A lot of students feared Blake for a number of reasons, the number one reason being that he was the son of the city's mayor, meaning that he had more power at his fingertips to influence things not only in the school, but in the entire city. The girls loved him because he had a lot of power to do as he wished, and also because he was one of the strongest students in their grade.
The boys would usually fight each other because of petty squabbles, or if they just wished to test out each other's strength, and in most cases, Blake would come out on top, proving that he was the strongest. The other boys respected and feared him for this. Coupled with the fact that he had political support from his father, he was basically untouchable by the city's police force whenever he would go out and commit petty crimes just for the fun of it.Blake was a wildcard that didn't care about whom his actions would affect, and now, he was ready to do inflict a world of pain on the two students standing in front of him.Hakim was the first to act, as he had quickly dashed to the side, but with his fast reflexes, Blake was able to grab him by the arm just as he was about to run away, then he lifted his entire body in the air, before swinging it towards the ground, causing him to yell out in pain."You really thought you could get away from me huh?" He asked. Still holding onto the latter's arm, he began to twist it until a snapping sound was heard. Blake had ripped Hakim's arm from its socket, truly fulfilling his desire of putting him through a world of pain, but still, he wasn't done.Raising his leg up, he stomped down on Hakim's back, over and over again, as blood began to spew from his mouth from the constant coughing and begging for mercy. This… this was unlike the other times when Blake would bully him. He seemed far more ruthless and unrelenting than the previous times.Hakim wasn't sure how much longer it would be until he couldn't keep on fighting anymore. Although he had a relatively strong body for someone of his age, Blake was on a whole other level with his physical strength alone. Hakim would have to be crazy if he thinks he would have any chance of winning against the other in a fight. All he could do was out back and let the beating unfold."Hey! Leave him alone!" Steve yelled, kicking Blake in the side of his ribs. Though he felt pain from the impact, the strike didn't carry the amount of force that would truly affect him. "What has he ever done to you to deserve this?!"Suddenly, Blake had stopped, and slowly turned around. With a wide smile on his face, his hand wrapped on Steve's face, he pushed the teenager towards the wall, not holding back his power as the head had crashed into the hard concrete, cracks forming on the surface as blood began to leak from his eyes, nose and mouth."Don't you dare poke your nose into my business! Got that!" He screamed, pressing his fingers hard against the latter's skull. At this point, Steve was overwhelmed with pain as his eyes were squinted shut, his lips Dearing to tear open as he could not bring himself to contain the pain that he was currently experiencing. From the ground, Hakim was finding it quite difficult to move his body. After the way he had been manhandled, he'd be surprised if he would even be able to move in the next week or so. Feeling the pain around his backbone, he was hoping that whatever Blake had done hadn't somehow impaired his ability to walk, as Hakim was finding it difficult to feel the sensation in his legs.'Steve… I need to save him before that bastard kill him!' Hakim told himself, but still, that wasn't enough to force his body to move. He was far too injured that would any small movement he would make, he would feel an intense pain that would urge him to stop moving his entire body altogether. 'I… need… to… move!'Blake had delivered a punch to the gut with his other hand, while still pressing against his skull with his right hand. From the looks of things, Blake was enjoying his current position, being the one who was on top. Being the one who was strong enough to beat those who were weaker than you to a pulp.He relished in this feeling as he delivered punch after punch, each forcing Steve's body to jerk and shake, coughing out more blood as his voice began to grow hoarse and became not as loud as it was at first."I'm so strong that I can fucking kill you and not get in trouble for it!" He yelled, his eyes wide open as he laughed hysterically, drawing his fist back as it came swinging down towards Steve's abdomen in the blink of an eye, the force it carried much more than the ones before."Hahahahahahaha!"Hakim was unable to move his body, but worst of all, was the fact that his friend was now the one suffering the brunt of Blake's madness, and all because of what? Because he just wanted to save his friend? Where did that land him? Now, he was the one in need of saving, and there was nothing Hakim could do to save him now.'I… failed to help him…' he thought, as his eyes began to close, he was starting to accept the fact that wasn't anything else he could do that would perhaps change the current situation that they were both in. Best case scenario, they made it out of their current predicament with their lives still intact.'No! I won't fucking give up!' He screamed in his head. 'Blake, today is the day that you die!' He declared, forcing all his energy to help him get back on to his feet."Aaahhh!!!" He screamed, squinting his eyes as he shook his head about. "I… will… kill… you!!!"Turning his head, Blake's gaze fell upon the boy laying on the floor, in a pool of his own blood, threatening to take his life. "Hahahah! You must be fucking crazy! Do you really think you can do anything to me in your current state?!" Blake couldn't contain his laughter as he had let go of Steve, allowing his body to slide to the floor and walked towards Hakim.'Hakim… what were you thinking?' Steve thought, barely clinging onto consiousness. Now standing in front of his head, he bend down on his knees to have a closer look at him."Just look at you," he said, grabbing Hakim's jaw with his fingers. " You are so weak. So helpless. So pathetic. You couldn't even put up a fight against me. I guess what your excuse is is that I'm the strongest freshman in the school. Heck, some people are even saying that I'm just the strongest student in the entire school."As much as I'd like to believe them, that just isn't the case. I'm just one of those guys who's really strong and likes picking on the weak. Other than my family, there really isn't anything special about me. "But, at least I'm not a pathetic weakling like you," pressing hard, Hakim began to produce loud noises as he was unable move his jaw like he usually would. With his hands, he grabbed onto Blake's hand, but it was no use. It was like trying to move a boulder with a broom stick. Hakim tried so much, put in some much effort that he had actually broke both of his wrists."That's not the only snapping sound that would be heard today," Blake said, with a sinister smile on his face. "Let's see what else would pop when I strike it, shall we?"'Hakim… what have you gone and do to yourself now?' Steve thought, before loosing consiousness.Blake dragged Hakim's body and placed him with his back facing the wall, head slumpt forward as his legs laid stretched on the floor. With his right leg, he bend his body forward, his leg pointing backwards diagonally. With his current position, he was ready to deliver a kick right at Hakim's jawline, but right as he was about to do so, a flash of lightning had descended from the sky, striking him, Hakim, and Steve, who were currently in the hallway. The electric charges carried by the flash of lightning was enough to make even Blake scream out in pain. In a desperate attempt to make the pain stop, he assumed that if he continued punching Hakim, that it would help alleviate the pain that he was currently feeling."Aaahhh! Why the fuck is this happening to me?! What have I done wrong yo deserve this?!" He couldn't stop yelling as the lightning threatened to bring his life to an end.__________I hope you all enjoyed the chapter. This is the second chapter today. The next Chapters will be posted the next day.See you all tomorrow.Based on the weather reports from earlier that day, it was stated that there were low chances of a storm happening. Because of this, everyone in the city went about living their lives, not having to worry about a sudden storm appearing out of the blue to ruin their plans for a perfect day. However, based on the current event that was taking place, it seemed as though the weather forecast channels were wrong on their predictions.A few more seconds later, and the shock of lightning had ended, and with it, everyone who had been hit was barely managing to cling unto consiousness. As a matter of fact, they were glad that they weren't just killed by the lightning strike."What…? Was that?" Blake was the first to ask, being the one who was still able to somewhat move his body after the ordeal. The lightning had left his clothes somehwt scorched, though no important parts had been burnt off. Then, there was his hair, he wasn't sure if he was imagining it, but he could pick up on the smell of
Although these two students were unsure of what to do, they were quite sure of one thing. The fact that someone who worked at the school had spotted them, definitely meant that they would be getting into trouble. As such, one of them was hoping that they would be able to bribe the man to keep his mouth shut."Hey, man. What's up? Why are you…?" One of then trained off in his speech,as the man began to laugh ominously. "Aren't you okay with the deal? What could you possibly want?" The boy continued to ask, sweat dripping down from his face as his body trembled, taking one slow step backwards then another."You know, the only reason I'm here is because of him, but I guess I can spare some of my time for you two," the man said, as be quickly ran forward the next second, catching both of the students off guard as they began to run in the other direction, hoping that they would somehow outrun this strange man."Don't even bother running! Your faith were sealed the moment I laid eye on you!
As the room was consumed by the bright glowing white light, no one could see a thing. Moments later, and the bright light began to dull down, and with that, came the realization that the spinning portal had stopped. Falling onto the floor, Blake and Carter were both glad to see that things had somewhat gone back to normal.Having stopped teleporting excessively, the first year students had collapsed as well, his body unmoving, laying on the floor. Looking towards the direction where the light had come from, Blake could tell that it was from this student.'Is this his ability?' he wondered, as his gaze shifted to Carter, who was still lying on the floor with his face facing the ground. 'What was he trying to achieve by doing that?'Behind a couple of the spectators' seats, after noticing that the bright light had died down, and that there was no longer a force pulling him out, Kayden decided to poke his head out from the side to see what was going on.'Blake? Carter?' Kayden was wonder
"Hakim! Get your butt over here!" A boy yelled, tossing the table that was in front of him towards the wall. Smashing into it, it made a loud noise as it fell and hit the floor, barely missing the student that was covering in fear in the corner, his body shaking non-stop as he did the best he could to look away. "I'll fucking kill you if you don't come out now!"The boy, who went by the name Hakim, had other ideas, knowing full well what would happen if he reveals himself. Using his ability, he had made himself invisible, hoping that it would be enough to keep himself safe from Blake."Too bad for you, my sense of smell will let me sniff you out in no time! I was giving you the opportunity to come out on your own, but now, you have left me with no other choice," he said, as his nose had suddenly transformed into the snout of a bloodhound. "If I find you this way, then what I planned on doing to you will be far worse!"Realizing that he no longer had much time to hide, his mind went in
Hakim had made it to the kitchen, and immediately, he walked towards the cabinets where the utensils were being kept. Pulling their doors open, his eyes scanned the contents of the cabinet, searching for where the knives were placed. As his eyes fell upon a set of sharp blades hung on a metallic rack, he proceeded to take out the rack holding all six of the knives in place out of the cabinet.'All of these knives look good. Should I just carry all of them? I mean, I have this bag with me that should have enough space for them all. Or should I just carried what I think would serve me the most?' he wondered, staring at all six of the knives. They were all of different shapes and sizes. Looking at a few of them, he was wondering whether they were even kitchen knives to begin with. For one, there was a knife that had a large bladed side, the area near the pointed end of the blade curving out, making it appear larger than one would expect. Then, from the area near the handle, there was a r
The world had always been a dangerous place, whether that be due to criminal, global spreading diseases, or economic crises such as global warming and food shortage. But now, there was a new crises that had hit the world by storm, one that had changed the lives of mankind drastically.Somewhere underground, there was a table where a group of people sat down on their respective chairs, and seated at the head of the table, was a young man with a scar across his right eye, with burns and cuts all over his body.He didn't wear a shirt, which gave everyone present a clear view of his battle scars all over his torso, abdomen, and shoulders. Some were already thinking if such markings could be found on every nook and cranny of his body, particularly the women, of course. His hair was dark brown and in messy curls. His hazel eyes would gaze upon everyone seated with him, his companions during these trying times. "What do you propose we do now. From the Intel we've been getting from outside,
