~Unit 5, cellblock~
The first floor of the cell blocks was left to the OG's. The respected and notorious inmates took over the first floor while the inmates with no rank, the peasants were left to crowd below. In the most luxurious room Chun Li's name was taped in front of the door. Chun Li sat on his mighty chair reading the newspaper while his follower dyed his hair red. The room has a big sized mattress, a wooden desk and chair, also the floor was tiled unlike the other inmates that had to lay on the unpolished concrete cold floor. It also has a private toilet and bathroom. The room was not really luxurious, but for a place like Chicago Prison, you can say it is a rich and comfortable room.Chun Li's jaw flexed as he read the newspaper in his hand. It was not really a newspaper. It's a medium his agent uses for passing or exchanging messages with him. The guards deliver the newspaper to him once in a month and they never bother themselves to scrutinize it because it comes in bundles and moreover whoever bothers themselves to inspect it will only waste a time of their life because only Chun Li and his agent understands this method. He suddenly dropped it and picked another one, and when he flipped the page a picture slipped from it and fell to the floor. One of his followers rushed forward and picked it up, wiped the picture on his pants before handing it over to Chun Li who only raised his eyebrow when he saw the person in the picture. It was none other than their new inmate, Lewis Baker.“What son of a mongrel does it? Who the hell puts a fucking picture in the newspaper?”His jaw ticked and his eyebrows narrowed together. He was not angry because of the person in the picture but the picture itself. If the guards had checked the newspaper before passing it to him, his little life-saving business would go down the pan. No doubt that the guards would work day and night to make out their code of messaging. He flung the newspaper to the other side of the room and it fell on one of his follower's shoes.“Tell Darkrow to go through these papers before he delivers them down here, this mistake could have exposed us and what do we fucking tell them!” he glared at his followers who remained stagnant in their positions.“Yes, boss.” they chorused.Chun Li scoffed irritatedly before moving his eyes back to the remaining newspaper.“Boss, you might want to see this?” one of his followers said.“What?” Chun Li barked. The one that the newspaper fell on his shoes came forward and opened the page.“They are offering one-fifty for this job,” the guy with a durag on his head said after reading the message in the newspaper.Chun Li bathed his eyelashes and his lips quivered but he recovered and recomposed himself immediately. How the hell was his follower able to read this secret message? No matter how much trust he gives to his followers, one thing was for sure, when it comes to his business here, only two people know how to decode the messages in the newspaper, which was his agent and him.His followers help to execute their mission but he never for once teach them how to read the newspaper, so how did this fool comprehend the hidden message? He scoffed and stood on his feet.“Let me see that,” he demanded and the newspaper was given to him.Chun Li walked around before stopping behind the guy who was able to read the message. He glared daggers at him as anger boiled in his blood. Before the guy could get a look over his shoulder, Chun Li plugged out his small dagger and stabbed his follower behind the chest. The guy's eye turned wide and blood poured from his mouth. His other followers gasped out of shock and quickly recomposed their expressions.“You were a good follower, Chudi,” he whispered and pushed the dagger deeper until Chudi stopped gagging and his eyes turned lifeless.Chun Li withdrew the dagger before Chudi fell lifeless on the floor with a thud. The guy was one of his most trusted followers but in his own way, he does not spare anyone who finds out his code of business.“Take his body away,” Chun Li ordered. The atmosphere had turned gloomy and even though the followers had a different expression lingering on their faces, inside they didn't feel okay witnessing one of their own die helplessly before them. They knew not to mess with Chun Li but this could have been any of them.Chun Li paused and turned towards them when none of them made a move to pick the body.“Have y'all gone deaf?! I said take this fucking body away right now!” he barked and pointed the dagger towards them, his voice vibrated in the walls of the room sending his followers running to the body with dread. One birdbrain follower had lost his mind and ran up to Chun Li, panting.“Boss, where do we dispose of his body?” he asked.Chun Li scoffed before drawing close to the poor boy, he yanked the boy's hair up so that his neck was facing him. Then he used the blood stained dagger and started running the sharp tip on the column of the boy's neck, drawing fresh blood from the boy.The boy who had just joined his gang two days ago thought that by asking this question he was only doing his job as a follower not knowing that the question had irritated their boss. The other followers inwardly prayed for the nerd looking guy.“You don't know what they do with dead bodies?” Chun Li asked, gritting his teeth, trying to hold back the rage building up inside him.The boy quivered in fear, he shook his head as sweat trickled down his forehead.“Fine, you will find out after your body will be the next thing to be carried away,” Chun Li threatened. The boy's eyes turned wider as fear clouded his vision. He was pissing hot in his pants as the dagger cut more flesh on his neck. One of the followers saw that Chun Li was adamant on killing this guy, he had to voice out.“Boss, he is an amateur. He signed in the day before yesterday!” the follower voiced out.The boy nodded frantically and Chun Li dropped his hand before pushing the boy away. He picked a piece of cloth on the couch before wiping the dagger.“Get me that newspaper,” he demanded and it was brought to him. Chun Li gave it a quick thought before proceeding to address his followers.“We have not had a job that pays well like this for a while. Call them in, we are taking the job!” he growled and the other responded with a cheer. He gets tons of job offers monthly, which does not mean he agrees to all of them. But if a client wants to secure a better position then the pay must be friendly. The higher the money, the higher the possibility of them taking on the job.So his eyes narrowed on the picture lying on the floor, an evil smirk tugged on his lips as he thought of all the harmful things he would do to Lewis, he couldn't lwait to get this deal. The punk rocker boy exhaled heavily when he saw that the attention was not on him any more. He did the sign of the cross as a relief. However, he could not wait to tell his new cellie that his picture was lying in the devil's den.~Five star hotel, Worcester~Taylor and his secretary arrived at the luxurious hotel two hours after leaving Chicago. The concierge walked up to them with a welcoming smile on her face.“Welcome to five star hotel, Mr. Taylor,” she took hold of his luggage. “Your suite has been arranged to your taste.” The concierge carefully rolled the luggage on the marble floor while walking two meters beside him.Taylor nodded and asked, “And the car I requested for?”“Resting in the garage,” the concierge replied again.“Good,” Taylor pulled out of his suit jacket before handing it to his secretary. “It's going to be a long stay in Worcester, right Mrs Skylar?” he asked, unbuttoning the sleeve of his shirt as he threw a glance at the concierge named Skylar.Mrs. Skylar simply nodded and widened the unwavering smile that plastered on her face like a mask.**************~Room 666, five star hotel~They stopped in front of the door with the number ‘suite 666’ on the number plate. The concierge swi
~Courtyard, Chicago prison~After breakfast, the courtyard was made open for the inmates. It was littered with rough and malnourished looking guys in blue vests and pants. Some were chatting in groups, some were hanging around the metal nets while looking outside towards the gate, probably wondering when in forever they would pass through that gate again.Lewis sat peacefully on the bench while playing with some stones in his hand. Not really playing, because his mind was completely elsewhere. So he missed when Chun Li and his followers stepped in his space. It was only when he saw their shadows that he looked up and noticed them. First he noticed that Chun Li had shaved the dirty stubble on his face.Chun Li gave a tight smug, “Hello, little pauper. I bet the prison food is feeding you real good than outside, huh?”Lewis just scoffed. Since the past few days, he has somehow managed not to fall under Chun Li's attention by following another path whenever he sees him coming or avoidin
~Guards quarter, Chicago prison~Lewis knelt down in the middle of a dimly lit corridor, his hands were tied behind his back and his ankles were secured together with the same rope. His shirt has been ripped off, leaving him shirtless and sweaty.Sweat trickled down his face and abs, as the corridor was hot.Warden Lee turned on the gas burner and set down a pan of oil, allowing it to heat.As it started sizzling, warden Lee smirked at Lewis as he took a seat on the stool.“What did you say again? You don't know how the key crawled into your mattress?” he questioned and dipped the horsewhip into the pan.Lewis has explained himself over and over again that his voice has turned hoarse. At the back of his mind, he knows only one person who could do this to him.Chun Li.He silently crushed his teeth.“You make it harder when you lie, admit it and I might minimize the strokes,” warden Lee said, checking his frying horsewhip.“Have you fucked a woman in church before? You know the pleasur
The third day Lewis woke up with so much back pains and swollen muscles. The marks of the horse whip were now visible and had started turning to black wounds.Warden Lee secured a cuff around his wrist as he led him to the gen pub toilets. He gave Lewis a brush and detergent to scrub the toilets, before locking him inside the awful smell of human waste. For the next three hours, Lewis worked hard to clean the whole toilet and tiles, leaving it with a sparkling effect.Warden Lee later took him to the surveillance room for the last punishment. He offered Lewis a seat, and even provided him a bottle of water and energy giving drink.Even though Lewis hated them, he had to take the mineral to restore his energy, especially if he wanted to survive in the long run.Lewis wondered why they brought him there.Warden Lee came forward and pressed a remote that turned on the TV at the side. He gave Lewis what looked like an assuring smile before Lewis moved his eyes to the TV.His coffee café d
~EMF, Worcester~Taylor cracked his fist and neck for the umpteenth time, moving up and down and stopping a moment to glance at the monitor.“Boss, you might want to drink some water. I am sure that the Italian men will deliver our goods safe and sound,” Hyde said to reduce the tension in the room.“You are sure?” Taylor scoffed, “Do you even know who we are working with? These men can switch sides any moment, just give them more than they were offered,” He glared at his assistant who only shut his mouth, noting his opinion wasn't needed.Nony hacker typed fast on the keyboard, whole time his face was protected in the guy Fawkes mask, with his eyes fixed on the monitor.“How close are we?” Taylor asked, sounding breathless.“Our goods will arrive shortly,” Nony hacker announced as the sounds of keyboard clicking filled the room.“Perfect!” Taylor moved to stand beside him, looking at the screen that displayed a moving red dot in the middle of a large map.“How many are they?” Nony hac
~Unit 5, Chicago prison~Warden Lee realized his cell phone went missing during the chaos, so before inmates departed to their cells, he ordered the unit gates to be locked. And lo and behold, it was found in Chun Li's pocket. He got a busted lip from the punch Warden Lee threw at him in anger. Then he was locked in the isolation ward, and warden Lee promised to give him the worst punishment ever. Now that Chun Li was locked away from others, the tight atmosphere had become dense. It was like inmates who had been drowning swum to the surface for a short breather. They now have the opportunity to do what pleases them without being bossed around, even though Chun Li's followers were around. They have no order to follow, so they were pretty much useless. Some aggravated inmates decided to avenge Chun Li's followers for causing them harm in the past. One inmate poured a bucket of urine on one of Chun Li's followers. They pushed the guy to the center of the unit hall and pounced on him. “
~Isolation ward, Chicago prison~“Fuck you, I didn't take the phone!” Chun Li struggled as Warden Lee dragged him by the trouser.“It was found in your pocket, don't make me lose my mind, nit.”“I was fucking accused!” Chun Li yelled through gritted teeth.Warden Lee has heard enough of Chun Li and now he will show him not to mess around. He must have gotten too acquainted with him that gave him the effrontery to fuck up.“You know the damn rules. You become the thief if it was found with you.”“So keep moving or you want me to splatter your dumb brain on these walls,” Warden Lee whispered close to Chun Li's ear.“We used to be paddies, why did you change?” Chun Li suddenly asked in a low tone.Warden Lee halted and pushed the guy to the wall. Even though Chun Li looks bulkier and has more daunting looks to Warden Lee, he has managed to install that fear in them and control their brains.“When animals come across a bigger prey or get bored with their food, they spit it out.”“You foun
~Dining hall, Chicago Prison~Inmates chowed down their meal slowly, some were forcing the damn thing down their throat, trying hard to swallow. They had no option, it's either you have the meal or stay hungry. The hall remained quiet until the door burst open and what they didn't expect to see so soon happened.Chun Li stepped into the hall looking more mighty than ever. He tucked his hand into his pant's pocket, pausing to take a look around the whole hall and strode inside the dinning hall to his table.Sound of clattering cutleries filled the room as some people had lost their appetite. They thought he would spend at least one week in the isolation ward, but it hasn't even been 48 hours since he got locked away. They grumbled and sighed exhaustedly. Now they are back to square one.A devilish smirk plastered on Chun Li's face as he made his way to his table, knowing the discomfort he brought to inmates and feeling the power of his presence. His followers were smiling, clamping th
