Alexa walked back into the room, leaving the door unlocked. Dominic walked in after her, he shut the door closed.

She was dressed up, taking up her only bag from the bed.

Dominic dropped the flowers on the table since she didn't take them.

"Won't you ask after your son?" He asked her.

"Why should I?" She huffed. "He didn't listen to me when I warned him about you."

He smiled like she had given him a compliment, but it was the other way around.

He walked over to her, she was standing by the window.

"If you didn't care about David, then why did you come here?" He rubbed his jaw.

"Because I got a call that you locked him up like a criminal." Her face stiffened with anger. "Why would you do that to him?"

"He went against me, you of all people should know that I am big on obedience." He said. "Didn't you tell him that?"

She was angry, so she picked up her bag and put it against her shoulder.
