David cocked his head, not wanting to believe what she just said to him.

"What?" He grunted.

She looked away from him like she didn't care if he believed her or not.

She held the knob of the door of one of the nearest restrooms, but he stopped her from walking in.

"Rosie, you can't just leave like that." He said to her, "At least tell me what's wrong with you."

"Nothing!" She snapped at him with a loud voice. " I saw my ex-boyfriend and I panicked, okay?!"

She couldn't be lying, she just affirmed what she said to him minutes ago.

That was really Tommy. The ex that her father mentioned, the one that she didn't want anything to do with him.
