David had never been on a private jet before, but the whole situation that led to him being here had ruined everything for him.

He sat in the expensive plane and watched from a distance as Rosie took care of her injury.

He couldn't believe, couldn't bring himself to comprehend, that his mother shut Rosie.

His mother wasn't a gun-twirling bandit, his mother was an old people nurse, who was already grumpy about money.

Never would he have thought that she worked for Dominic Ford, that's how he even came into existence.

Rosie's low grunt of pain interrupted his thoughts and he looked at her. She looked away from him immediately and with a pair of scissors, she dug out the bullet in her gut with cries of pain.

She finally got it out, she looked at it like an object from space. She dropped it and dropped her head against the headrest.

"Are you okay?" He couldn't help but ask her.

"Your mother shut where it was to hurt the most and she didn't miss." She sighed. "She is such a badass.
