"Okay, I appreciate the fact that you are trying to get to that bitch, Nick, but this is a little too much," Ethan said to David.

It had now dawned on everyone, just how real this had gotten.

The waiters were bringing in the bottles of the drink and even the music stopped.

They were placing them on a middle table, in front of everyone.

The guests were all talking to themselves, some were even taking pictures because they had never seen something like this.

Nick was looking with a mixture of anger and shock, the waiters were just bringing more and more bottles.

" What is he doing?!" Natalie wondered.

" I thought you said he couldn't afford to pay for your meal yesterday?" Nick angrily turned to her. " Why is he purchasing so much wine now?!"

Natalie couldn't believe it too, but then she smiled at Nick and came closer to him.

" Maybe he is just trying to act rich." She told him.

" What?"

" Maybe he doesn't even have the money and would probably return them afterward." She said, " David might be as poor as a church rat, but he is one of the smartest people I know."

Nick smiled because what she had just said was the truth.

" I see what you are doing." He pointed a finger at David and laughed. " You are probably going to return it afterward. I know your ways, pauper!"

" I can't believe that you would stoop so low." David shook his head. " Anyway, open the bottles."

Nick felt himself getting hot instantly, he couldn't understand what was going on.

He wouldn't have dared to open such a large number of drinks, but David was ordering that with so much ease.

Did David the pauper get rich overnight?!

Ethan and Dre saw the need to step in and they pulled David into a quiet corner to talk to him.

" What are you doing?" Ethan asked with hands akimbo.

" What do you mean what am I doing?" David frowned.

" That's over $360,000 worth of drinks that you are asking them to open," Ethan said. " Do you realize that this is not a joke anymore?"

"It was never a joke." David rubbed his nose. " Maybe I'm just fed up with Nick's bullshit and I don't want part in it anymore."

" That would make total sense if we had the money," Dre added. " But we don't. I don't want us to go to jail, please let's go home."

" No one is going anywhere," David growled. " Not until I am done with Nick and that traitor, Natalie."

He pushed away from his friends and returned back to watch his bottles being set on the table.

Nick and Natalie were now being thrown fully into panic mode.

Both of them thought David was just bluffing, but he was clearing their doubt over and over again.

" This can't be, no." Natalie shook her head in disbelief. " How is this possible?"

" Maybe he stole from someone rich." Nick wondered. " I can't trust that guy, David."

" Stealing would be the last thing David would do." Natalie refused to believe. " And if he truly stole from someone, he would have been in prison by now."

Nick's jaw clenched even tighter when David smiled at him and threw him a mock salute.

He rumbled on the inside of him, but there was nothing that he could do.

He would have wanted to buy his own bottles of wine, but his card didn't hold the funds to pay for such a heavy purchase.

What they didn't know was that one of the waiters was behind them and he heard everything they said.

He was worried that David was making such a large purchase without any solid proof of money, except for flashing his card.

After hearing what Nick and Natalie said about David, he took his phone and stepped out for a bit.

He made his call to the manager and requested his presence immediately.

The manager appeared after a few minutes with his fingers working on his phone.

" Tommy, this should be serious." He didn't even glance at the waiter.

" Sir, about the kid who ordered the red moon wine." He said.

" I know, right?! The boss is going to give us bonuses for selling so many drinks today!"

" Sir, I just heard his friends calling him poor." He told him. " They said he couldn't afford a bottle of wine yesterday."

The manager looked up from his phone and put it away immediately.

" What?"

" Sir, I don't want us to get into trouble if he can't pay for his drinks." The waiter said.

" Well, that's true. We might all lose our damn jobs!"

" What do we do, boss?"

" Let me step in, and then you show me the man." The manager said. " Then I will know if he will be able to pay or not."

The waiter and the manager returned to the hall and walked up to their fellow waiters.

The manager was stylishly shown David and he immediately grunted.

David's cheap suit and worn-out shoes didn't speak of wealth.

The manager adjusted his glasses and turned back to the waiters.

He only used a few words to get his point across to them and they got to work immediately.

They started to return the bottles the way that they had brought them, without giving anyone any explanation.

The look of glee on the faces of Nick and Natalie, they were almost jumping with joy.

David gave them an icy stare and this caused the manager to gulp down air.

"Is there a reason why my order is being returned?!' David barked.

" I'm sorry, sir, but I don't think that you would be able to pay for those." The manager apologized. " I think that it's better to be cautious than to be sorry later. We can't give you those drinks because of your history of not being able to pay for things, also, given the way you are dressed."

Everyone was watching what was going on and Nick and Natalie were openly gloating at him.

" About time someone said it." Nick laughed. " David is just an imposter! He is a poor man who is pretending to be rich."
