Purge

“As expected.” Isaac sighed. “I didn’t know the goblin village is about to face its impending doom. Who would have thought they are dumber than humans? Well, back then. Citizens were easy to deceive by the government, but it was only because they doesn’t have a choice. While here… I have nothing to say.”

Isaac looked at the little girl goblin with pity. He also looked at her big brother and later learned his name was Ink. He couldn’t help but feel sympathy for their future since even his big brother doesn’t have the power to change their faith.

“In addition, even if I wanted to protect them. I might only bring myself harm. After all, who would have thought the greatest nemesis of the goblin is my race? If it isn’t because of my cautious attitude, I might not be alive and flying right now.”

Isaac chuckled lightly and concluded that from now on, he would always be cautious wherever he went, especially now he was inside such a large dungeon. Even the hidden door is enough to be a lower-level dungeon in the game he played but in his place. It seems he didn’t even progress much.

“Aside from my race, the goblin, and the wild boar tusk, I wonder what other races were living inside the dungeon?” Isaac couldn’t help but wonder. “Well, I can only find out once we venture into the dungeon.”

“Anyway, now that I learned the goblin language, I can finally spy on the current situation of the goblin village.” Isaac thought. “However, I have to be careful. Although I formulated a map in my mind, I still have to mark the place I can hide and the place I have to avoid. Anyway, all I have to do is be careful.”

Isaac looked at the pair of brother and sister one last time before deciding to go out and venture into the goblin village. Currently, the two of them should be safe and could hold on for a week. The brother should have no plan to venture and scavenge valuable things outside since he had gathered enough food to survive in a few days.

Meanwhile, Draven was about to reach the entrance when he suddenly halted. For some strange reason, he could suddenly sense a familiar existence appearing. He pondered over it when he was suddenly interrupted by the system.

[You have learned the inherent skill, Blood Communication.]

‘Blood Communication?’

Isaac wondered before it suddenly dawned on him. To further understand what the skill was, he decided to ask the system about it.

[Inherent skill: Blood Communication.

Description: Back on Earth, from the host's memories, Mosquito lived in solitary. However, the system learned the host could communicate with his other race in a span of five hundred meters unless something blocked them from communicating with each other. However, the longer the distance, the harder to communicate.]

Isaac analyzed the description and was quite surprised. In addition, he realized the goblin village was about to face its misfortune. He couldn’t help but feel guilty, though, thinking he was the reason for their downfall.

He looked back at the pair of siblings, and the little girl had fallen asleep while his brother accompanied her by her side. He firmly decided to protect them and informed his other race about it once they reached his destination.

“I don’t know the personality of my race. Are they cold-blood-hearted? Do they act like how a monster would?” Isaac pondered. “I can only find my answers once I meet them personally. I really can’t communicate with them as though I’m calling them on a phone with a low internet signal.”

Isaac guarded the entrance and waited for the arrival of his kin. As more time passed, he tried to collect the information through the skill. He found out the skill should be passive and felt it was kind of annoying to differentiate the skill with many classes. Therefore, he decided to change them to active and passive later on.

Meanwhile, their connection was slowly turning distinct, and could sense they were having a purge. In addition, they were asking where Isaac was, as they wanted to thank him for leading them to a place where they could build their kingdom. Isaac coldly gives them their information, not trying to act casual and friendly to them at all.

They noted his response, but they were still massacring the goblins.

Isaac later learned the goblin’s blood was disgusting, and thus they decided to kill them by piercing their veins a lot. Bleeding them to the point of dying from blood loss. Such cruelty made Isaac speechless. In the end, he could only hope he could negotiate with them by not intending to kill the pair of goblins he was trying to protect.

Five minutes passed, and it only took that time to kill almost half of the goblins in a short amount of time. Isaac wondered how many of his kin entered the illusionary dungeon wall. He was about to receive the answer when he sensed a group of a mosquito flying in his direction.

He immediately communicated them through his skill.

“Here!”

“Phantom!”

Five of the Mosquito monster exclaimed as they saw him. Isaac wondered who were phantom and realized they were referring to him. He realized it should be the real name of the actual owner of the body.

‘Well, it’s not lame so I don’t mind.’

Isaac hovered and waited for them to come. As they were having their time to fly to him, he was formulating a plan to convince his race. They were cold-blood hearted, but they should give him some face since he contributed a lot by giving them a place to live from now on.

“As expected of Phantom,” said the mosquito in the middle of the group. “You have actually discovered a hidden place for us to build our permanent kingdom. We thought you had died since we suddenly couldn’t contact or sense you. Who would have thought that when we suddenly sensed you, you suddenly disappeared again? After we reported the matter to the king, he found out you should have discovered a hidden place!”

“That’s right! You are so amazing, Phantom!”

The other four mosquitoes supported his bootlicking. While Isaac was confused, he was suddenly praised for something he accidentally achieved. However, he didn’t mind and was actually pleased by their praises.
