CHAPTER 43- INVOLVEMENT

Mrs. Ofelia Wellington sat at the breakfast table, sipping her coffee and deep in thought.

Her eyes flickered with curiosity as she addressed her son, William, a chip off the old block.

"William," she uttered in a cold, calculating tone, "have you given any thought to Henry's perplexing behavior??"

William leaned back in his plush armchair with a smirk, "Indeed, mother. Henry has been acting most peculiarly of late."

"He has become a shadow of his former self. No longer is he content with his comfortable existence within our walls. Now, he consorts with the likes of George Thompson, a billionaire of questionable reputation.

"What could his motives be?" William pondered aloud, "Surely, he is not plotting against us??"

"That is precisely what I fear, William. Henry is a cunning creature like his father. He must have some ulterior motive hidden beneath that facade."

"We must act, mother. We cannot afford to have him lurking in the shadows, threatening our family's well-being."
