“Shit we are at a disadvantage here.”

Sora complained with a worrisome expression. He was currently sitting on the floor while trying to anticipate how their group was gonna survive.

Gabriel, Sora, Danny and their two new group members were currently in an underground tunnel. They were all surrounded by brick walls that curved upwards to the horizontal surface of the tunnel.

The tunnels were built right under the Dojo. There was currently a lightbulb in the spot where Group C  was currently planning their own strategy and the next lightbulb was a distance away from them. Since the next light was few distance down the tunnel, the tunnel wasn’t totally dark.

The whole groups where given a time durations of five minutes to get themselves settled in the tunnels before round two finally starts. The audience were still watching but they were only watching from the big screens in the arena.

It turns out there were hidden cameras installed throughout the whole tunnel. And all the remaining participants were each given a wrist band that was currently conveying their stats so once a person is knocked out unconscious, the teachers in charge of the tournament will definitely know.

And right now the new Group C was currently taking a while to get acquainted with each together. But the group was currently feeling that they were lacking in terms of strength.

“But we got Danny. He’s strong” Gabriel suggested as he gestured his right hand towards Danny.

“Yeah you’re right but let me tell you something you don’t know. The other groups has two strong members, each  from The Strongest Five and we...What do we have? We have just a blue Gi students and two girls”

“Hey! I don’t like the way you’re speaking. Are you trying to say we’re weak” A girl with long black hair retorted back at Sora. She had beautiful black eyes and a long waist-length. Her most noticeable physical trait was her slender yet curvaceous figure which was accentuated by her red gym outfit. And she  was also currently a teenager. To cut story short she was a beautiful girl and Sora was not making a very good first impression before her right now.

“Oh sorry that’s not what I really mean”

“Then what do you mean? You just practically called both of us weak.”

“I’m sorry.” Sora apologized with an embarrassed facial expression.

“Hey are you just gonna stand there and tolerate this boy’s insult?”

“Umm...me?” The second girl with a dyed green hair answered with a bashful expression. She was looking rather shy now that the attention was focused on her.  She had beautiful blue eyes. She was quite beautiful and had a curvy body too. While she was wearing a blue gym outfit.

“Yeah you. You’re the only other girl here apart from me right”

“Um..I think...” She was so shy that she couldn’t even complete her statement while stuttering.

Everybody on the group were already gazing at her with a baffled expression. They were all surprised at how self conscious she was.

“I may have to agree with Sora he’s right we are at a disadvantage” Danny blunted out as he took back the attention of the whole group.

Everyone became suddenly quiet for a moment after hearing him before he continued to speak.

“I’ll have to even say that we’re the weakest group among the three group involved in this semi finals.”

The black haired girl immediately said with a carefree attitude “Okay we are the weakest group then so what? What do you expect us to do?”

“We need a plan!”

Everyone in the group immediately gazed towards Gabriel who was currently folding his arm while leaning to the wall of the tunnel.

“So what do you have in mind regular human?”

“We all know that the other groups are stronger than us so we can’t go into offense carelessly. We’ll have to plan out our movements well.”

Gabriel got off from the wall and walked forward.

“But for us to generate a plan we have to know what all of us can individually do. So I’ll go first”

Gabriel placed his right hand on his chest and said

“I am Gabriel. My ability is explosive-burst in my arms and legs. My Enhanced hands and legs makes the impact of my blows and kick way more stronger like super punch. And I can also phase through object and people but I can only phase once every hour. That’s my limit.”

The blacked haired girl smiled and said “ Well it’s nice to meet you Gabriel-Kun. My name is Agatha. My Ability is telekinesis, I’m able to move people or objects towards at will.”

“Well I’m Sora, i can teleport anywhere anytime so I’m at your service.” Sora immediately winked towards Agatha. Agatha just harrumphed and looked away.

“I’m Danny. My ability is defense. I can create a forced field on my skin which makes me indestructible for a while. The indestructibility can only last perfectly for an hour after that it won’t be so perfect anymore. I’ll start to feel little pain from attacks little by little like scratches. In order words my body reaction to attacks increases with time.”

The shy green haired girl slowly started speaking as she stuttered “Well my.. my ability is to..Echo..I can project loud sounds...and my name is..Yua”

The group members all got acquainted with themselves with themselves first before they began moving into planning.

Danny said “First things first who’s gonna be our king?”

“Well the conditions on the screen states that if the king is knocked out we all lose automatically but if we are knocked out ourselves we lose individually.” Sora said.

“Hmm..so there’s no doubt about it. We must protect the king at all cost and not let the king get knocked out.  So What do you think Gabriel-Kun?”

Agatha looked towards Gabriel as she waited to hear his response. Gabriel was startled for a second. He was surprised Agatha who was a red Gi student was asking for his opinion.

He gulped and belatedly spoke “ Well just from hearing the rules, one thing is for sure we can’t let our King get knocked out. And the fact every group went their own way around the tunnels makes it clear. This is definitely a game of hide and seek.”

“Are you trying to say we hide our King?”

“Yes Danny Senpai. We all know that our opponents are strong mostly the members of The Strongest Five. We can’t risk moving around with our kings. If I’m right the other groups would be doing the same thing”

“Yeah I see...besides if I was an attacker I would focus solely on knocking out the king which would totally eliminate the group I’m fighting. So yes moving with the king is a bad idea.” Danny concluded.

The rest of the group members were became quite. It was as if they were all thinking. The silence lasted for a few seconds until Gabriel opened his mouth..” Yua do you mind becoming our king?”

“Umm..me?”

It was the exact same reply she gave to Agatha before. Gabriel noticed she was really a shy person and nobody can definitely tell how she would really react in a fight so it won’t be wrong to actually make her the king so that they can all protect her.

“Sorry..but..why me?”

“Yeah  Gabriel-kun why her? I thought you would volunteer to become the king. You’re the one that needs protecting the most” Agatha retorted.

Gabriel was baffled. He really wasn’t expecting Agatha’s interjection as usual she also had a perception of him being weak.

‘Did she actually allowed me to plan so that I can choose to become the king?’

Gabriel gulped and then said “ The reason why I’m asking Yua to become our king is because of her Echo projection. If she’s ever found while we are away she can project sounds for help no matter where we are and then we can rush back to protect her before things gets out of hand. So she’s the perfect person to become the king”

Yua stuttered and said “Okay..then there’s no..problem..I’ll become the king.”

“Okay then Danny Senpai can you do something for me?”

“Okay what’s that?”

“I will like you to become our king's personal guard. In other words i want you to stay with Yua and guard her. Hope you don’t mind?”

Danny lowered his head and glanced down like he was thinking.

“Look I know everybody wants to contribute to take down the opponents but if we lose our king we’re all screwed and I trust only you to be able to do that. Worst case scenario our king may be found while we are away so I need you to defend her till we can come back for back up if needed.”

Danny looked at Gabriel and smiled. He really anticipated about the decision for a while but he found out that Gabriel was making the best decision so far. Agatha might have jokingly handed him the mantle to plan but he was surprisingly doing a good job at it “Okay I’ll guard Yua”

Gabriel didn’t understand why Danny answered with a smile but wondering about why Danny was smiling was the last thing on his mind now.

“Thanks Danny Senpai” Gabriel gave a bow.

“You really don’t need to do that now. We are all equal here. I could even say you’re the captain of this group”

“Yeah so what are we doing Captain Gabriel?” Sora slapped Gabriel’s at the back.

“Ouch that hurt”

“I’m sorry”

“Well sorry is not gonna cut it!”

“Are you shouting at me because I called you  captain!”

“Will you too just get your shit back together!” Agatha scowled as she screamed at both Sora and Gabriel.

Gabriel and Sora immediately kept quiet again as they got their composure of seriousness back. Gabriel might be the captain but something was still clear Agatha here was the one who gave the orders when needed beside she was the only red Gi student here.

“Gabriel-kun so what are we gonna do?”

Gabriel expression became stern “ Of course we are gonna attack. We going to sneakily go for our opponent’s king. We would have to avoid fighting with anybody who’s not a king. But there’s one person we must beat if we ever encounter him weather he’s a king or not”

“And who’s that?” Agatha curiously asked

“Arata.”
