CHAPTER 42-POISON

As the Ravenstone Lighthouse stood Sentinel on the windswept coast, Henry Constantine and Prosecutor Tristan Morris went there to unravel the tangled threads of George's past.

"So, what's the story of this lighthouse?" Henry asked, his gaze lost in the flickering beacon that pierced the darkness. "It's eerie, yet oddly captivating."

"It holds significance for George's family, a reminder of a tragedy that marked our lineage." Tristan sighed, a somber expression clouding his features.

"A tragedy?" Henry inquired.

"Yeah, my cousin witnessed the death of his father here at this very lighthouse when he was just a young boy."

Henry's heart skipped a beat. "What? He's father was murdered??"

"We belive so," Tristan said, his voice heavy with grief. "George said they were chased by armed men on a stormy night and they killed his father. Then he luckily survived because Mr. Howard came to his rescue."
