CHAPTER 39- SUCCESS

"The senate has granted us consent," Tristan announced, breaking the silence that had hung between him and Henry as they are above the gentle lapping of waves. "The trial against Senator Abigail Harrison commences tommorow."

Henry quivered in his hands, his attention momentarily diverted from the shimmering waters below. A wave of trepidation washed over him as the weight of the upcoming trial settled heavily upon his shoulders.
