The Strongest Five

The strongest five. The reason why they’re called that name isn’t just because they’re merely strong. There has always been strong students in red Gi but they were the prodigies who never went through the rank of the blue Gi.They all stole the rank of the red Gi from their seniors at that time. 

They have always participated in the Representative tournament that was held inside Stratton Dojo every year. The Representative tournament was the reason why they all got ranked in the first place.

They’ve all been participating in the Representative tournament for four years now and in that time frame they’ve all filled the positions from the first to fifth best fighters in the entire Dojo, with each players maintaining their exact positions throughout the years. They all competed for the role of the best fighter but their positions didn’t seem to change throughout the years, Daniel always won that role which made him the number one strongest. It was due to this fact they were given the title ‘The Strongest Five’.

The strongest five has always been the best among the powered human students for the past four years now but not one of them was able to advanced to Demons Battle as a Representative fighter. The main reason for that was because they were not yet above the age of sixteen.

One of the fighter’s requirements to participate in Demons Battle is that ‘the fighter must be at least sixteen years of age. They were all twelve years of age when each of them became a red Gi student. Even the seniors which they stole the red Gi ranks from had already advanced to Demons Battle long before them. These seniors didn’t advance because they won against the strongest five, they only advanced because they were of age to participate in Demons Battle and they were second best compared to them.

If the strongest five were already of age at that time, they would have definitely advanced to Demons Battle. But finally this year they were all already Sixteen and all wanted to advance to Demons Battle. 

Unexpectedly this year the rules were different, only one powered human student would advance to Demons battle instead of four students. They all knew in order to advance this year they all had to become at least number one best. None of them were comfortable with their positions if it was not going to make them a representative fighter of Stratton Dojo in Demons Battle.

In order words the Representative tournament of this year was an all out war between the Strongest Five for the role of the Representative fighter. The only person defending his number one role was Daniel.

Right now the strongest five gathered among the remaining fourteen students standing in the middle of Battle as they discussed among themselves before the start of round two. 

“Daniel don’t for one second think that you’ll be number one this year?” A boy with the blue hair color said as he glanced towards Daniel. Both his hands were in the pocket of his red gym outfit as he kept a cool composure.

“Huh? Arata looks like you’ve actually forgotten your position around here. When you’ve beaten the rest of them here who’s currently above you then you can challenge me. But for now you’re still too weak to challenge me.”

Daniel glanced back at Arata with wary eyes.

“Hm..we will see about that then” 

Arata immediately gave a slight grin.

“It’s as you’ve said we will see about it. I’ll just have to teach you the difference in our abilities then”

“Hey arata! You talk too much. Don’t go around talking big. You do know you have to give seniors respect right? After all you are still number five...I’m I correct?” Kim immediately interjected right after Daniel was finished with his statement.

“Don’t go putting mouth your mouths on things that doesn’t concern you Kim.”

“...Huh? Have you forgotten who’re talking to?”

“Of course I know who I’m talking to”

“You of all people should know you should talk to your seniors with respect. You may be part of the strongest five but you’re currently the weakest among us. So mind the way you talk.”

Kim still had a smile on his face even though  he was seriously warning Arata.

“You fool”

“...what did you just say?”

Kim was still smiling but it was very clear that his facial expression was already changing. His smiling facial expression was already beginning to change to a pissed off look.

“It’s like I said you’re a fool. You seem to be forgetting something.”

“...”

“Today is the Representative tournament not one of our regular training days. And today I can challenge anyone I want. But you see the thing is...”

“...”

“You’re putting your mouth where it doesn’t concerns you. I have no interest in challenging you, so stop acting like you’re Daniel because in this tournament you’re not worth anyone’s time. I’m only interested in challenging number one.”

Kim was now pissed. His changed facial expression was totally obvious now. He had a dissatisfied look. He took a step forward towards Arata and said..

“I wanted to wait till the official start of round two. But you know what it won’t be that bad if we both start our own round two now”

Kim took his next step towards Arata nonchalantly. He was about to move his right hand but he was restrained. 

Kim wrist was held back in place by a tall boy. He was fairly tall, somewhat-lanky build.       He had eyes which were thin, blue in color and heavily lidded.

The color of his hair was unknown at the moment due to the fact he was wearing a hoodie under his red gym outfit.

And right now he was still holding onto Kim’s wrists.

Kim immediately glared towards him.

“What the hell are you doing Hideyo?”

“I’m the one who’s supposed to be asking you that question ? Why don’t you wait till the start of round two. It’s as Arata said we would all see what you will do during round two.”

Kim gritted his teeth in an angered and repulsive manner.

“What gave you?...I mean what gave you the audacity to stand before me and talk to me like that?..you both are really beginning to get on my nerves!”

There was a sudden sullen expression on Kim’s face.

Immediately the aura around Kim’s body began changing. There was a slight disturbance in the atmosphere just around his body. Hideyo immediately took his hands off Kim’s wrist and instinctively took two steps back.

“..Huh? Round two has not yet started and you’re already fired up. You’re not going to back down are you? Well it’s a matter of defense on my end”

A red energy was immediately seen around  Hideyo’s right arm.

“What is this intense pressure?”

“It’s Kim and Hideyo!”

“Are they really about to fight?”

The awe-inspiring pressure caused the attention of the other powered humans students standing with them on Battle Ground to focus on them.

Right now they were all feeling the the intense pressure emitting from Kim’s and Hideyo’s bodies.

Because of this everybody all had their eyes on Kim and Hideyo. The strongest five had the attention of everybody from the very beginning but because of the current unexpected situation between Kim and Hideyo everyone’s attention were now locked in on them more than ever.

The audience attention were locked in due to excitement but for the other Powered humans students standing with them on the battle ground, their attention were locked in due to terror. They were the ones currently feeling the intense pressure pouring from both Kim and Hideyo.

Shivers all struck down the entire body of the other students. Funny enough this was as a result of them showing fight spirit. They have not even started fighting yet. How do they expect themselves to fight against such monsters in the coming round two. This was the thought that were going on in the student’s mind including Gabriel’s mind.

Gabriel has been staring at them since he and Sora walked into the Battle Ground. He and Sora were currently standing a little distance away from the strongest five.

“Let me teach you the difference in our strength Hideyo!”

Kim took another step forward and his pressure increased resulting the air around his body to suffer from disturbance.

“Kim! Hideyo!  Enough!”

A voice dominating the entire atmosphere was heard. It was Daniel’s voice.

Daniel was already standing inbetween Kim and Hideyo.

“When did he?”

“He’s so fast I didn’t even see him move. He just appeared in between Kim and Hideyo.”

“As expected from number one.”

The audience were still attentively watching what was happening.

“Why don’t you both save up your strength for round two. I’m sure you will both settle your scores there”

“Let me make one thing clear to you Daniel. We’re not in a regular training session here. So stop talking in a supreme manner.” Kim immediately said in disgust.

“...Huh? Of course I’m supreme so I’m asking you both to stop.”

“Then make me!”

“...okay”

‘What the hell?’

Kim immediately felt this sudden burden on his body. His face gave out a sudden look of distress as his body became more heavier and heavier. It was as if the whole force of gravity was acting on his body. It was so bad that he couldn’t stand properly anymore. Kim immediately fell to his knees.

‘What is this pressure? When did he..’

“Will you behave now Kim?”

Kim had a look of terror in his eyes as he belatedly answered Daniel.

“Yeah”

After his answer the burden was immediately lifted from his body.

“What the hell?”

“He brought Kim to his knees”

The powered human students in the Battle ground reacted in shock as they saw Kim on his knees.

“Sora isn’t Kim number two if I remembered correctly?” Gabriel asked

“ Yes he is..” 

Sora too was currently in shock too just like everyone.

“What big difference in strength between Number One and Number two...”
