CHAPTER 69-LEONARD

Henry rubbed his eyes as he groggily woke up, hearing the sound of his alarm clock ringing through the silence of his apartment.

He had to wake up early for his shift as a delivery rider at the local delivery company.

Henry heard a knock on his door so he immediately opened it to find a woman standing there, her eyes darting around nervously.

"Hey, do you need something?" Henry asked, his brow furrowed in confusion.

The woman introduced herself as Lydia, and seemed hesitant to speak. She then cleared his throat, "I know who you are, Henry Constantine."

"What do you mean I'm in danger? Who are you?" Henry asked sternly.

Lydia took a deep breath before answering, "I'm part of the shadow syndicate hunter and they're after your watch."

Henry's hand went to his wrist, "I know that they're after me and my watch but why are they after it??" Henry asked seriously.

"There's something special about that watch, something they want but I don't wanna help them. I wanna help you instead." Lyd
