Chapter 75: Denver Ricardo

The knock was short and precise. He looked up sitting back in his chair. Since taking over the Cole Organization; his whole view point and attitude has changed. He does his duty but no one in his family can reach beyond the cold front he has.

"I am sorry sir." The older woman he has chosen personally as his guard dog in the front office.

"Martha..." he acknowledged

"Two goverment looking men. They don't have an appointment." She stood ramrod straight looking at him. He likes her because she outright told him she once was employed in the military but since losing a leg no one wanted to hire her.

"I take it the fools insist on seeing me. Let them in."

"As you wish sir." She stood aside holding the door opened. She didn't even border to say anything. Her expression of displeasure says it all.

Denver watched her. He decided to give her another raise. She even managed to keep his parents at bay.

"Denver Ricardo..." The first man asked but in reality already knows. He holds out his badge.
