Although these two students were unsure of what to do, they were quite sure of one thing. The fact that someone who worked at the school had spotted them, definitely meant that they would be getting into trouble. As such, one of them was hoping that they would be able to bribe the man to keep his mouth shut.
"Hey, man. What's up? Why are you…?" One of then trained off in his speech,as the man began to laugh ominously. "Aren't you okay with the deal? What could you possibly want?" The boy continued to ask, sweat dripping down from his face as his body trembled, taking one slow step backwards then another."You know, the only reason I'm here is because of him, but I guess I can spare some of my time for you two," the man said, as be quickly ran forward the next second, catching both of the students off guard as they began to run in the other direction, hoping that they would somehow outrun this strange man."Don't even bother running! Your faith were sealed the moment I laid eye on you!" He yelled, quickly closing the distance like it was nothing. The student who was closest to him was the principal's son. Grabbing him by the arm, he pulled his body forward, then kneed him right in the gut, causing his body to hunch over forward and gasp from the impact. Not stopping there, the man grabbed him by the throat and began to suffocate him. Slowly, he struggled, struggled to take in the oxygen around him as the grip the man had around his throat was gradually increasing.Standing a few feet away, his friend was still gripped with fear, as the reality of their current situation began to Dawn upon him.'This guy… doesn't work in this school,' that was the only reasonable explanation he could come up with, as he was currently witnessing his friend being strangled by the strange man. Upon taking a closer look at the man's face, he realized that his entire face was covered in a dark-coloured mask with holes through which he could breathe just fine.Still, that just confirmed his suspecions pf this guy being a criminal.'Shit! What the fuck am I gonna do now?!' he screamed in his mind, his heart race increasing as his legs began to move on their own, doing the best they can to escape the current situation he was in.He ran, as fast as he could, and it wasn't long till he had made it to the entrance of the clinic. Breathing heavily, he couldn't afford to run any further. Gripping the handle tightly, he pulled it down, but the door refused to budge.'Fuck! Why won't this stupid door just open?!' he screamed in his mind, as he proceeded to bang at it repeatedly, his eyes lingering above his shoulder, praying that the man wasn't still after him. 'I need to get to safety before that deranged man kills me! He can have Carl for all I care! But I wanna fucking live!'From inside the room, Hakim could hear the sounds of someone banging against the door.'Who's that? Is it the school nurse? No, I don't think so. If she was the one outside the room, then she would've just opened the door with her key. So who's that outside that's knocking?" He wondered, going over to grab a long metallic pole attached to a bunch of medical devices and substances.Taking out everything else that was attached to it, now there was nothing but a long metallic pole in his hands.'If the person actually manages to come in, then I'll be ready for anything,' Hakim then placed the pole above his shoulder, his hands pulled back, ready to swing it at whatever comes through the door. However, after a while of knocking, the person on the other end had suddenly stopped. After a couple minutes, Hakim's guard began to lower, as he was wondering just what on Earth was going on.'Did they leave?' he asked himself, but the next second, he could hear the sound of someone screaming, and the sound of something banging against the walls repeatedly."Next time you'll learn not to disrespect your eldera!" He heard a voice come from outside, causing his hands to tremble as he gripped the metal pole tightly.'This is getting really dangerous now,' he thought. On the other side of the door, the strange man had finished dealing with the student named Carl, and now, he was on his way to deal with the other student. Having run as fast as he could, the other student was hoping that he would be able to outrun the man, but after running low of stamina, he had found himself standing in front of the school clinic. In a desperate attempt to get in, he struck, hit, and even banged his head against the door, hoping it would open. His fists, legs, and his head were bleeding, but he didn't care. All he wanted now was to be far away from the man he had encountered in the hallway.'Come on, open!' he screamed in his mind, feeling the red liquid trickling down his nose. Looking down at his hands, he could see his blood slowly dripping towards the floor. 'I need to get out of here before that guy finds me!'Suddenly, he began to hear footsteps coming from the direction he had just come from. Wanting to turn his head to see who it was, his body just wouldn't respond to him. The adrenaline coarsig through his veins quickly went to work, urging him to make a run for it, but just as he was about to take the first step, he felt a hand grip against his own tightly, forcing him to remain in place.Almost instantly, the man had closed the distance between him and the other student."Don't make this harder for me that it already is," he said, before proceeding to bang his body repeatedly against the walls. He didn't stop until he felt like the student had finally lost consiousness, before letting his body fall against the floor. Now, all his attention was focused on the bloodied door in front of him.'Time to get this over with,' he thought to himself, walking towards the door before placing his hand on it. 'Explode,' he commanded, and the door suddenly burst open, catching Hakim by surprise, still, he was prep and ready for someone to burst through the door, as he quickly rushed forward, swinging the metallic pole towards the side of the man's head.Seeing this, the man quickly went to grab the pole with one hand, before crushing and breaking a large potion of it and checking it to the side of the room.'What a pain. I'm over here trying to help him but this guy just wants to make he use force as always,' he thought, feeling irritated by the current situation. 'I guess I just have to stick to my old ways of doing things.'Still holding onto a piece of the pole, it allowed the man to pinpoint where exactly he was, before delivering a blow to the gut, knocking the wind out of him.'Now, to get him out of here,' picking up the student from the floor, he casually made his way towards the entrance, before disappearing into the shadows, taking him to a different location._________After a while of being unconscious, Hakim's eyes slowly flew open, and the first thing he noticed was the stench of rotting fish, causing him to regain his consiousness fully."Ugh! Where am I?" He asked, struggling to keep himself from vomiting. "And who are you?"The strange man who had taken Hakim away from the school stood before him, his arms folded as his head faced his direction."Don't you plan on answering my questions? Who are y-" cut off mid-sentense, a blow was delivered to his gut, forcing him to keep his words to himself. "Aaahhh!" He yelled, his body shaking uncontrollably."Shut your mouth! Aaahhh! Don't make this job harder for me than it already is!" The man ordered. "If you don't want me to kill you, that is!"Hearing the fact that this man would kill him if he didn't choose to remain silent, was all it took to prevent him from speaking another word.Once he saw that his words had an effect on the boy, he nodded his head in approval, before he began to explain what was going on."Let me start this by saying that you, Hakim Nes, are one of the first Immune in the entire Earth, and because of that, you will not be affected that will strike humanity before the end of this year," the man started off.'Huh? Immune? Virus? Just what in Earth is this lunatic babbling about?' he wanted to ask a lot of questions, but knew what would happen if he did so, so he chose to keep his questions to himself for now._________I hope you all enjoyed the chapter.I was meant to post this chapter the previous day but ended up being too busy to do so.I will still see if I can write the two chapters meat for today as well.As the room was consumed by the bright glowing white light, no one could see a thing. Moments later, and the bright light began to dull down, and with that, came the realization that the spinning portal had stopped. Falling onto the floor, Blake and Carter were both glad to see that things had somewhat gone back to normal.Having stopped teleporting excessively, the first year students had collapsed as well, his body unmoving, laying on the floor. Looking towards the direction where the light had come from, Blake could tell that it was from this student.'Is this his ability?' he wondered, as his gaze shifted to Carter, who was still lying on the floor with his face facing the ground. 'What was he trying to achieve by doing that?'Behind a couple of the spectators' seats, after noticing that the bright light had died down, and that there was no longer a force pulling him out, Kayden decided to poke his head out from the side to see what was going on.'Blake? Carter?' Kayden was wonder
"Hakim! Get your butt over here!" A boy yelled, tossing the table that was in front of him towards the wall. Smashing into it, it made a loud noise as it fell and hit the floor, barely missing the student that was covering in fear in the corner, his body shaking non-stop as he did the best he could to look away. "I'll fucking kill you if you don't come out now!"The boy, who went by the name Hakim, had other ideas, knowing full well what would happen if he reveals himself. Using his ability, he had made himself invisible, hoping that it would be enough to keep himself safe from Blake."Too bad for you, my sense of smell will let me sniff you out in no time! I was giving you the opportunity to come out on your own, but now, you have left me with no other choice," he said, as his nose had suddenly transformed into the snout of a bloodhound. "If I find you this way, then what I planned on doing to you will be far worse!"Realizing that he no longer had much time to hide, his mind went in
Hakim had made it to the kitchen, and immediately, he walked towards the cabinets where the utensils were being kept. Pulling their doors open, his eyes scanned the contents of the cabinet, searching for where the knives were placed. As his eyes fell upon a set of sharp blades hung on a metallic rack, he proceeded to take out the rack holding all six of the knives in place out of the cabinet.'All of these knives look good. Should I just carry all of them? I mean, I have this bag with me that should have enough space for them all. Or should I just carried what I think would serve me the most?' he wondered, staring at all six of the knives. They were all of different shapes and sizes. Looking at a few of them, he was wondering whether they were even kitchen knives to begin with. For one, there was a knife that had a large bladed side, the area near the pointed end of the blade curving out, making it appear larger than one would expect. Then, from the area near the handle, there was a r
The world had always been a dangerous place, whether that be due to criminal, global spreading diseases, or economic crises such as global warming and food shortage. But now, there was a new crises that had hit the world by storm, one that had changed the lives of mankind drastically.Somewhere underground, there was a table where a group of people sat down on their respective chairs, and seated at the head of the table, was a young man with a scar across his right eye, with burns and cuts all over his body.He didn't wear a shirt, which gave everyone present a clear view of his battle scars all over his torso, abdomen, and shoulders. Some were already thinking if such markings could be found on every nook and cranny of his body, particularly the women, of course. His hair was dark brown and in messy curls. His hazel eyes would gaze upon everyone seated with him, his companions during these trying times. "What do you propose we do now. From the Intel we've been getting from outside,
A lot of students feared Blake for a number of reasons, the number one reason being that he was the son of the city's mayor, meaning that he had more power at his fingertips to influence things not only in the school, but in the entire city. The girls loved him because he had a lot of power to do as he wished, and also because he was one of the strongest students in their grade. The boys would usually fight each other because of petty squabbles, or if they just wished to test out each other's strength, and in most cases, Blake would come out on top, proving that he was the strongest. The other boys respected and feared him for this. Coupled with the fact that he had political support from his father, he was basically untouchable by the city's police force whenever he would go out and commit petty crimes just for the fun of it.Blake was a wildcard that didn't care about whom his actions would affect, and now, he was ready to do inflict a world of pain on the two students standing in f
Based on the weather reports from earlier that day, it was stated that there were low chances of a storm happening. Because of this, everyone in the city went about living their lives, not having to worry about a sudden storm appearing out of the blue to ruin their plans for a perfect day. However, based on the current event that was taking place, it seemed as though the weather forecast channels were wrong on their predictions.A few more seconds later, and the shock of lightning had ended, and with it, everyone who had been hit was barely managing to cling unto consiousness. As a matter of fact, they were glad that they weren't just killed by the lightning strike."What…? Was that?" Blake was the first to ask, being the one who was still able to somewhat move his body after the ordeal. The lightning had left his clothes somehwt scorched, though no important parts had been burnt off. Then, there was his hair, he wasn't sure if he was imagining it, but he could pick up on the smell of
