CHAPTER 38. Farewell in the Garden.

Bianca's heart raced as she made her way to their usual meeting spot in the school garden the next morning. She clutched the strap of her bag tightly, her mind swirling with a mixture of excitement and fear. Today was the day she would tell Damion about her decision to pursue her modeling career overseas.

As she approached the garden, the scent of blooming flowers filled the air, mingling with the soft murmur of the wind rustling through the leaves. She spotted Damion sitting on an old wooden bench beneath the shade of a giant oak tree, his eyes fixed on the ground as he absentmindedly twirled a blade of grass between his fingers.

Taking a deep breath, Bianca walked over to him, her footsteps echoing softly on the gravel path. Damion looked up at the sound, his eyes lighting up with a mixture of love and happiness as he saw her approaching.

"Bianca," he said, rising to his feet and pulling her into a warm embrace. "I've missed you, and I’m sorry for how we ended things last night."
