"Stop! you thief!"
The busy village market was interrupted by the scream of a middle-aged man who was running through the market, pushing down stuff without much care while they chase after a young man who energetically ran before them.
"Stop there!"
The young man was running swiftly and in such Hurry that the middle-aged man seemed far behind him. But he didn't stop, he couldn't be caught by them!
"Stop there you little thief!"
The men yelled after him as though it would stop the young man who was dressed in a ragged Black garment from running. Because this skilled Young Man had just jumped over a cart that was left on the way.
At the market, sides were screams and chatters from market attendants and vendors who were amazed by the normal chase scene that seemed to be happening quite often now!
This young man looked back at the persistent old hags that were behind him as he continued.
Ahead of him was a longer cart of cabbages that was packed by a man who was making some business.
The young man's eyes widened as he approached. He wasn't sure he would make it pass!
With his eyes closed, he ran as fast as his legs could carry him and getting to the cart he threw himself to the air and surprisingly did a flip and the landed on his feet again! This had Marvelled certain people around.
Landing on his feet hard, the young man let out a smirk as he continued his marathon!
The old chasers stopped abruptly and went around the cart and then continued. As they ran after him as fast they could, they were annoyed as this little brat threw away foodstuff before them to stall them and even push down carts!
This young man saw that he wasn't gonna make it if he kept on running like this so he began making dashes.
He dashed into a corner abruptly as people dodged him. He was quick and manipulative in his running and when he made his final dash, he saw a dead end!
He panicked as he continued walking towards it. This was it, the wall before head could be his last! But no, he couldn't lose hope.
With that, he ran as fast as he could, and placing his feet on the cart of straws before the wall, he made an impressive jump over the wall and landed on the other end.
The men ran to the corner and looked around, didn't see anyone. they looked around.
"Where did he go?" one asked.
"Maybe over the wall, I'll have a look" Another volunteered as he climbed up the wall looking down at the corner. But there was no one. He got down and shocked his head.
"He escaped! That brat!"
"We'll get him next time he comes to steal our bread!" One who seemed to be their leader Said as they all left with unpleasant murmurs.
The young man slowly crawled out from behind the ball of dust where he had hidden and sat down leaning against the wall.
He looked exhausted from the run that he had often been engaged in. It annoyed him how he would have to get his food through this means. Being chased afterward.
With a long sigh, he looked up at the bright sky. The big sun was up ahead. Big and bright as always
He looked down at his side, digging his hands inside his shabby black clothes, and then got out a circular loaf of bread that could fit right into his hands.
He sighed looking at the little bread that was held by his dirty hands, the reason why he was chased like this! A thief!
He took a big bite from it.
But he couldn't do anything about it. This was his life, the life he ended up growing with. All alone In this big world with no aim in life...Or so?
He hated his current situation of poverty and pity. He Hated the fact that he would go about the street stealing to feed himself. He Hated the fact that he had to hide from most who might recognize him someday, from most who called him a worthless thief! trash of a human! And most especially, he hated the Heavens for all these!
Eating half a bit from the bread, he looked up at the Heavens and felt his annoyance growing. He Hated that big place. The people there and everything about it... Because his current situation was all because of this heaven!
He looked down at the loaf and again took a big bite. This was what his miserable life was about!
Night at the Village was calm and tranquil. It was also peaceful and normal with busy people all heading home.
The bars and restaurants were mostly filled up with drunkards and lavish people at this moment. Loud laughers and chats could be heard from Various halls of gathering and many spots in the village Where gambling was a thing.
The young man covered his head in a black hood as he headed to an outside bar where most people there were gathered in groups, drinking and chatting aloud.
He was careful enough not to be seen as he sat down at a table alone. The Waiter had come to him and he had casually requested a drink.
As his drink was being brought, he couldn't help to get an ear of the gossip that passed on from the men close to him.
"Didn't you hear it old man?! Some people from the heavens had already come to that Great teacher's house and slaughtered all his so-called disciples! so don't dare take your son there for knowledge!"
"Really? The heavenly people had slaughtered the disciples of the 20 disciples of the Great Master Lu? But why?"
"I guess you didn't hear..well...I'll let you in on this! Just a week ago, Master Lu, one of the most prestigious cultivators in our village was said to be teaching against the heavens! It's said his teachings were importer and led youngsters astray. Because of this, he was wanted by the heavenly officials and when they visited his home at the east, he was not there and his disciples who were training there were all killed! "
"How did I not know this?"
"I heard it from my son who is a cultivator at the sung academy. It was tragic how these youngsters in quests of knowledge died for the sins of their master!"
The young man who was listening at a distance narrowed his eyes at them to get a clearer view of those men talking. From all they had said, all ye could make out of this was...
"Who else has a hating to the heavens as I do? I have to find him"
When the server had come to serve his wine, the young man was gone! It has
He looked up at the slanting sign up at the gate, it read the characters "Heart Words" The young man had a closer look at the characters he wasn't acquainted with. Having both hands on his waist, he seemed confused looking at the sign. He had to admit to being an illiterate who didn't learn to read. But he didn't think those were necessary, he wouldn't need them to fight the heavens! He scratched his messy dark hair that was tied backward in a ponytail with some parts brushing forward his face. This young man by appearance was young, and he indeed was an active youngster. He looked around again, there was no house around here. This must be the place that the people he had asked had shown him, And judging by how lonely it...it must be the invaded house of the Great master Lu. He approached and then pushed open the door cautiously. The door
Master Lu majestically walked up to his front corridor leading to a hall as he sat down before a table. Before he was a jug of tea and a little cup that he seemed to be feasting on before the intruder had arrived. Asura watched him settle as he poured himself a cup of fine tea and then sip it down in a solemn manner. That wasn't his main shock now, but what this man had said about having some disciples before him. He walked up to him, sitting before his table" Can you tell me about your disciples? who are they? where are they? and why weren't they killed?" Master Lu looked at the young boy with lots of curious questions. He raised an eyebrow. "They are disciples of mine...How could they easily be killed by those people? I don't take weaklings and untalented as disciples" "Then, where are they? Are they around here?"&n
Asura quickly got up to his feet with a jovial smile" Oh .. Hello...I'm Asura... the new disciple" The man looked at him "How can a disciple be a lie? Master Lu sent you on a mission, isn't it?" Asura blinked. This disciple was awesome! Did he know everything? Can he see through him?! "Oh... Yeah. I am on a mission, but I'll surely accomplish it and become his disciple" Asura assured, confidently. "Don't count your eggs before they hatch" The young man looked cold, gently and distant. He seemed colder than master Lu and this bothered Asura. "Why say so?" The young man turned to a tree far ahead and gestured to it with his hand fan "There...Is the tea leaves that the master likes the most? Get it, If you can" He turned to Asura. "Why say
was The Heavenly atmosphere was always serene and mighty. Giving off the vibes of supremacy and holiness. The pure clouds dotted the environment below, serving as a primary division between earth and the heavens. Above this blurry cloud was a large golden gate ahead and before this gate stood soldier-like men in full golden armor. They look plain in expression and calm with their spear at hand. Behind these gigantic gates blurred up with shining cloud stars was the majestic land of the gods...The core god realm. Legend had it that after the ancestral gods had created the universe, they had strived for peace between mankind and an effective way of ruling it .. Then when the ancestral gods had faded off from the universe without traces...placed the gods In charge of this universe...The gods were selected based on wits and talents. And these gods of the three realms lived in the supreme god land a
“Why do I have to do this?" Asura questioned trying to keep his balance. Master Lu had his eyes closed, leaning happily against the tree. "This is a method to build up your calm self. As a disciple of mine...You should be Peaceful within...Calm...And gentle...But you're contrary to them all. That's why we have to begin with this" "But ...But when are you gonna teach me to use powers and cultivate?" He questioned. Master Lu still had his eyes closed" I should not be the First person to tell you that you have a blocked spiritual sense...And no matter how hard you try...You can never cultivate" "I've heard that a lot. But I don't believe it. I know I can break it" He said confidently. Master Lu Smiled" You're confident enough. But that... would only be a miracle...A great miracle" "I don't believe in miracles" Asura said as he fall on his other
The journey to the Forest wasn't such a hard one. Before long, the two young men had gotten to the forest as they strolled through its path. Asura followed Kai behind, taking a close look at him. He was still bothered with the idea of Kai being blind! But he was walking fluently and naturally! His movement was causal! How then is he blind?! "Are you coming or gonna stand behind while looking at me?" Kai asked. Asura quickly stepped forward to stand beside him. He took a close look at kai. ", Senior, Are you blind?" Kai didn't look at him nor reply but kept on moving. "But how can you be blind when you know everything, move and fight so well?!" Kai finally stopped and then turned to Asura who had a close look at his blue eyes. "Maybe another fight between us will determine if I'm blind or not, what do you say?" &n
The moon hung poetically on a starry night. Calm and tranquil. Beneath the moon was the house of Master Lu who was sitting outside his corridor as usual. He had his scrolls before him on the table, and candlelight closes by. He was going through the characters, exquisitely written on the scrolls. Poems and we'll write sayings of knowledge. He went through the scrolls under the candlelight for a while and then looked up ahead. "How long do you plan on monitoring me. You've been here the whole morning, aren't you tired?" Master Lu asked. Then immediately, someone appeared with yellow fire dust announcing his entrance. The god of war walked up to Master Lu "You're brave enough not to run away this time. I wanted to see if you had an ace up your sleeves backing your bravery" A slight smile escaped Master Lu's lips. He looked down
There were precisely two mountains located in this little village. And the peach Tree mountain was one of them. The PeachTree mountain was relatively small and sloppy. It was more insignificant than the other larger mountain that' could be seen from distance away. The Peachtree mountain was situated in the deep forest which made it further and difficult to notice. It was an awkward and strange mountain as proclaimer by most. Legend had it that the Tree mountain was originally the stepping grounds of dead gods and immortals. The mountain by observation had no trace of trees or planets whatsoever. This was a strange omen to the people. But on a certain year when the gods were said to have descended on this mountain, A certain peach tree was said to have sprouted out miraculously. This was the origin of the name because till this day, no other tree had grown there and this peach tree remains there at the center of the mountain. &n
YUN PAVILION, HEAVENLY REALM. The Heavenly emperor extended his hands to the chess board, picking up the white piece and taking it to another spot. A slight smile escaped his lips. "Checkmate" The words diligently came out from The god of fate's mouth who has been the Heavenly emperor for a long now. "It's Been years now and I still can't defeat you. And you refused to tell me your killer secret" Master Lu who sat opposite him expressed. The two men who were clothed in golden robes sat opposite each other before the table with a chess board on it. They were sitting in a Little golden pavilion situated on the clouds of the heavens known as the Yun (云 - Cloud) pavilion Where the Heavenly emperor always came for Leisure.. drank and played GO. "What secret are you talking about? All I play is simply true to my genuine playing experience and not a killer strategy. I advise you do some practicing" He advised. "I wish I had time for that, But too bad I'm busy with official matters that
Prince Yu had walked out of the house to carry in some firewoods but at the same time had caught sight of Prince Kai who was standing there at his distance and watching. Emperor Kai didn't wish to be seen. He guessed it'd be okay if he only saw him and then observed before leaving. But now Prince Yu had also seen him. And judging from the way he kept staring at him, He guessed Prince Yu remembered him. ***** Prince Yu had invited Prince Kai into his little house and then offered him some drinks and the little he had. Afterward, he sat opposite him and they had a little chat. Asura got to find out that Prince Yu had been alive all this while. It ed like he didn't die after all! Living for 50 thousand years, Prince Yu was living with a brown fox whom he said was the spirit beast of Shanhe. According to him, Fate has given them another chance to reun
- At this point, I don't think I'm Worthy of sitting here and ruling the three realms with myself already a mess. And again. I don't even have the celestial core anymore to rule them. So I believed this is a choice the ancestral gods wanted me to make. It's hard to be brief since there's a lot I wanted to say. But I'll keep it brief. At this point, I want to be free, go through the world, meet new things and new people..Try new things, and learn new things. I want to surf the mortal realm more and dwell among mortals. Let me visit old friends and meet old places. This. I'll do it In the honor of Asura.Although Asura might seem like one whose head is only clouded with revenge. but in reality, No one wanted to be free other than he. When I was with him, I could tell he loved that freedom of surfing around and seeing new things. guessed that'd be a wish fate didn't let him fulfill much. So I'll do it for him.Don't worry a
-50 thousand years later-The gently sound and melody of the Qin Played through the atmosphere blowing through the pink peach leaves that surfed around the garden. It was a beautiful day for such beautiful nature music from the Qin which had its melody soothing through the flowery garden clothed with multi-colored flowers that crowded the scenery. In the middle of this flowery garden was Emperor Kai who was clothed in plain white as always with his long smooth hair moved backward in an elegant manner. Before he was white Qin which he ran his hands through, skillfully creating a harmonious melody that complimented nature. The peach flowers dotted the garden creating an aesthetic view of the garden and of the man who played the Qin.He Played this for a while before he suddenly came to an abr
As everything began clearing up, The Heavenly emperor slowly stood up from where he had fallen. The god of fate got up to Stand beside him. Both of Their eyes were looking at a particular distance. The distance where Asura had used his sword on the banished ancestral god. And looking at this scene, they didn't seem to see anyone or anything at all! This had gotten them confused as Emperor Kai left and approached beneath the scene where it happened. He looked around the related places trying to see if he would get any clues but for a reason. He didn't seem to find anything at all and this got him confused. The god of fate on the other hand stared at him as he searched all he could search. He was mute without a word. And when Emperor Kai found nothing, he turned and approached The god of fate "where is he?" He questioned, "Where's Asura?"The god of fate was mute without saying any
The celestial Dao Sword glowed in flames as it went through the electric Shield which was insanely shattered without a moment of hesitation. And with Asura handling the sword, The sword moved past the shield and headed up into the shield where it stroke The banished ancestral god by the back.It was as though time had stopped with a harsh strike from behind. The smile on this man's face had instantly disappeared with the growing pain that had seemed to have appeared. He didn't know what that was until he slowly turned his head only to see Asura holding on to the sword at his back with an uncertain smile on his bruised face."You ... what is this...?" The man couldn't believe what had happened. He guessed he had gotten extremely careless and ignorant of things around him and had failed to be vigilant. e had forgotten about the threat he had and now...He was done for.Asura still h
He had also uncovered the rather shocking mystery behind his existence which was basically to stop a feared and powerful villain from destroying the who'll world in exchange for his life.Thinking about it, Asura found it funny! Indeed the heavens were unfair! all these While they'd watched him train and go through hell just to exchange his life for this? it was funny yet amusing...It was probably why he laughed it through. And at the same time, he couldn't help but look at the good side of it all which was the fact that he had taken his revenge! The two basic objects of his revenge who were The Heavenly emperor and ZhanShen were no more. And that was an achievement. it was at least something to himAnd he could say that although he couldn't go deep into destroying the heavens, although his life he had managed to prove himself to the three realms and tell them his presence
The words from the god of fate echoed through his ears as though he wasn't hearing things. It was as though he was dreaming for a while there. But in reality, he wasn't, he had heard him right! It was at this point that Asura slowly recalled what had happened earlier. He recalled when he was in the Shield with the Man and what he had said. The man had said That it was his destiny to kill him and that was basically why he existed. He had initially thought the meaning behind this was the fact that he was the one destined to slay him or something. But as he heard what the god of fate had said, he couldn't help but think of what that statement meant. It was hard to believe but Asura had to accept the fact that he was Destines for this even if he didn't Want to.Asura stood there looking at His father from behind. At this point, tears had slowly begun running down his eyes. He was feeling bad about it all
It was as If a time bomb was set off. Because at This moment, the three realms felt as if a heavy explosion had taken over the whole situation!Starting from the heavens was the falling of constructions all over the heavens. Towers, buildings, and significant constructions of the Heavenly realm had instantly begun falling apart and so did the Earthquake increase! It was as if everything was coming to an end, It did seem like it. And from the looks of things, it seemed like they were coming to an end!The Same went for the mortal and demon realms which were experiencing equal fate. The houses in the mortal realms were sinking up and droughts from nowhere were taking over and eating people up.The forests were falling and things were shattering. The grounds were breaking open and people were dying! Those who ran for their dear lives didn't seem to be escaping from this general cata
