VAN'S POV 3

“Get dressed. We're going to court today, and you'll be a witness in Sixto's case.” Dad said to me, but I remained sitting on the floor and silent. “Can't you hear me? I said we're leaving.” He added, so I slowly turned to him and smiled at my lips.

“Witness?” At the same time, I smirked as he frowned and there was a trace of astonishment on his face.

“What are you laughing at there? Just follow what I tell you to do, and we won't have a problem.” He said that he turned around at once, but even before he could get out of the door I immediately stopped him on the hem of his tuxedo and I knelt in front of him.

“I beg you, release Sixto. He has nothing to do with the crime you are accusing him of, and he is a very good friend to me.” I pleaded with Dad as I bowed my head and cried. But regardless of what plea I pleaded with him, his heart remained cold and hard. He did not listen to me, but made Sixto's situation worse in prison.
