I didn't know why I found an offense in that. Probably because I was waiting so patiently to transfer the aggression, but I remembered that Caidine wasn't the best subject for this. I tamed the urge. 

"I don't really think that's it. He seemed scared too but kept the straight face. He looked past me as though I wasn't there. That fucker was seated behind me, but what I really don't understand was why he was on the plane with me. It feels like something is fishy. Like something isn't right."

I took a glance at her. We were seated at the dining table. I was at the edge of the table, backing the parlor while she was by the side to the left. 

"That's what to think, but you know Albert. Does he have a time for that? Does he really care whether or not I'm alive. I guess he's just putting up a charade."
