Chapter 1
In one of the most peaceful and serene coffee shops in Chicago, a man named Lewis was wiping the junks on his table. A black apron hung loosely on his waist, his flannel shirt sleeves were rolled up to his elbows, his face carried the smiles of joy as this was winter season and because of the icy air, many customers will drop by today to grab a hot coffee. He whistled his favorite song as he cleaned the table with a fresh tablecloth. Lewis has no employees in his cafe, as of the reason that he could manage the shop alone. It was a small classical cafe with about six tables, some artistic paintings hung on the gypsum board. He placed them there to attract customers, so they won't get bored when drinking in his cafe, instead there is something to entertain their wandering eyes. The open sign was faced outside so he was officially opened. Sirens blared across the alley, and halted in front of Lewis's cafe. Lewis peered up seeing the white police car.“Oh! It's the bacon!” he said with a

~Unit 05, Chicago prison~Lewis was given his prison uniform and the sweet aroma of chicken masala was irresistible. He was taken to his unit, dressed in orange short sleeve and pants as the other prisoners. A bold No ‘167’ was taped at the back of his sleeve. Warden Lee came forward and unlocked his cuffs before pushing him forward into his unit. Inmates were peering through their rooms, the upper part of the doors was made of guard rails and the down part was totally covered with steel barrier. So, they screamed at Lewis from the railings.“Go, go mummy!” some shouted in mockery. Each room was fighting themselves to get a view of the new inmate.“Fathead! Let me guesh, he shitty his father!” an inmate with a British accent said and others bursted into laughter, enjoying humiliating their new prison mate.“Nah, dick! His father is dead, A fucking Baker!” another shouted. And as the noise came, it was quick to crawl away at the mention of ‘Baker’Inmates didn't dare to utter a word a

~Courtyard, Chicago prison~Early in the morning at about 6am, before sunrise, inmates formed straight lines of ten rows and seven Columns, as they stretched their bodies in exercise. Policemen who were in charge of morning roadworks, whipped the stubborn inmates that slowed their pace and the sleepy heads. In the sixth row, Lewis was following exactly their commander’s steps, back in his normal life, morning exercise was his hobby as this one was not hard for him as it was for others. “Punish anyone who stops for whatever reason, no fucking excuse mates!” the commander screamed from the front. The policemen showed off their whips as they were thirsty to use it on inmates.Behind Lewis was one of Chun Li's followers. The commander switched to jump squats and the inmates followed suit. Chun Li who was beside his follower nodded at him, and the follower picked up a piece of broken glass lying on the ground. The follower placed the sharp glass on Lewis's foot print, their schemes went

~Montreal district B, Chicago~The wide door leading to the largest office opened, and a man in a navy blue suit walked in. His finely trimmed brown beard runs from his jaw connecting to his mustache. He checked the time on his black wrist watch before clearing his throat, attracting the attention of the man standing in front of the window.“Romani traders have ended the deal, they said their part of the contract was violated, this morning they left with the gemstones and cartridges,” after tons of rehearsals he finally delivered the message, but he held his breath until his boss spoke.“For what reason, Hyde?” the man standing in front of the window asked with a deep and husky tone.He looked out into the freshness of the vast city and the warmth of the sunlight gracing it, while he smoked and drank his beer.Hyde, his assistant and right-hand man vibrated in extreme fear. “One of the goods got a disease and infected all commodities,” Hyde's palms had turned sweaty, afraid of his bo

~Cafeteria, Chicago prison~The morning temperature was low, freezing and the sun was nowhere to be seen. As it was winter season, the cold air stung the skin of inmates who had no sweaters on, but the smell of cocoa made the air feel fresh and bearable. However, it was only for a few minutes before they would return to scrubbing the gutters in the frosty water. The sweet smell of hot cocoa wafted in the air as inmates were served a cup for each at the big size counter. Behind the counter were cafeteria servers who helped in pouring the cocoa to disposable cups, they wore hand gloves and nose masks along with their light blue vest and pants. In one of the pairs and rows table arrangements, Lewis was having his drink as he squeezed himself together, chasing for warmth. He was one of the many who couldn't afford a sweater. The sweaters they sold in the commissary were quite expensive for prisoners, so it was only the well-known OG's that were able to afford one for themselves.Lewis ble

The room has a big sized mattress, a wooden desk and chair, also the floor was tiled unlike the other inmates that had to lay on the unpolished concrete cold floor. It also has a private toilet and bathroom. The room was not really luxurious, but for a place like Chicago Prison, you can say it is a rich and comfortable room.Chun Li's jaw flexed as he read the newspaper in his hand. It was not really a newspaper. It's a medium his agent uses for passing or exchanging messages with him. The guards deliver the newspaper to him once in a month and they never bother themselves to scrutinize it because it comes in bundle

Chapter 8
~Courtyard, Chicago prison~After breakfast, the courtyard was made open for the inmates. It was littered with rough and malnourished looking guys in blue vests and pants. Some were chatting in groups, some were hanging around the metal nets while looking outside towards the gate, probably wondering when in forever they would pass through that gate again.Lewis sat peacefully on the bench while playing with some stones in his hand. Not really playing, because his mind was completely elsewhere. So he missed when Chun Li and his followers stepped in his space. It was only when he saw their shadows that he looked up and noticed them. First he noticed that Chun Li had shaved the dirty stubble on his face.Chun Li gave a tight smug, “Hello, little pauper. I bet the prison food is feeding you real good than outside, huh?”Lewis just scoffed. Since the past few days, he has somehow managed not to fall under Chun Li's attention by following another path whenever he sees him coming or avoidin
