CHAPTER 76-YEAR 3000

The man lunged at Lydia but Tristan managed to break free and tackle it to the ground. They grappled on the floor and their bodies slamming against the wall.

Tristan finally managed to get the figure into a choke hold but it was too strong for him. The figure's fingers dug into Tristan's throat, cutting off his air for supply.

Tristan's vision started to blur and in that moment, he knew he was about to die.

Suddenly, he heard a loud crash. Tristan looked up and saw Lydia standing over the man, holding a broken chair leg. She had struck the man in the head and knocking it unconscious.

"Are you okay?" Lydia asked as Tristan gasped for breath as Lydia helped him to his feet.

"Thanks, you saved my life." Tristan nodded as his doubts towards her vanishrd. Henry was right, she's not an enemy.

"Let's get out of here before he wakes up." Lydia said.
