I said on top of my voice, taking a leave of the sight of the barman who kept on shooting me this wierd stare. I knew what he wanted.
"Forgive me, if I have wronged you."
He pleaded. I scoffed and looked away, but regrettably back at the barman. Twas a noisy place. We could had chosen a less raspy bar but I kinda needed a typical distraction while discussing with him.
"This isn't about whether or not to forgive you, Rowe. What if I had been strangled to death before you arrived? What would had been your excuse, you would had snatched my properties, eh? Since I have no child."
He tried to reach his hand through the counter at me. Of course he was seated close to me but he did have guts though. I pulled my hand back and glared at him.
