He made up his mind and returned to where the corpse of the beast was.
He was surprised to find that there was no trace of it.
'Was it still alive, or has someone picked it up?' He then noticed that there was blood on the floor all the way to the entrance and realized that the beast had been picked up by someone else.
Curiosity piqued, and he followed the trail of blood, hoping it would lead him to the person who had taken the beast. As he ventured further, he couldn't help but wonder if this mysterious friend could provide him with more than just a meal.
Following the blood, he left the restaurant. If he found a companion, things might be much better than being alone in this desolate world. The thought of having someone to share the struggles and joys with ignited a glimmer of hope within him, pushing him to continue his pursuit. As he followed the trail, he couldn't shake off the anticipation of what awaited him at the end—a potential ally or perhaps even a newfound family.
