“Daniel Ross”

  Danny muttered upon seeing the young man who had a mixed colors of black and white hair. To him it was as if he had just seen a ghost. Just how strong is this guy?

This question was what Gabriel’s facial expression was sending out. Just by looking at at the scene, it was very clear the presence of these two students had already intimidated Danny. If this was a battle of men trying to maintain their masculine frame, the two students in front of Danny had already won the battle a 100 times over mostly because of him ‘Daniel Ross’.

“Sorry about that just now. Looks like We just went over board Daniel” The Dark Brown haired guy said with a big smile.

“Relax Kim. Hey are you okay?” Daniel asked as he looked at Gabriel.

Gabriel eyes met with Daniel’s gaze but there was something similar about this guy and Nakamura sensei. The presence of Daniel Ross was just as intimidating as that of Nakamura sensei even Gabriel felt intimidated by him but he tried to hide this fact while replying to Daniel Ross in the calmest manner as possible.

“Yeah I’m okay.”

“You know this place is kinda dangerous. And it’s not a place for little babies. Are you sure you can cope around here?” Daniel said with a grin.

Gabriel could tell these two senior students were indirectly mocking him.

“I’m sure. I can do just fine.” Gabriel said with a nonchalant facial expression.

Gabriel didn’t want to go with this answer but he had to. He could tell that the two students standing in front of them were definitely strong. Deep down he knew if he challenge these students now he would definitely lose, he could feel it in his bones.

They were not in any way like the seniors in the regular humans program that he beat up before. They were on a different level. They were powered humans.

“Daniel senpai. Nakamura sensei asked me to show him around” Danny said with an attempt to quickly escape from the presence of these two seniors as he bowed before them.

“Nakamura sensei huh? Okay no problem you guys may continue” Kim replied with a broad smile.

Surprisingly Kim permitted both Danny and Gabriel to continue with their tour. Gabriel and Danny started to walking again until...

“Hey! New kid”

Gabriel turned his head in order to answer the voice that had called out to him besides there was no way in hell he could ignore the terrifying Daniel Ross right now.

“Yes?”

“Are you planning on participating in the Representative tournament?”

“Yes”

“Hahaha” Kim burst out into laughter immediately as he heard Gabriel’s reply to Daniel’s question.

“You..a regular human want to become a Dojo representative. Come on you dream so big. Our White Gi students will wipe the floor with you”

“Yeah he’s right. Are you sure you wanna do this kid?” Daniel Ross added to the Kim’s mockery.

‘Kid? So Even in this section the bullies still exist’

“Why don’t you worry for yourself. And I’ll worry for myself” Gabriel said in a displeasing  manner. The attitudes of the two seniors was already getting on his nerve and it was a fact he could hide no longer. 

“Huh?”

“Hahaha..haha”

The two senior both started laughing after hearing Gabriel’s response. To them it was as if Gabriel wasn’t a threat at all.

“Can I go now?” Gabriel asked as he interrupted the laughter of the two seniors.

“Huh? Sure yeah yeah. Move along”

Kim said gesturing his hand forward.

Gabriel and Danny continued on their tour. After they had walked a distance from the seniors Gabriel finally opened his mouth to speak once more.

“Are those guys always huge pr*cks?”

“Yeah”

“Pissss...Well the one with the most power gives the order.  That rule needs to be  changed.” Gabriel said as he complained.

“Well if I were you I’ll stay away from those guys at all cost”

Danny said as his tone got more serious.

“The Guy with the white and black hair. That’s Daniel Ross. The strongest student in this Dojo.”

“I see. So he’s the student I’ll have to stop in order to get that representative role?”

“Stop?”...Danny gave Gabriel a dumbfounded look as he continued speaking...”How do you intend on doing that? Sorry to say but everyone thinks you’re the most weakest person among us in this Powered Human section ” Danny said spitting out his honest opinion about Gabriel.

From the way Danny had been speaking since he met Gabriel, it was clear that he was a straightforward kind of person.

In the end he spoke the truth. Most of the students in powered human section actually looked at Gabriel with the perspective of him being weaker than them. Besides how can a regular human be on this same level as them in terms of strength?

“Oh I see. Well you might be right...but you see I have a goal I need to chase and I can’t wait around for too long. I got my Gene Enhancement because of this goal. “

“I can’t just sit around because some people are stronger than me. It just shows I have to get even more stronger myself and you should too” Gabriel said as he walked passed Danny while tapping his shoulder.

“Well Goodluck with that. I know I can’t beat Daniel so I’ll just use this tournament as a means to promote myself to the red Gi”

The representative tournament was also a means for students in the lower Gi rank to ascend to the higher Gi rank. If a student in the blue Gi gets to beat a student in the red Gi during the tournament, the blue Gi student immediately takes over the position of the red Gi student while red Gi students gets demoted to blue Gi.

In others words for students with lower Gi colors, the tournament wasn’t just about trying be the Dojo representative but about taking the thrones of the seniors. And seniors too needed to defend their thrones so the representative tournament was a tough exam. It was also a tournament to overtake someone else’s position.

“Okay if that’s what you want Goodluck my friend ” Gabriel replied back at Danny to end the topic because it was already sounding uninteresting to him.

For Gabriel the only thing he cared about now was getting the role of that representative and the huddle he had to cross to get that role was the seniors.

Danny continued to show Gabriel around the powered human section. The Powered human section was so much better in terms of training facilities. The training halls had a lot more spaces and then there was the regenerative incubator available for the powered humans students.

After they had walked around the Powered human section they finally made a stop in the front of a door.

“Alright this is the hall for the white Gi students and it’s also the place where you would be training”

“Well thanks Danny senpai”

“Oh just call me Danny please you are making feel too old hahaha “

“Okay Danny. But do you mind coming to my place later on so that we can train?”

“Huh? Train? No problem then” Danny replied in an optimistic manner.

Gabriel could tell Danny was actually a free soul, and he was a blue Gi student too. Training with a blue Gi student would at least help him improve his skill a little bit.

“Alright how about I have your number so that I  can call you later?” Gabriel said as he gave his phone to Danny. Danny collected the phone, put in his contact information and then handed it back to Gabriel.

“Aright bro there it is”

Gabriel collected his phone as he immediately looks at his phone screen.

“ Alright thank you”

“Okay take care” Danny said as he moves away.

Gabriel looks at the Door as he gave a sigh to calm himself before he opening the door and walking into the hall. Gabriel entered a hall with students, all wearing the same white Gi as him. 

They were all busy with their training. Some were training in groups while the others were training alone.

There were different noises due to the effects of people using their abilities during their training.  There were also students doing weight training. It was a big hall filled with students all training. On a normal basis their training was usually done with a Teacher around but teachers didn’t train with the powered humans student at this time.  If it was a real school this period would be like revision for its students with exam Time coming up  very close.

The teachers left the students to train by themselves using what they have thought them earlier on to try and prepare for the tournament.

Gabriel looked at the hall in amazement.

“Now that’s what I’m talking about” he muttered with a slight Grin.

Inside a office in the Stratton Dojo.

In the afternoon.

The three men on a black Gi who stood at the podium were all sitting in the room.

Nakumara Sensei was sitting behind a curvy desk with papers on the desk while the others were sitting at the other side of the curvy desk.

“ What do you think about the Regular Enhanced kid Nakamura sensei?” One of the teachers said as he asked Nakamura sensei for his opinions.

“Wasn’t he the kid that beat up his seniors on his very first day in the regular human program?” Another teacher asked in an inquiry manner.

“Yes he was the student who I promoted to a black Gi on his very first day in the regular human program” Nakamura sensei said casually as he continued speaking

“He was the very best among every students in the regular human training. His results were very promising in the regular humans program”

“But him getting into the The powered Human’s program is a big game changer for him now. The question is will he be able to keep up in this program even with his Enhanced abilities?”

“I guess we will just have to find out in the representative tournament” Nakamura sensei chuckled.

It was late evening already on that same day.

Gabriel had gotten back from the Stratton Dojo after his first day in the Powered Human training. He arrived at Machia’s Building, was already in front of the entrance door.

‘Hooo’...Gabriel let out a full breath of air.

‘What a stressful day’ Gabriel was about to open the door when he heard a very familiar voice.

“How was your day?”

Gabriel glanced immediately towards the  direction of the voice as he saw a figure that was leaning at a pillar in the dark. There was very little light to see the face of the person leaning at the pillar but this voice and this figure in his mind he knew already who it was even when he still tried to doubt it. The person in the dark was no other person but...

“Le..ah?”

Gabriel called out to Leah in a terrified manner.

“It’s good to see you little bro” Leah said as she walked out slowly away from the pillar to where there was light before the doorstep of the building.

He could now see the face of his blonde sister. She still had her long blonde hair tied and weaved as usual but her face was looking more mature. She still had her beautiful figure to compliment her femininity. But there was something off about her. Her aura felt different and Gabriel could feel it

“What..are you doing..here?” Gabriel stuttered out of shock as shiver struck down his entire body.

“Don’t you think I should be the one asking the questions here little bro?” Leah said as she gave Gabriel a dreadful smile before she continued speaking.

“I should be the one asking what you’re doing here?”

“Umm...well”

Gabriel tried to speak but he couldn’t find the words to explain himself to his sister. He knew that one day he will definitely have to tell his sister about his plans of getting into Demons Battle but he didn’t think today will be that day. His sister presence was a big shock to him.

“You didn’t tell me you got the new Gene Enhancement and I can see you want to participate in Demons Battle too”

“Well..yes I plan on participating big sister..-”

“You’re gonna stop all these nonsense this very minute” Leah interrupted Gabriel with a more serious tonality before he could even finish his statement.

Gabriel got shocked and paused for a while as he looked down for a few seconds upon hearing her. He looked back at her and said

“No”

The expression on his sister’s face changed immediately.

“What did you say?”

‘Shit when did she?’ Gabriel screamed in his thoughts. 

His sister was just standing a few distance in front of him a second ago. But right now she was actually standing right in front of him with her right hand on his shoulder. He could feel her aura all around him now and her aura wasn’t giving him a good feeling at all.

In that split second Gabriel tried raising his hand.

 *Bah*

And a sound was heard.

Before Gabriel could even notice he felt a very aching pain in his back. He looked around and noticed his sister had already pinned him towards the building wall.

‘Did she just push me towards the wall? How can she move so fast?’

Gabriel mind pondered as he looked at Leah angered facial expression. The speed with which Leah moved was on another level. She could move as fast as the blink of an eye.

“I’ll ask again what did you just say?” Leah stared at Gabriel directly in the eyes with her right hand still on his shoulder pinning him to the wall.

Now Gabriel was looking so terrified unable to speak.

“Hey! You said you wanted to see your brother not kill him.” 

Machia appeared as he intervened by holding unto the right hand of Leah.

Leah glanced at Machia for a second and glanced back at Gabriel before for a fews more seconds before she finally took her hand off Gabriel and walked away.

She walked a little distance and turned her head back before saying..

“Don’t participate in Demons Battle. I already told you Killer Joe is mine.”

“If I meet you in Demons Battle I’ll stop you even if I have to break every single bones in your body”
