Natalie's cab pulled up at the restaurant, she glanced at her phone. She met unexpected traffic and was a few minutes late and that made her heart fall.

Nick was always hard on her, it didn't matter how little her error was, but she only inhaled deeply and composed herself.

She dipped her hand into her purse and took out a few dollar bills which she threw at the driver.

The man frowned at her.

" That's not even close to what I charge for the distance that I brought you from." He said. " You owe me an extra twenty dollars!"

" You should have gone faster, old man!" She hissed.

"Hey!"

She completely ignored him as she stepped out of the car.

She walked through the door and calmly looked around, looking for her boyfriend.

She looked between the waiters that were walking to and fro, and she found her boyfriend.

He was sitting in a corner of the restaurant with a glass of champagne in front of him. He was glancing at his wristwatch with a frown on his face.
