Bahukatsu Dojo *** He hauled himself from a restful slumber. It was the first hour of sunrise and everyone was busy as always. The warriors had been disciplined to do labor not only in honing their skills but also in maintaining the Dojo’s upkeep. Dreygo and Sho had participated as well, such as hauling pails of water from the artisan wells, helping in the construction of perimeter defenses, and even plowing the fields for the new batch of crops. Two days of waiting for his next training had made him less idle for the said period. He and Sho had wonderful marvels at how the training of young ninja assassins took place inside the Dojo. They had not much time to see Elaine together with his rest as she had undertaken another training journey for herself. She was supervised by Jade and Master Yamoto as well. She did not disclose much of the objectives of her training but to her comrades, she looked like hell every time she rested in between her training. However, today marked the beg
Bahukatsu Dojo, Mountain Sheng, Cheena *** It was an utter acceptance that the Demon had to cope, that he could not defeat Master Jade in a fair fight. But with his full demonic power, the demon was sure that Jade would stand a tremendous chance of succeeding in a fight against her. It was the fifth day, he counted as he entered again the training hall. Dreygo would face another seemingly unending embarrassment. But this time, he was permitted to use his death sword. A weapon that could provide him a significant advantage against the scornful thought of the superior skilled master Jade. This was his final test and for the past few days, he was able to relish the learnings conveyed from the beautiful master. The use of ninja stars, kunais, smoke bombs, kyoketsu shoge – made up of a long chain and a knife at the end of it, and much more were taught and tested in a one-on-one fight with the charming master Jade. Even with difficulty, Dreygo coped with the basic use of weapons especial
Cheena, Earth *** A small inconspicuous tea house at the heart of Tsi Luen was known to have been frequented by Zi Lok’s competitor, the Fang Clan. They controlled 10% of the drug trade in all Cheena and they have been hiding from the Zi-Lok’s network, afraid to receive a brutal confrontation with the much more superior syndicate. But their few hideouts were slowly identified by Belrag and his ninja assassins and all members of the Fang found in the vicinity were unmercifully eliminated. Now, their last hideout in Tsi Luen was finally been compromised by the Zi Lok assassins. *** Two Fang clan bosses were sitting anxiously at the corner of the said tea house. Mr. Chiu, a fat Cheenean man, bald and with an oily face, sat across from the old and skinny Fang boss, Mr. Gongshin that loved tea more than booze. “We must flee this country, Mr. Gongshin. We will liquidate all our assets, our operations, and all our properties and split it halfway for both of us.” Chiu said apprehensively
Tsi Luen, Cheena, Earth *** Heading out of the Dojo saddened Dreygo and his comrades. The invaluable knowledge now sat inside their heads that the Masters had bestowed upon them, expectedly would make the demon a better fighter. Even though the thought of not winning against both masters had led Dreygo, not to his disappointment but a fruitful experience that he had failed to learn for countless years, in hell and his stint on Earth. The wisdom that Master Yamoto possessed had kept the Dojo on its utmost upkeep and produced disciplined fighters for the good of many. The one thing that Yamoto regretted was his student, the Zi Lok clan leader. Not only that he had produced bad fruit, but a fruit that scorned the Earth with death and suffering. Providing innocent lives undeserving of the wrath that Zi Lok had delivered. Master Yamoto had his utmost support to eliminate Belrag with his syndicate scums just to cleanse the slowly corrupted City of Tsi Luen from the grasp of the wretched
Sheng Mountain, Cheena, Earth *** “How did you manage to escape, Viriel?” Dreygo asked. “Yeah. About that. I made a compromise with him.” Viriel answered. Viriel pointed from behind the three and as they spun back, they saw the same features as Viriel and wearing also almost the same suit. They were flabbergasted by his presence. Even though, with the forest getting dimmer, ready to embrace the cold of the night, everybody felt safe and secure with the presence of the First ranking Angel before them. They sensed a strong aura that surrounded them like an invisible shield that not even wild animals would dare to attack. Seemed to have discouraged every evil that lingered in the forest with the presence of another angel. His face was somewhat gleaming and was mysteriously handsome but deadly at the same time in a dubious way. “Viriel told me about the path you have taken and I am willing to partake in this journey. But on one condition. If we are successful, Viriel will submit will
Zi Lok Fortress, Tsi Luen, Cheena, Earth *** The beautiful Zen garden that mantled the Fortress’ front yard was now strewn with dead bodies of the demon thugs that previously heaved the place. The Bahukatsu ninjas were standing before the dead Zi Lok goons. They were all staring at the majestic courtyard house, unexpectedly silent. As if to rush an attack would be a trap. The ninja assassins of Belrag were assumed to be present inside the Courtyard house as the Demon Lord planned for defense or an escape route. Dreygo sauntered along the cobbled paths of the Zen garden and towards the stairs connected to the large sliding Japanese-designed doors of the Courtyard house. The only sounds audible momentarily were his steps, the cold mountain breeze, and the water dripping at the automated miniature waterfall that made the Koi pond alive. This was the moment he has been waiting for. To kill another Demon Lord. But he was not sure if he was ready to face him without help from angels. Th
Zi Lok Fortress, Tsi Luen, Cheena, Earth *** Death Harbinger and the Lord of Envy standing in front of each other with their swords unsheathed. Dreygo and a few of the super ninjas behind him were ready for a fight against Belrag standing at the center of the largest room of the courtyard house. The atmosphere gradually grew heavy and it was felt by the humans present in the room. Elaine had her breathing increased and so was Sho. The air was thinning and getting hotter. It had little effect on the Bahukatsu ninjas and master Jade wearing their armor that served as a shield from the discomforting atmosphere. Everyone was ready for what was going to ensue. “I am ready to die, Dreygo, but it won’t be easy without the angel,” Belrag said. “Viriel will come, for that I am sure. But do not get too cocky without him. I might surprise you.” Dreygo responded. “Do you know what my capability is?” The Demon Lord asked. “Dancing?” Dreygo chuckled. “You are funny, Death Harbinger. This
Zi Lok Fortress, Tsi Luen, Cheena, Earth *** The Demon Lord hung about against the wall with the Death Sword still plunged through his chest. The grotesque form of a lifeless body had spoken, with the mocking face it wore. "You missed my head, Dreygo. You know that, right? The way to truly kill us is by severing our brains." Belrag chuckled. He slowly dislodged the two Kunais from his forehead and dropped them on the floor. The sounds of those metallic weapons clanged against the wooden floor. Belrag pushed himself away from the wall but the sword still lodged through his chest. Everybody was silent, looking at Belrag. The surprise was written on their faces. "I like this sword. What is its death count? A million?" Belrag said as he pulled the sword out from his chest. Blood continued to flow together with the sword, he was spluttering in the process. The horrendous scenery made other ninjas rose their food up to their mouths. "I won't make that same mistake again," Dreygo said
