*Bah*

The whole stadium was totally silent and only the sounds of solid hits were heard. The sounds were caused due to Ashlee fists crushing Gabriel’s face.

“I’ll just have to go more faster with my hit then” Ashlee shrieked as she continued hitting Gabriel in the face while she was still on top of him.

*Bah*Bah*Bah*

“You wanna Die??? Then fine by me!!!”

Ashlee raised her fist to punch Gabriel one more time but before her fist was could hit Gabriel’s face again she was stopped by Nakamura Sensei. Her fist was stopped from moving any further in air because he was already holding her wrist.

“Hey relax. Your time is up already” Nakamura Sensei ordered Ashlee.

Immediately Ashlee heard Nakamura sensei’s voice she got up from Gabriel. Her eyes became widened at the scene in front her. It was as if Nakamura sensei voice liberated her from her Sadistic nature.

Gabriel was lying on the floor with his whole face covered with blood. He was unrecognizable. His face was all swollen to the extent his eyes and mouth were hardly seen.

“I guess you win this round Ashlee. You made him totally unconscious” Nakamura sensei said while staring at the beat up Gabriel.

But then...

“Huh?” Nakamura sensei belatedly said with a shocked expression.

“He raised his hand up! He’s still conscious”

“He’s still conscious!!!”

The audience screamed out at the scene in front of them. Gabriel had raised his right hand  up giving the audience a thumps up.

[Wow! Unbelievable! We have a Winner!!!]

[Team D wins!!!]

The whole audience became all noisy at the announcement.

“Unbelievable...he kept himself conscious throughout that pain.” Daisuke said with an astonished look on his face.

“Seems so...but Ashlee really did beat him up hard though to the extent he can’t speak. He was unable to speak so he raised his hand up to prove he was still conscious. But man..I’ll have to give it to him he has quite a resolve” Daniel said.

“Team D!..Team D!..Team D!!!” 

The whole audience were screaming Team D. Majority of the audience were celebrating Team D’s victory by screaming its name.

“It looks like everyone is happy our boy won.” Tom said with a smile.

“ It seems so but it’s quite natural” Machia said while looking at the scene.

“Huh?”

“Team D was the team which had very little odds of winning. And it’s human nature to always support the weaker team who managed to grab victory”

“But they still deserve the win though”

‘Yeah they did. But the thing is he sustained too much injuries in just his first fight. The goal he’s shooting for is far too high for a regular human like him. But all I can do now is to support him’ Machia thought as he glanced towards Gabriel.

Gabriel immediately became unconscious right after the winner was declared. Ashlee walked away with a disappointed look on her face as she stared down. She was not just disappointed that she lost but she was also disappointed in herself. Her sadistic nature was something she wasn’t proud of.

The Dojo medic immediately came into the battle ground . Gabriel, Sora and William were transported off the battle ground on a backboard since all three of them were unconscious.

“Hel..”

“Hello..”

Gabriel slowly opened his eyes. Everything he saw were all blank. He could see nothing but white light until the white light started to clear out.

“Hello! Gabriel?”

The next thing he saw was the face of Sora. Just like how he slowly regain his sight, he also slowly regained his sense of hearing till he started hearing Sora words from his moving lips.

“Gabriel can you hear me?”

“Huh?” Gabriel belatedly answered. He was feeling a slight headache as he woke up.

“Can...you... hear me?” Sora said as he took his face closer to Gabriel’s face.

“What the hell are you doing? Do you wanna kiss me or what?” Gabriel shrieked.

“Hahaha..I can see you’re conscious now.”

“Yeah” Gabriel belatedly answered as he used his hands to feel his face. He found out there was no injuries left on his face.

“Can i get a mirror please?” Gabriel asked

“Oh here it is. I grabbed one for you even if you don’t need it” Sora handed Gabriel the Mirror and said “Ahh don’t worry, you’re still ugly. You have nothing to worry about”

“What? You do know I’m your senior right?” Gabriel shrieked as he made a silly face.

“Hahaha..a senior that was beaten” 

Gabriel looked at the mirror to check his face. He immediately noticed he had no scar at all. He knew his face was all swollen from the fight but right now it was as if nothing happened.

“Healers they quite amazing right?” Sora immediately said with a smile.

“Yeah” Gabriel answered as he admired his face. He knew how amazing healers are but when he stared as his reflection inside the mirror he couldn’t help it, he was still astonished by their work.

“We sure need a healer in this Representative tournament. It’s going to get more tougher than this henceforth.” Sora said.

“But thanks to you we are in the second round.  Thanks Gabriel. I heard what you did. You didn’t give up” Sora said in a grateful manner.

“It’s no problem besides it was the least I could do. I felt I was slowing you down.” Gabriel said while feeling sympathetic towards himself.

“Yeah you were you miserable senior!”

“Huh?”

“But I can’t ask for anyone better. I’m actually glad we’re both on the same team. You didn’t give up even when the whole odds were against you.”

“...”

“And because of that perseverance of yours we’re in round two. I let my guard down and because of that we almost lost but we won because of you.”

“...”

“I don’t know why you’re feeling sorry for yourself but you won! So you should raise your head high. I’m glad to be both your teammate and your friend.”

Gabriel looked and Sora with his eyes widened and then smiled.

“Then let’s go win this round two then” Gabriel said as he stretched out his right hand with his clenched fist towards Sora.

*Fists-bump*

“Alright!” Sora replied Gabriel with a fists-bump and a smile.

“What we lost?”

A loud voice of someone shrieking out in surprise was heard. It was William’s voice, it turns out he was in a room lying down. The walls of the rooms were all white. The room gave the vibe of a patient ward.

“How’s that even possible? They couldn’t have beaten Ashlee? No one in our White GI can beat her” William said with a stupefied expression.

“They didn’t. She beat them up pretty badly” Rin said in a nonchalant manner. She was the blue Gi student in Team M who got defeated by Daniel. Rin was currently in William’s room. She actually knew William very well. 

“Then how did they win big sis?”

“I heard they won because of that enhanced kid”

“Him again? That bastard!” William harrumphed in dissatisfaction as he clenched his fists tightly with the bed sheets.

*Slap*

Rin gave William a slap in the head.

“Huh? Big sis what’s that for?”

“Don’t feel down. You gave it your all. It’s okay to lose beside I lost too have you forgotten?” Rin said in attempt to cheer William up. Rin was really the optimistic kind of person. She always saw the good in every situation rather than the bad.

William immediately looked at her with a confused look for a second and belatedly gave a slight smile.

“ you’re right. Next time I’m gonna make sure I win!” William said in an optimistic manner.

“Now that’s the spirit”

“Big sis how long have I been unconscious?”

“Huh? I think it’s been two hours now”

“Huh?” William reacted in with a shock.

“That means the first round is already over by now!”

“Yeah you’re right”

William expression became calm all of a sudden as he asked.

“Let me guess... among the seven remaining teams that advanced to round two. They were all among them?”

“You mean the strongest five?”

“Yeah”

“Yeah they were all among the teams that advanced to round two.”

“Then round two is going to be tough then” William concluded.

Gabriel and Sora were both walking through the hallways of the powered humans section.

“This round two of the tournament is going to be really tough. I’m sure they are all going to be in it”

“What do you mean by that?” Gabriel belatedly asked.

“I meant all the strongest five are going to be in this round two”

They both walked through a door and arrived back at the arena. The audience was still giving out their enthusiastic noise in the arena.

Both Gabriel and Sora walked to the middle of the stage were other powered humans students were also gather.

Among all the powered humans students gathered, five students including Daniel were seen discussing. They formed a separated crowd from the rest powered human students who had gathered in the middle of the battle ground. They were all wearing red Gi. Gabriel looked at them while he and Sora was approaching the middle of the battle ground. 

Gabriel tried asking “Apart from Daniel and Kim are the rest of them -”

“Yeah. They all are the strongest Five”
