David was terrified for his mother's life, he didn't want her to get into this mix-up with his father.

His mother started to laugh when she heard that Rosie was sent to kill her.

David looked at his mother's hands and noticed how skillfully she was holding those guns. Maybe he wasn't supposed to be in front, trying to protect her.

Maybe he should be behind her and let her handle this. She didn't look like it was her first time holding the gun, it looked like she had a lot of experience handling guns.

"Move, David." His mother said to him, "Trust me, I don't want more bullet marks on your body."

"Yeah, listen to your mother, David." Rosie chipped in. "I don't want to hurt you. Again."

"Don't ever speak to my son, again," David's mother warned Rosie." Never, or else I will shoot you dead and dump your body where it will never be found."

"Please, I'm begging you, let's handle this amicably," Rosie begged. "David will come with us and no one would have to get hurt."
