151. Seven Holy Virtuous

Dietrich and Rudeth stood over Devon's limp body, panting heavily from the intense exorcism they had just performed. The room was filled with the acrid scent of sulfur, a lingering reminder of the demon that had possessed him.

As they caught their breath, they exchanged a solemn glance, knowing that the battle was far from over. They had expelled the demon, but there was no telling if it would return or if there were other demonic forces at play.

“I hope that will do for now,” panted Dietrich. “Roxanne, everyone, well done! But stay on your toes, we still have something to do, later on!”

“In the meantime, all of you are free to leave. Rest yourselves, you will need it afterwards,” continued Dietrich.

None of the people there were aware of the next steps necessary, but since they were so beaten up thanks to nonstop exposure of battles, everyone went quietly without any complaints nor questions.
