"You take care of the roads today,There was this fucking retard who didn't complete the task".

Sen woke up after getting kicked in his ass by someone, he scanned his surroundings and found himself in very old looking place.

Night's memory once again surged into his mind as he let out a muffled groan because of headache.

"Can't you fucking do anything you shitty piece of pleb?"

A brawny middle aged man scolded him with loud voice,Sen was confused at first then he nodded his head.

"What?",

The middle aged man was bewildered since Sen accepted that he can't do anything.

Sen took his towel, strolled out of the room while ignoring the middle aged man in the room.He asked for direction then entered into washroom.

The middle aged man stood there dumbfounded then an extreme sense of humiliation made him tremble,"These fucking servants don't even care about me, i will beat them into submission one day."

Sen did his daily task and went to his room, the brawny man was already gone.He did some stretches, and opened the door, took some money and exited this old looking room.

he suddenly halted since he saw lot of people looking at him in weird manner.

He felt weird getting stared like that but soon he adjusted himself and walked around in leisurely manner on outside but very vigilant in inside.

"James?Are you actually going outside?",A skinny young man asked him while savouring porridge from the plate with bit of a surprise on his face.

"Oh yeah.",Sen replied  in nonchalant manner as he glanced at the young man curiously.

He thought of asking some questions but he stopped,Since it would make him act like in weird way and he isn't aware of his predecessor's personality.

Since he knew that this world was full of supernatural stuff, what if they have some methods of searching his soul.

They could figure out that he is not from this world and it would create huge trouble for him.He thought all this in a moment.

"Haha!",

"Stop looking me like that, It's just i have never seen you going outside, so i was startled for a second."

The young man ate his porridge slowly.

"Umm...Yeah, I think i forgot to tell ya, a lady actually asked me about your....Whereabouts i guess?",He said with meaningful smile.

Sen squinted his eyes in questioning manner.

"Hmm..i guess i can tell you but in the exchange of three wine bottles."

The skinny man mischievously demanded.

Sen threw some coins at the ground,The young man threw his cheap porridge away and directly jumped on coins.

"She said she misses you very much daily like a mother misses her lovely child",He said and sat on the coins so nobody will see them.

"She looked very beautiful with her half body naked and hiding only other half!",The young man gulped.

Sen's eyes turned heavy as he asked in voice which was full of chill,"Age?"

The skinny lad got scared by his eyes and retreated without taking coins but  composed himself midway and said."Easy man!easy.She seemed of age thirty five and regarded you as her son."

Sen nodded.

"But i think she has some kinda fetish for forbidden love like mother and son, so i will warn you man.Be aware!"

The skinny lad's eyes flicked while he collected the coins on the ground.

Sen ignored him and exited the ground of the city labour association,He strolled towards market in leisurely manner while thinking of previous night.

He was thinking of that terrifying chillness he felt, he never felt this kind of fear in his both life so he was determined to find out what was behind that Jungle.

"Come on!Come on!"

"Selling the steak just for 1 bronze coins!"

The market was full of life, it was bustling as many vendors tried to attract the attention of by pulling some stunts.From time to time, many people could be seen who were arguing with stall owners.

There were also some luxurious looking shops where people with carriages went, as it was only open to nobles and big merchants.

Sen observed the market and walked towards an average looking shop with a banner hanging on it's entrance--' The Book Store'.

As he entered, he was welcomed by mature and elegant looking woman,A little cute boy age of ten brought him tea, Sen drank tea leisurely and looked at mature woman.

"Sir James,May i know the name of specific book which you require?",The elegant lady asked gently as she took a sip of tea.

Sen smiled ,"A book which can satisfy curiosity of a child about the world but also deep enough to make an adult curious."

"A gentleman with fine taste has knocked on my door, i can't let him leave in disappointment but i am afraid it would take deprive you all of your wealth."She chuckled seductively with her right hand covering her mouth.

Thump!

A big bag full of coins made it's appearance on the table.The lady with red hair stared into the eyes of Sen, searching for something.

Silence...!

She stood up with her clothe's edge in her hand as she walked towards violet box laying on expensive piece of clothe glowing with silver light on certain places indicating the name --"The Path Yet To be invented".

After some time,

Sen got out of the shop with happy expression as he stared the book in his hands.

"The book which contains all the information about city even containing some superficial super natural cultivation techniques but was proven fake."

Sen put a mask on his face while hiding his face as he took small, narrow path.
