The five minutes time given to everybody before the start of round two was already about to end. All the members of the Group C had already gone through their plan.

The remaining thing left was for Yua to assume the status of a king by clicking the red button on her bracelet. The whole students participating in the round two were each given a bracelet.

With her clicking her red button, she automatically becomes the king of her group and once she takes the role of the king, no other person in her group will ever be able to take that role from her even if they clicked the same red button on their bracelets.

Yua clicked her bracelet’s red button and her status as the king of Group C was immediately activated. The moment she clicked the red button on the bracelet, it immediately gave out a blue glow while the rest of her other member’s bracelets gave out a yellow glow. It was only the bracelets of kings that were capable of glowing blue.

The moment Yua took the status of the king a slight sense of tension was immediately felt from every member in their Group. The time for the intense round two was finally here. And the funny thing was, only two people were going to advance to the finals at the end.

This was a round where everybody were supposed to be enemies but this round was designed in such a unique way that you actually need allies to survive. It wasn’t a matter of choice anymore, it was a matter of need. So it was definitely clear that without allies you won’t even make it no matter how strong you really strong are.

The atmosphere immediately became tensed with the noticeable glow from Yua’s bracelets. At that moment there was a sudden silence among the group members. Everybody were probably thinking that this was finally it. The time has finally come. The round two were the probable winners will emerge. Any slight mistake in this round two will definitely lead to a carry over for next year. This was all they were all thinking except for Gabriel.

‘Damn this guys are so tensed that they’ve already forgotten that we are supposed to start moving’

Gabriel immediately open his mouth “Yua! Danny! You know what to do. You guys should start moving now and also if you guys are ever get found, you also know what to do”

Danny understood what Gabriel said and nodded with a response “ Yeah”

“Alright let’s go!” Danny tapped Yua’s shoulder  and they both started running down the tunnel away from the rest Group members.

The rest Group members could still see Yua and Danny running away because of the light bulb positioned a few distance down the tunnel but Danny and Yua were still bound to get to a dark place under these tunnels because not everywhere in these tunnels were actually having light bulbs, and that was the whole essence of tunnels. Beside you can’t really call it a tunnel if some part of it isn’t dark.

*Ding-Dong*Ding-Dong*Ding-Dong*

The whole place became all noisy from a sudden alarming sounds of a ringing church bell. Gabriel’s heart skipped a beat as he heard the disturbing sounds. At that moment his hands became sweaty. The feeling that came with the bell was like the tense feeling from an End-time. Well not that anyone of them had actually experienced the prophesied End-Time in the Christian religion but one thing was for sure they were all tensed.

The reason for the tensed atmosphere was because this sound was the start signal of round two, finally they were now in the wild.

The sounds of the bell rang all through the tunnel alerting the other groups. As it turns out there were actually inbuilt speakers in the walls of the tunnels. The Dojo really did a good job in setting up the tunnels for round two. It was a perfect venue  for the round two.

The sounds of the bell went on for about a minute until it finally stopped. And then the tunnels became immediately silent. Only the sounds of flowing water were heard and maybe the movement of rats but as far as human movements were concerned, it was as quiet as the wild. The silence immediately became an alarm on it’s own. It was then the whole of Group C members all knew that it was finally time. It was time to hunt.

“Let’s move.” Agatha started walking slowly while Gabriel and Sora followed her.

They continued walking through the tunnels until they got into to the area where it was slightly dark, they were already far away from their initial spot where there was a light bulb. They walked further and arrived at a spot with three different tunnel paths. At this point they were now three different paths in the tunnels . One path was directly in front of them which was straight ahead while there were two other paths which was located at their left and right. It was like a three-way junction in roads except that this was a junction with tunnels instead of roads.

The whole place was still as quiet as the wild and the whole Group C members were in no way planning to change that factor. Besides a hunter had to be deliberate with his movements if he intends to catch his prey. A slight mistake in his movements can risk him becoming the prey that’s if he was actually hunting a dangerous prey at that.

The whole place was still quiet except for the sounds of flowing water that felt more like normal silence in the group members ears.

Water slightly below knee level was currently flowing from the left path and to the right path of the tunnel junction.

Sora walked closely to the left end of the tunnel path they were currently on while Agatha did the same for the right side. They both deliberately peeped at the left and right path to check if it was clear. They had to be careful. It was true they were currently on the hunt but they had to be careful unless they would become the ones hunted.

The left and right paths of the tunnel junction was confirmed to be all clear. They all proceeded ahead by going through the path of the tunnel in front of them rather than taking either right or left path. The whole tunnel was still silent as they proceeded. The silence was a proof that every other persons were just as cautious as them.

And then a loud bursting sound was heard. It was followed by the screams of some people.

“Hmm..Looks like people are fighting already” Agatha said while they kept walking forward.

“Well we will still need to approach to see if there’s any king over there” Sora continued walking beside Agatha.

The three of them all walked cautiously as they tried to locate the noise source. They walked until they came to the end of the tunnel which was already leading to a big open square space with pillars. The space was as big as a hall.

As they predicted some people was currently fighting.

They were now able to see the people fighting in the underground space.

They were actually two groups fighting. Since there were only three groups available, then these two opposing groups had to be Group A and Group B. There were up to four people fighting and among them were..

“Kim and Hideyo” Sora became startled as he noticed them.

Kim. The number two member of The Strongest Five was currently having a one on one fight with Hideyo who was number three strongest.

The pressure between these two were overwhelming.

Their aura right now was not a welcoming one.

The other two students fighting each other must have both accompanied the members of The Strongest Five.

“Shit such great pressure..they are really strong” Gabriel reacted in awe. Just feeling their pressure while they fought felt like a burden on their bodies mostly Gabriel’s body since he was a regular human. His knees began to feel a little heavy. It was the heaviness in his body that was the real issue.

‘So these are the powers of the members of The Strongest Five. Shit how are those other two able to fight under this pressure’ Gabriel struggled with the heaviness of his body.

“Hey are you okay?” Sora asked out of concern.

“I’m fine.”

“Let’s see if any of them is the king..” Gabriel looked ahead. They studied the bracelet in the wrists of all the four fighters.

“They are all normal Group members including Hideyo and Kim. There’s actually no king here.” Agatha said with a sigh of relief.

Her relief was quite understandable because if any of The Strongest Five members were to possess the status of a king, things would be very hard for them. As far as they want to win this round they won’t be able avoid fighting with that member of The Strongest Five if he was a king.

The bracelet in the hands of all the four fighters were all glowing yellow so they were not really welcome here.

They watched as Kim body became totally engulfed with yellow energy as he dashed and clashed his fist towards Hideyo. Surprisingly Hideyo was counteracting Kim’s attacks very well given the fact he was lower in ranking than Kim. It was then they noticed that these guys were just fighting out of pure feelings while forgetting the goal at hand. They were wasting energy fighting each other. To win they had to avoid every other person while trying to find their opponents king.

“Let’s go” Gabriel started walking away in an irritated manner. It turns out the pressure of the two members of The Strongest Five wasn’t really good on him.

They all started walking backwards in their tunnel path to try another route in the tunnels. They were looking for a king. The fact those guys were fighting out there means their kings must be around.

They all approached another tunnel route at their right when they heard a guy mumbling. They sneaked up to end of the wall path which was connected to another path of a tunnel located at the right side.

They cautiously peeped at the new tunnel path and noticed a guy standing. He had a black hair and was currently wearing a blue gym outfit and most importantly he was wearing a blue glowing bracelet.

Indeed it was looking too good to be true. He was standing and mumbling to himself in the new right tunnel path. No it wasn’t a path it was a dead end tunnel. He was currently waiting and hiding away there.

In front of Group C on their actual tunnel path if they walked further and ignored the left dead end path there was another tunnel  junction up ahead but this time it was only a left path and a right path. In other words if they continued walking a few distance further on their tunnel path there were only two other path that could be taken which was the left and right path up ahead.

And just like the three-path tunnel junction they encountered the first time this one had water still flowing from the right path to the left path. So the sounds of flowing water filled the silence in the area.

So this was really a perfect spot to hide a king.  It was kind of safe and the good part was that he was all alone. But luckily for the Group C members they found this king. This king and his group were about to get exterminated from round two.

The members of the Group C deliberately watched the king for a minute. And there was no doubt about it. This king was all alone.

The Group C members all exchanged eyes and hands signals like soldiers hiding in the shadows. And then they all immediately came out to the entrance of the dead end path were the King member was currently standing alone.

“Oh shit” The king member was startled the moment he saw all three Group C members.

“Yeah that’s right you and your group are all about to go night night now” Sora gave out a wry smile while waving his hands towards the guy.

The lonely king felt frightened for a few seconds but then he immediately chuckled.

It wasn’t too hard to notice after that.

“It’s a trap!”

The moment Agatha screamed they all felt this burden on their body. It was due to the pressure of a very strong presence. Gabriel immediately turned around to see a figure already approaching towards them. He was still in the dark ending of the tunnel where the water was flowing.

He kept getting closer as he approached casually. He was already close by when they noticed he was wearing a red gym outfit. Both his hands were tucked in his pockets.

Upon seeing the person Gabriel grumbled in his mind ‘shit do we just suck with bad luck or what? Maybe this bad luck is mostly mine. Of all the people we could run into why him? Shit! Why Arata.’

The sounds of Arata’s steps became more  louder as he got more closer. There was a big smile on his face as he saw the three Group C members. Then only one word came out of his mouth in an excited manner.

“Yo!”
