his gun high, pointing it directly at Asher.

In a split second, Asher stepped forward, dodging the gunfire by a mere inch.

Mason flinched in shock but saw Asher grab the man’s wrist, twisting it violently to the side. The man let out a sharp gasp of pain as the gun slipped from his grip. Asher drove his knee into the man’s stomach, forcing air from his lungs.

The man staggered backwards, his face pale in shock, before he could react. Asher swept his leg from under him, the man crashed to the ground unconscious.

The others exchanged glances, their faces contorted in rage seeing one of them down.

The lady and young man felt a sense of hope and concern. They were amused by his martial arts skill and prayed he continued on a good note so he could help them from their predators.

The other men, now fully aware of Who he was, began to move closer. A burly figure with a scar running down his face, charged at Asher, his fist clenched. Asher didn’t flinch, instead, he sidestepped the attack, using the man’s momentum against him. With a swift twist of his wrist, Alex locked the man’s arm behind his back, bending him forward in a painful hold.

“This is incredible? Who is he?” The lady thought.

The man grunted, struggling to break free. Asher was too fast; he delivered a swift punch to the man’s neck, knocking him out cold.

Mason watched from the car, his phone clutched to his hand, and his eyes widened in disbelief. It was like watching a living weapon in action.

The other three stood with their guns pointing at Asher and their gaze narrowed at their friends lying motionless. Just as one of them was about to pull the trigger, Asher quickly disarmed him, twisting the gun from his grasp, turning the gun to the man and firing to his forehead.

Bang!

The gunshot echoed, and the man dropped dead. He fired at the other man’s thighs, he collapsed as blood seeped through his pants. Then, used the head of the gun to knock the man unconscious.

“You should have shot when you had the chance.” Asher voiced out.

The last man was taller than the rest. He dropped his gun and moved back. Fear creeping in his eyes, he had just watched Asher take down four of his friends. He couldn’t comprehend how it happened but from what he saw, Asher wasn’t an ordinary man.

“You.” Asher called out, “I will let you go, you have a chance to change your life, but if I ever see you again trying to hurt anyone. That will be your last day on earth,”

The man nodded thoughtfully, he could see his death before his eyes. His heart was pounding fast, and his legs shook visibly as fear engulfed his body.

“Now get lost,” Asher said coldly.

Without hesitation, the man ran away. He didn’t bother looking behind. He was so scared that Asher might change his mind.

Asher’s eyes quickly flicked to the woman and her brother, both of whom were staring at him with wide eyes, their fear slowly turning into gratitude.

“Are you okay? Did they hurt you?”

They both shook their heads in unison, “We are fine. Thank you. You saved us.” The lady said in gratitude.

“Where are you from and what are you doing alone?” Asher asked with concern.

The lady, Sighed softly, “we were heading home when we got attacked. Thank you.” She intoned softly.

Asher’s eyes darted from left to right. “I can take you home if you want. It’s not safe to drive alone when you know you can’t defend yourself.” He said, “Come on,”

They entered the car, Asher took the steering wheel. He could tell they weren’t in their right state of mind after the incident.

He peered through the rearview mirror, where he spotted the two clinging to each other. From the look on their face, he could tell they were siblings.

As they approached the impressive entrance of a mansion. An elderly man emerged from the front door, his face was etched with worry and panic.

He was anxious about his children, they had been gone for six hours with no trace of them. He spotted the car with a raised brow. He rushed forward.

“Levi! Olivia!” Mr Simpson called out; his voice filled with relief as he pulled his children into a tight embrace. “Where have you been? Thank God you’re both safe.”

Olivia buried her face in her father’s chest, as her eyes welled up in tears. While Levi tried to mask it with a brave smile.

Asher stepped out of the car; not wanting to intrude, he watched the family reunion unfold, a small smirk curled by the side of his lips. Mr. Simpson’s eyes darted towards him.

“Who are you and what are you doing with my car?” Mr. Simpson questioned, as his expression shifted from soft to anger.
